Dominic was already awake, he was stroking Gwen’s hair and looking at her face.

She looked so cute while sleeping, she was sleeping like nothing bothers her at all.

“I’d be so jealous if you fell asleep in front of another man,” he muttered.

“When did he leave?” She asked and no reply from Jace again.

Lucky brought out her phone and dialed Edward’s number but it kept saying it’s reachable.

“Edward don’t do this to me, please pick my calls” she cried and tried again, still not reachable.

She went straight to voicemail.

“Edward sweetheart if you see this message please call me. Don’t mind the harsh things mom said to you yesterday, she’s just angry that things weren’t the way she expected. I love you Edward, I don’t know how many times I want to tell you that, I don’t care what others think of us. If they like, they can make fun of me from now till the next morning. It doesn’t mean, I love you and nothing can change that, please call me when you get this, don’t leave me alone I beg of you” she said while crying at the same time.

After she sent it, she squatted on the floor and burst out in tears.

“Hey” Jace moved closer to her, he touched her shoulders but she slapped his hands off.

“And what do you think you’re doing? In case you don’t know, I still remember how you tried to force yourself on me in the lady’s room so I haven’t forgiven you yet. I know you’re jealous of Edward because I chose the guy with the chubby face and stomach inside of the good looking and perfect one and guess what? I will choose Edward over and over because you can never be compared to him and if you know what’s good for you, you fuck off and don’t touch me!!” She yelled at him like a mad person.

Jace slowly moved back.

She took her phone and tried calling his number again but it didn’t go.

“Edward, where did you run off too? Please come back!” She cried loudly then stood up and found her way out of the hostel.

Jace went in and slammed the door, he sat on his bed and looked around.

Dominic is not here and Xavier too, he left after Edward fell asleep.

“But I didn’t do anything wrong right? She was mine first and we liked each other but Edward stole her from me, I just had to take what was rightfully mine” he said to himself.

Lucky’s words came back to him and he shook his head.

“I can never be compared to him? Give me a month’s time and I’ll make sure things go back to the way it was before when you used to like me and not him!” He muttered while clenching his fist tight.

A car stopped in front of the school compound and Dante came out, the other side of the door opened and Naomi came down too.

“We are late for basketball practice come on” he held her hand and began pulling her with him.

“There you two are, practice started an hour ago, what’s up coach and team player?” Tom asked as he was bouncing the ball with one hand.

I’ll be hiring some cheerleaders and I’ll be rearranging our diets and gym time table and sleeping time table, I’ll make sure we get the next trophy for the school” Naomi said and stretched one of her hands out.

“Team Phoenix warriors!!” She shouted.

The teammates including Dante gave her a confused look.

“It’s our team name, keep up!” Naomi rolled her eyes and they joined her.
