Luna sighed for then umpteenth time in the day as they walked to the female’s closet. She just saw her results for another test they took.

“Come on girl, see the good side of thing. You got a C- this time,” Aurora smiled.

“That’s not gonna help me Rora,” Luna sighed

Aurora pouted, “I wish some sort of magic could happen that would switch yours and Gavin’s brain.”

“Gavin?” Luna raised a brow.

“Yeah, he has entered in the school’s record as the top students of this school. Since his first year till now he has never gotten anything less than A in all his courses. He’s a real genius, too bad he’s a jerk.” Aurora explained.

“Oh…” Luna muttered.

They walked in the closet to change. It was time for their physical exercise. Apparently, the third year boys will be playing against the final year boys in soccer.

“Today will be so hot, who will you be supporting. I’ll go for final year,” Aurora said as she dressed.

“Umm.. I don’t know,” Luna shrugged, though deep down she really wanted to see Weston again.

They immediately headed to the stadium. The match had already begun and a voluminous number of people where present, cheering for their favorite team.

Amongst the players, Weston was amongst. He looked really good as he dribbled the opponent team.

“Luna!!” Emily called, waving her hand in the air from where she was sitting

“Let’s go and see her,” Aurora and Luna went to sit next to Emily.

“OMG, you guys just missed the first goal that Weston scored. It was so crazy!” Emily gushed.

Just as expected, he scored another goal and screams erupted almost everywhere.

Gavin who was sitting at the back scoffed as he watched, “Boring.” He commented

“Well it doesn’t seem boring to me. Don’t tell me you’re jealous of Weston,” Ethan smirked.

Gavin scoffed, “That’s the last thing I’ll do. Soccer is not my thing, I prefer basketball.”

“If you say so,” Ethan smirked

“Okay, this is so weird. Where is Kehlani, it’s been more than a week I last saw her.” Gavin muttered.

Ethan gasped loudly, “Am I dreaming? The legendary Gavin is worried about someone.”

Gavin rolled his eyes at him before standing up, “The match is boring. Meet me in class,” He said and with that he began walking away.

Luna who was so focused on the match, caught Gavin leaving the area. She immediately stood up from her seat.

“What’s up?” Emily asked.

“I’ll be back girls, give me some minutes.” She muttered and immediately left.

“Hey! Jerk!” Luna called

Gavin sighed and stopped on his track without turning back, “What do you want?”

Luna looked around cautiously. The last thing she wants is getting caught talking to him.

“Let’s talk in here,” Luna pointed at an empty class and without waiting for his reply, she dragged him in.

“Did you just drag me in here against my will,” Gavin frowned.

“I need you to help me with something. Believe me, you’re the last person I will want to encounter again but I don’t have a choice,” Luna sighed and clamped her hands tightly together.

“Please, tutor me.” She muttered

Gavin scoffed and rolled his eyes then made to open the door but Luna quickly blocked him.

“Out of my way,” Gavin raised a brow.

“Please huh? I badly need your help on that. Just for 1 months okay? After that I won’t ever ever bother you again I promise.”

Gavin crossed his arms on his chest, “And what do I gain in return?”

“Oh.. Uhh…” Luna bit her lips. Her eyes suddenly brightened when she remembered something.

“I have something,” She said and brought out a sparkly necklace. It was silver in color and looked like it was made of real silver.

Gavin’s eyes widened. He didn’t bother to hide the shocked look on his face.

“Where did you get that?”

“Remember our first encounter when those scary men were after you? Well when you left I saw this on the floor and it looked expensive so I guess it must be of value to you.”

Gavin breathed out in relief. He looked everywhere for the necklace but couldn’t find it.

“Give it,” Gavin made to collect it but Luna closed her palm that had the necklace in it.

“I was right then, it’s of importance to you. You should be thankful I’m not a bad person, I would have sold it off for some couple of bucks. How about you reward me for this,” Luna smirked.

“I’m not tutoring you in any sh*t.” Gavin frowned.

