I’ve been looking for ways to get rid of Veronica but she just wouldn’t leave me. Jerry is an asshole for forcing me to get into this in the first place and now I don’t know how to go out. I sigh. “I’m not playing with her, she knows we aren’t progressing but she’s choosing to ignore. She’s playing with her feelings herself” I defend myself.
“If it’s so then why do you kiss her?” I was stunned by the next question but I answered. “I just did”

“It meant nothing” I shrug.
“You just kiss people without feeling a thing?” She raises one of her brows at me. “So does that mean-” she bit her lips without completing what she was about to say and realization down on me. “I’ll excuse you” Dove clears her throat and leaves me with Veronica. It felt awkward and silent, Veronica had this look on her face and I hope she overheard my conversation with Dove. I do.

“Yeah whatever” She scoffs, she still looks pained and I kind of feel bad for her. I didn’t mean to hurt her but at the same time, I’m glad she knows my feelings. Maybe she can find someone better.
“So… Are we over now?” I call her attention to what she’s trying to avoid again.
“You’re in a rush to dump me so you can be with Dove right?” She gives me a look but I don’t answer and she lets out a painful chuckle. “You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into Derek. Dove is a minor, you’d get arrested if anyone finds out” She warns me.
I know what it will cost for me to be involved with Dove in any way. I’ve seen it in her eyes, I know what she feels and I believe it’s just because she’s young. She’s naive and once she’s all grown up, she would realize I was never who she wanted maybe then find someone else- of her age.
I don’t know what to feel about this. Something stings me on the chest with the thought of her finally happy with someone else, kissing someone else. Some other fucking dude would get to kiss those pink lips that taste like sugar.
I ignore these feelings.
“It’s not about Dove. I don’t do young girls. It’s about us not working out. I want us to end this Veronica” I say.
“I get it, Derek. You don’t feel anything for me but we can be friends with benefits” She tries to convince me.

“Nothing Veronica. I can’t, let’s end this for once and all. If you won’t leave then I’d leave” I made an attempt to rise from the chair but she held me back.
“I’ll leave,” She says while holding her hands in the air. “And better don’t come looking for me in the future!” She rolls her eyes.
Is that supposed to be a threat? Well, scratch that.
“I promise I won’t come looking for you in the future,” I tell her. I don’t think anything can ever make me miss her and I take back what I said. She’s freaking bad in bed and her pussy is too loose plus it smells like shit.
I watch her leave, matching the floor and swinging her arms like she’s fighting with the air. It made me feel some sort of relief till I remembered what she told me earlier.
