He also looked a bit startled when he bumped into Gwen but he didn’t allow it to show on his face.

“What are you even doing here?” She asked.

“Why do you care? Are you suddenly interested in me because I’m the president son?” He asked with an arrogant smirk dancing around his face.

The moment he said that, Gwen raised her head up to look at his face and before he knew it, her hand went to his cheeks.

“You being the president’s son changes nothing in my life!” She said hardly, before trying to walk pass him.

Dominic slowly removed his hands from his cheeks and grabbed her back.

“Let go! What do you want from me now! Haven’t you taken enough!?” She yelled as she struggled back.

Something fell from her hand, she was about to pick it up but Dominic was faster than her.

He was surprised to see that it was that painting he gave her in this same studio that night.

He slowly looked at her face and she looked elsewhere.

“You still have this? I don’t get it, I thought you threw it away?” He looked and sounded confused.

“Yeah, I thought so too and to be honest, I don’t really know why I keep it around, I guess I was just being stupîd” she replied before leaving.

Dominic didn’t go after her or anything, he just kept looking at the painting with a kind of expression on his face.

Why does she still have this? The last time he remember, she squeezed it and threw it away even called it ugly.

Now he was starting to feel confused.

Lucky wrote something on her paper and squeezed it before looking back and throwing it at Edward.

The paper hit Edward’s head and he confusedly picked it then unwrapped it.

He looked around before his gaze landed at Lucky who just waved at him and all while, Jace was slowly monitoring the both of them.

“Hey Jace, are you already planning what your preparation in the talent show will look like?” Xavier who was beside Jace asked.

Jace slowly took his eyes from them.

“I don’t know, your talent is to sleep around with girls isn’t it? Why don’t you invite a girl on stage and sleep with her for everyone to see how good you are!” Jace scoffed and looked elsewhere.

“You’re obviously not well this morning, after class please go and take a rest” Xavier scoffed and turned to face Dominic.

“What are you planning for talent show?” He asked.

“I don’t know, I can’t really say what my talent is yet” he said slowly.

“Are you sure?” A voice suddenly sounded and they turned back to see Erica smiling at them.

She was actually sitting behind them.

“How did you even get here?” Xavier asked but she ignored, her eyes were on Dominic.

“Chase are you sure you can’t really say what your talent is yet because as I’m doing a big looking, I can actually find a good one” she said with a smirk.

“It’s Dominic, if you want to insult me atleast know how to pronounce my name” he muttered.

Erica chuckled and placed her hands on her chin.

“What do you have to say about lying to the whole school Mr President’s son?” She asked.

“Erica” Gwen called from the front sit and shook her head immediately.

Erica scoffed and stood up.

“I’m not here to cause any trouble but I just want to let you know that incase if you can’t find a talent for yourself, remember that you’re really good at lying and just like the way you put up a show earlier, you go ahead and do it on the talent stage” she eyed him and left.

“Don’t mind Erica” Xavier placed his hands on Dominic’s body.

“I know, I have better things to worry about” Dominic muttered.

Soon the lecturer for the morning entered the class and lectures started.

Edward kept scratching his hair as he found his way to Lucky’s locker, he met her standing and looking to the left, seems like she was waiting for him.

“I’m here” he said and she turned to look at him with a smile.

“You wanted to tell me something?” He asked.

“Yeah, I want us to be talent partners” she smiled.

“But I don’t have a talent” Edward replied with a pout.

“Who said that? Tell me something, how many plate of food can you eat in ten minutes?” She asked.

“I don’t know, if they are delicious then I don’t mind eating a thousands plate” he said and licked his lips, dreaming of food already.

“See.. that is a talent” she said cheerfully and hit his shoulders.

“Really?” Edward looked a little confused.

“Yeah, I’m a good cook, I’ll cook plenty of food and you’ll eat them all, together we have something to do” she said with a smile.

“Cool” Edward smiled and frowned back.

“But why did you pick me” he muttered.

“Because I don’t want my food to waste, I’m a fan of not wasting food” she replied and he smiled.

“Okay I guess I’ll see you later then” he muttered.

“In the school park, we have a lot of planning to do” she smiled and Edward nodded before running off.

Lucky chuckled and faced her locker but Jace suddenly appeared behind her.

“Lucky” he called and she turned to look at him with widened eyes.

For a moment she didn’t know what to say but she just smiled and covered up everything.

“Hi” she said.

“I’m actually looking for a project partner and I don’t know if you’ll like to join me, it’s gonna be fun” he said with a smile.

“Yeah sure I’d love to…” She suddenly paused and shook her head.

“No, I’m sorry I already have a project partner” she muttered.

“Really?” Jace looked a bit disappointed.

“Yeah, I just asked Edward a while ago and I had a lot of plans for us” she replied and continued arranging her books.

“I also had a lot of plans for us” he muttered and she looked at him.

“You say?” She asked.

Jace immediately shook his head.

“Nothing” he muttered.

“Okay, have fun, sorry once again” Lucky smiled at him and began leaving.

When she got to her room, her smile slowly died down in realization with what she just did.

“I just turned Jace down!” She said and gasped, covering her mouth with her palms.

“Why are you looking like that?” Gwen asked with a smile, she was sitting on her bed and pressing her laptop when Lucky entered.

“You won’t believe what just happened, Jace asked me to be his project partner but I turned him down” she replied.

“Why?” Gwen asked.

“I don’t know, I mean why would I turn Jace down?” She thought and stood akimbo.

“Maybe your feelings for him are dying off little by little” Erica shrugged,she was also present in the room.

“It’s a lie, my feelings for Jace can never die, not in a million years!” Lucky bragged.

“That’s what I thought about Bruno and I, it started little by little, his news weren’t affecting me anymore till it affected me no more and I’m proud to say I’m over him” Erica shrugged.

“Not for me, I can ever be over Jace” Lucky rolled her eyes and went to the bathroom.

While the both of them were talking, Gwen was having a good thought.