Luna shrugged, “Then I guess you don’t need this,” Luna turned to leave but he grabbed her wrist.

“Wait…” Gavin hissed then brought out his phone the stretched it at her.

Luna looked at it then raised a brow, “I don’t get.”

“Your phone number. I’ll text you the address we’ll meet for the tutoring.” Gavin said.

Luna smiled cutely, “You see, it wasn’t that hard.” she said and collected his phone then typed in her number.

Gavin dialed the number and it rang on her phone.

“Saved,” Luna said, saving his number.

“And here you go.” She gave the necklace to him.

“I’m expecting the text, later!” Luna winked and left the class.

“This small brat!” Gavin hissed. He couldn’t believe a small insect like her just threatened him.

He looked down at the necklace and smiled.

“At least it was worth it,” He kissed the necklace.

“Dad, what’s up old man?” He picked the call, taking another sip from his glass.

“Since you came back, I saw you just once. I don’t even know if my son is well or not, do you want me to die because of over worrying for you?” His voice complained over the phone.

“Dad, I’m 23. You don’t need to worry about me, I just like my personal space.” He replied.

“Won’t you at least come back home for the weekend?”

“Sure, if that’s what you want.” Gavin shrugged.

They talked for a while before Gavin hung up. He got out of the water and picked a towel, drying off the water from his body.

“Umm sir-” A young lady almost bumped on him when coming out of the apartment.

She couldn’t help but drool over his bare body. Why wouldn’t she? Other pays money just to see his body on magazines and she’s here seeing it for free.

She quickly looked away when Gavin ached his brows up.

Kehlani rushed in the female’s dressing room. Daniel couldn’t sleep so she had to stay a bit longer with him, causing her to arrive late.

She brought out her uniform and began wearing it in a hurry. Meanwhile two other girls were there two, having a conversation with each other.

“Did you hear the announcement? The club has a new owner.”

“I know right? I heard that the former owner refused to sell it to all the previous potential buyers. For him to sell it, I guess the new owner must have bid a huge sum of money.”

“I heard our new boss is very handsome too.” The girls giggled.

“Quick, let’s get ready. We have an urgent meeting with our new boss remember?” One of the girls said.

“Oh yeah, that’s true! Let’s get going,” And with that they both left.

Kehlani furrowed her brows, “We have a new boss?” She wondered.

She quickly got dressed to and followed the two girls to the room where the meeting was held. All the staff members were present.

They were all murmuring and talking with each other but the place became silent as everyone diverted their attention to a man dressed in a black suit.

“Good evening everyone, as you all may know this meeting was held in order to introduce to everybody the club’s new owner. President to your our new boss, Mr. Jason Wright.” The man gestured to the entrance and almost immediately a tall handsome looking man casually walked in with his bodyguards behind him.

Kehlani’s eyes widened. It’s him! It’s that pervert! Her wide eyes followed him as he walked till he stood in front of others.

Jason smiled, “Good evening everyone, it’s an honor to…” Jason began speaking but nothing entered Kehlani’s ear as she just stared at him with wide eyes.

“Did he buy the club because of me? Is this because of what I said? He wants to get back at me?” Several thoughts kept running through her mind.

Her chain of thoughts was disrupted when everyone began clapping. Looks like he just finished giving his speech

Jason smiled charmingly at everyone, waving at them. Kehlani just stood rooted on the spot, still trying to process the shock she just got.

Her heart sank when he looked at her making her to jolt in surprise.

“The meeting is over. Everyone can resume their work,” The man in suit announced and everyone began leaving.

Jason left with two of his bodyguards while the third one walked towards Kehlani.

“Miss, our boss is waiting for your presence at the VVIP sector.”

Kehlani stared at the hefty man before nodding. Without complain, she followed the man.

They got there and the man opened the door for her to go in which she did. She met Jason, sitting down on the king sized couch.

“Leave us,” Jason muttered and all his bodyguards left the room.

Jason stood up and took slow strides towards her with his hands in his pockets, “Like my surprise?”

“If you’re doing this because of what happened last time then you’re wasting your time. I’m not taking back my words, you’re a filthy pervert and you might as well fire me right here and right now coz nothing will make me change my mind,” Kehlani said.

Jason looked a bit surprised for some seconds but he smiled it away.

“Still resilient I see? Better,” He smirked and leaned to her ear, “I like the chase. It turns me on,”

Kehlani gasped.

Luna sighed loudly as she looked at her results on the paper. She scored a D+

Unlike Emily, she’s not the brainy type. She had to read her brain out just to pass a simple scholarship, what more of the tests and exams they’ll be having.

“Don’t feel bad, okay? It’s just a quiz, not an official exam. You joined us pretty late so maybe that’s why you didn’t score high, with time you’ll get the hang of it, I’m sure.” Aurora said and Luna smiled lightly then nodded before looking at her paper. She instantly sighed again.

“No need to check, I can’t score less than A+.” Gavin said, standing up from his seat as he wore his crossbag.

“You scored A+ as expected. What do I expect from the top student of the school.” Ethan said proudly.

“Instead of flaunting my grades, you need to work on yours.” Gavin said, dipping his hands in his pockets.

“Hey I scored B-, it’s better than my past grades.” Ethan scoffed.

“Hey Gavin, where’s your seatmate. That blonde sexy baby mama.” Ethan asked, noticing the absence of Kehlani.

Gracie sat down on a seat in an empty class as she played with her manicured fingernails. Not long after, two guys dragged in a slim guy throwing him down to his knees in front of Gracie.

“So listen, they’re 3 students in this school you should avoid at all cost, we call them the big three. First of all, we have Weston. You should avoid him at all cost, he literally owns the heart of 70% of the female students in this school and he’s crazily rich too. You getting involved with him will just bring a lot of troubles to you especially from his admirers and that’s something you don’t want!” Aurora explained and Luna just nodded.

“Then we have Gavin, the hot bike rider. Not only is he Weston’s mortal enemy, he’s the most mysterious and weird dude you’ll see in this school. He hates associating with people especially girls but trust me you need to avoid him at all cost. Gavin is a top model and you don’t want to have all his crazy fans on your neck, trust me.”

Luna squeezed her face, “He’s a top model? Eww…”

“And lastly we have Paola. She’s in the same level as Gavin and Weston and is crazily obsessed with Gavin. If you don’t want any of her trouble then it’s advisable you stay away from Gavin at all cost. She can be very ruthless, trust me.”

“Well thanks for the lecture but I won’t be needing that coz from today henceforth I’ll learn to stick to my level. Come, let’s-”

“Bestie!!!” Emily screamed loudly then jumped on Luna, hugging her tightly.

“You’re choking me,” She groaned.

“I heard what happened. You slapped Emily in front of everyone, my girl is finally getting bolder! Gosh I’m so proud of you, girl!!!” Emily squealed.

Luna just shook her head then smiled before facing Aurora.

“Rora, meet Emily my bestfriend. Emily meet Aurora, she’s my new friend.” Luna said

“Nice to meet you, you’re cute.” Emily winked.

“I love your outfit too.” Aurora smiled.

“So are you guys done with lectures? Let’s go,” Emily asked.

Aurora and Luna nodded and they both left at once.

Gavin was seen laying down on the bench with his headset on as he listened to music like tapping his feet to the beat.

“Yo..” A dude suddenly popped his face in front of Gavin’s face with a creepy smile, startling Gavin.

“What the fuck man! Get your face off mine, I’m not gay!” Gavin pushed him away, sitting up to glare at the guy.

He chuckled before sitting next to Gavin, hanging his arms around Gavin.

“My dude is finally back!”

“How many times will I tell you I hate body contact.” Gavin hissed and pushed him off.

“C’mon bro I know you missed me” Ethan winked and Gavin rolled his eyes.

“I can clearly remember I fucking told you to stay away from me.”

“That was in our freshers days bro and I can clearly remember telling you never will I stay away from you. You need a dude to save your lonely ass and thankfully I’m here” Ethan bragged.

Gavin looked at him from head to toe then shook his head before standing up, heading to the exit.

“How was your one year trip abroad. Was it to France? Spain? Can’t believe you didn’t even bother checking up on me.” Ethan said, faking a hurt look on his face.

Gavin continued walking without a word. Ethan hung his arm round his shoulder once more. Gavin gave him an irritated look but Ethan just smiled as they continued walking.

<NIGHT: BILLIONAIRE’S CLUB>

It was a very expensive and luxurious club made solely for billionaire, both men and female. Very few were seen, with some playing billiards while some were seated surrounded by the waitresses, throwing themselves sensually at them.

The waitresses wore skimpy and tight outfits that barely covered their b**bs and àss with excessive makeup on their faces.

Amongst these waitresses, Kehlani was one of them. She was seen standing in front of a window, looking at her reflection. Discomfort marred her face as she pulled uncomfortable on the short fabric of the gown that barely covered her backside.

“Kehlani!”

“Yes ma’am,” Kehlani quickly turned to her boss.

“Iris isn’t feeling well, you’ll be replacing her at the VVIP sector for tonight.”

“Huh?” Kehlani muttered, looking surprised. The VVIP sector was mostly occupied by two or three people and those are the elites of the area.

“Don’t worry, I’ll increase your pay for tonight.” The woman smiled. Kehlani slowly nodded with a forced smile on her face.

Of course she was happy about the increment in salary but on the other hand, those who occupy the VVIP sector are very promiscuous, they get to touch and do anything they want with the waitresses who serve them and the waitresses won’t do anything for fear of losing important customers and that’s what Kehlani is scared of.

Losing her patience.

“Quick! We don’t want them waiting, do we?”

“Oh, sure ma’am.” Kehlani nodded before leaving.

If not because the pay was good and it doesn’t obstruct her studies since she works at night, she would have quit long ago.

She got there and unlike the rough and loud scenery she pictured the place to be, it was calm with a soft piano tune playing at the background.

Only one customer was there with two waitresses serving him and his bodyguard at all corners of the room. One was busy massaging his shoulder as he played billiard.

Kehlani exhaled hard and smiled brightly before walking up to them.

“Sir, is there anything I can get you?” She asked politely.

“I’ll want a… Oh, you.” He smiled when he raised his face to see her.

Kehlani’s eyes went wide. This is the man who almost hit her with a car, she even cussed him on top.

“Kehlani, what did you do!” She screamed inwardly.

“Leave us,” He spoke and the other two waitresses left with puzzled looks.

He smiled even more as he looked at the shocked look on her face.

“Who would have thought I would see you again…” He paused, glancing through her attire, “And dressed in such outfit.”

Kehlani cleared her throat and immediately covered her exposed chest with her long golden hair as she looked away..

“Sir, is there anything I could get for you?” She asked professionally.

“How about you, Goldie?” He muttered, leaning down since was shorter.

Kehlani took a step back and took in a huge breath before looking at him.

“I’m sorry sir, but I can’t get that for you. Is there anything I could get for you?”

He picked the end of her hair, playing with it. “You look even more appetizing yunno,”

“What is someone like you, doing in a place like this? Life got you doing risky jobs huh?”

His hand left her hair and went to her bare shoulder, gently pulling down here the sleeve.

“I can change your life forever, just-”

“Fuck off!” Kehlani snapped, slapping his hand off her.

“Since you’re that rich, why not use some of that to buy yourself some dignity and some shame huh?” Kehlani rolled her eyes.

The bodyguards immediately positioned, ready to launch at a her but just with a raise of his finger, the stopped.

“It’s okay, we can’t beat a girl.” He muttered before looking at her, “They’re several ways to tame a wildcat.” He smirked before leaving, his fleet of bodyguard following.

Kehlani sighed and ran her hands through her hair

Gavin spit out the metallic taste of blood in his mouth before wiping off the blood stain on his lips.

“Say that again!” The boss made to punch him again but he caught his wrist midair and returned the punch back.

Almost immediately, the other four men ganged up and began beating him up. He tried fighting back but they easily overpowered him.

Luna looked around, this was her opportunity to escape.

“But I can’t leave him there. What if they kill him,” She thought and began looking around for something she can use.

Her gaze landed on a rusty siren laying beside the trash can. She picked it and dusted it.

“I hope it’s still working.” With that she pressed on the button and the siren began blaring loudly, so loud that she had to block her ears.

“It’s the cops!” One of the men said.

“Let’s get out here,” Their boss said before looking at Gavin. “I’m not yet done with you,” He gave Gavin one last kick before leaving with his men.

Luna immediately came out of her hiding and rushed to Gavin who was laying on the ground in pains.

“Are you okay? Do you need help,” She made to touch him but he slapped her hand off.

“If not because of you, I wouldn’t have been in this state. F**k off!” Gavin snapped, standing up with great difficulty.

“But-”

“I said f**k off!” Gavin cut her off. He glared at her before mounting his bike, driving off.

Luna immediately scoffed and rolled her eyes.

“Arrogant pig.”

<GWYNNE’S RESTAURANT>

“Aunt! Aunt! You won’t believe what happened down this street. There was a-” Luna exclaimed as she entered the restaurant but stopped when she saw her uncle there too.

“Good afternoon, uncle” She greeted.

Kenzo placed a paper on the table loudly with a very unhappy countenance.

“What is the meaning of this!”

“Huh?” Luna picked the paper and read through it. Her eyes widened when she saw it was her letter of admission sent by the school.

“I’m sorry for not letting you guys know. I just got to know about it yesterday and I-”

“How many times will I f**king tell you that school is not meant for you! You’re meant to sit here, help your aunt out and look for a side hustle!” Kenzo barked.

“But-”

“Decline this admission.” Kenzo said.

“Uncle..” Luna’s eyes widened.

“So far as you’re still living under my roof you’re going to do what I ask of you. Now, decline this admission!”

“Uncle, please…” Luna began shedding tears.

“Honey,” Gwynne, Luna’s aunt finally spoke.

She held her husband’s arm and smiled sweetly at him.

“Honey, just allow the poor girl to do what she wants okay? Just this once,” Gwynne said.

“School is just a waste of time and money. Look at us, we’re college graduates but still can’t afford a good and decent job.”

“Yes, I know honey but everyone’s luck is different. Who knows, Luna might be our financial breakthrough.” Gwynne said.

“Let her go to college, huh?” She smiled at her husband.

Kenzo folded his fists tightly. He looked at Gwynne then at Luna before storming out of the restaurant.

“Thank you so much aunt.” Luna cleaned her tears.

“It’s okay, sweetie. Now stop the tears, don’t worry your uncle will definitely come through.” Gwynne patted her hair and smiled

“I don’t think he will.” Luna said in her head but nevertheless, she smiled back at her aunt.

“After today’s sales, I’ll call Emily so that she’ll take you shopping. You can’t attend such a prestigious college, dressing like this.” Gwynne said.

“Thanks, aunt!” Luna smiled widely.

“Now get the provision to the kitchen, let’s start cooking.”

Luna bit her lips, “Umm… About the provision.”

Weston squinted his eyes as the sun rays hit his eyes. He gently sat up on the bed, holding his throbbing head, his hair looked disheveled yet he still looked so handsome.

He looked at his side to see a lady sleeping naked beside him. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled at him.

“Baby…” She sat up, holding the sheets to her body.

“You were so good last night, baby.” She ran her hands through his chest, slowly going down.

Weston caught her hand before it could go down any further.

“Leave.”

Her eyes widened, “What?” She whispered.

“You heard me right. You’ve gotten what you wanted, a night with Weston O’Neill. Now leave,” Weston said.

Weston chuckled like he heard something funny. “Love? I don’t do that sh*t.” With that said he stood up, heading to the bathroom.

Tears fell from the girl’s eyes but she immediately cleaned them. What was she expecting from Weston after all.

“I’m sorry,” Luna mumbled again. The last thing she’ll want is to get in trouble with these rich kids.

“I wanted to ask anyone interested in dancing with me but since you’re here I hope you don’t mind,” Weston stretched his hand towards her.

“Hope our path meet again,” He smiled then placed a kiss on her hand before leaving.

Luna stood there, staring at him till he was out of sight, her heart beating erratically.

“There you are! Gosh, I thought you got lost or something. Can’t believe I had to stand in line for more than 15 minutes just to get our order” Emily sighed.

“Hey, what’s wrong? What’s that look on your face?”

Luna immediately blinked back to reality, “Oh, uh nothing. It’s nothing serious.”

“Okay, if you say so. Come let’s go to our seat.”

Luna walked inside her room and slumped down on her small bed. Thankfully, she was able to beat curfew.

“If this is what clubbing feels like then I don’t wanna ever go again.” Luna sighed loudly.

She smiled when she remembered about her admission.

“I wonder how my college life is going to be. I just hope I make more friends and graduate with good grades.” She mumbled.

Her tummy suddenly grumbled and she pouted, rubbing it. Getting up, she went to the kitchen to make herself something to eat before going to bed.

She decided to make noodles. As she set the pot on fire her mind suddenly drifted to that handsome guy she danced with.

“I wonder who is he? Is he a student in my college too? I really want to see him again.” She smiled sheepishly.

“You’re finally back.”

Luna jolted up and immediately turned back to see it was her uncle, standing by the door of the kitchen.

“Good evening sir,” Luna greeted.

He just looked at her from head to toe before walking closer. Luna took a step back till her leg hit the counter..

“And where did you go to. All dressed like this.” He questioned, his gaze running through her body, lingering more on her exposed waist.

“I-I went out with Emily, sir.”

He smirked out and brought up his hand, running his hand through her arm. Luna clutched the side of her skirt tightly.

“I thought I made it clear, that you shouldn’t be dressing like this while going out.” He leaned closed to her neck, inhaling her scent

“Uncle-”

“Daddy?”

He immediately shifted away from Luna, acting like he was bringing out a bottle of water from the fridge. Almost immediately, Mia entered the kitchen, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

“Daddy I’m thirsty.” Mia pouted.

“Here, I’ve gotten the water, let’s go.” He smiled at Mia before holding her hand. They both left the kitchen.

Luna placed her hand on her chest that was beating fast as a drop of tear fell from her eyes.

“Gosh, these are so heavy!” Luna groaned as she carried some loads to her aunt’s shop.

Her aunt owns a small restaurant and she was asked to go and buy some foodstuffs they’ll cook for the customers to come.

She suddenly stopped walking when she heard some grumbling sounds.

“Where’s it coming from?”

The sounds got nearer and nearer and by the time she recognized what was causing that sound it was too late.

A black speed bike was speeding towards her. Her eyes widened in horror.

“Arrgghh!!!”

The bike screeched to an abrupt stop, causing the driver to fall off the bike. The driver of the bike was wearing all black with a black helmet.

He pulled off his helmet, revealing none other than Gavin.

“Are you blind! Can’t you see I was driving towards you? What happened to your leg couldn’t it move away from the road!” Gavin snapped, walking towards her.

“I-I-”

Luna couldn’t form a coherent phrase when she heard the sound of bikes coming near, and this time they were many.

“Sh*t!” Gavin hissed and pulled Luna to a secluded corner.

Five speed bikes stopped right at the spot they were standing before.

One of them got down to check Gavin’s bike.

“It’s his bike, boss!”

The man referred to as boss got down his own bike.

“Search this perimeter and make sure he does not escape. How dares he steal my girlfriend!” The boss growled.

“Gavin, I know you’re around here. You better come out like a good little boy coz if I find you, I’ll ruin that face of yours!!”

Luna’s eyes widened as she looked at the guy standing before her.

“Are you the Gavin those muscular dudes are looking for?”

“The one and only.”

Luna’s eyes widened even more, what sort of trouble did she get herself into!
