I struggled when opening my eyes, when I did opened my eyes, I saw something used in covering my nose down to my mouth which did support me when breathing, I guess because I can’t breath. A drip was placed in my right hand to give me strength because I was weak inwardly.
The shouting of the person standing next to me got my attention, I guess she was the one that was attending to me.

“HE is awake! Doctor he is awake.” Her expression was as if people has lost hope on me coming back to life.
From the mention of doctor and the dress the person standing by me put on which makes me to see her as nurse, I knew I was in the hospital. The nurse went out to call the doctor and I know she will inform Ami’s family am alive. I know they will come to check up on me. I tried asking how Ami was doing but I was too weak, the oxygen was still placed on my nose down to my moth and also the nurse left before I could even utter any word.

I tried to recall what happened that landed me in this place, because that moment all i could remember was Ami in danger, when a voice interrupted my thinking. It was Ami’s soft and tender voice. I was very happy to see her that she survived it.

“Wow you are alive” she placed her hands on her mouth still in shock “ I can’t believe it, although I know you will come back to me but truth be told I lost all hopes.” Ami uttered with joy written all over her face
I can hear her but can’t speaker because the oxygen was still placed on my nose for breathing. I recalled everything that happened and I was happy to be the hero but also sad.
“ the school has to pray for your quick recovery, even the head of the school did pray. They have organized a fast for your sake” she continued. “ I could have killed myself if you had died.” I was displeased with that her words but I couldn’t say anything.

I was indeed pleased with what they did for me. I know they see me as their hero but what I thank God for is that my foolishness did not ruined me. Because of that single act I could have been dead. While she was still talking I went back to sleep everything that happened next I did not know again.

When I regained consciousness I saw Ami’s family, standing at my front and also the oxygen was removed. I was breathing normally without the help of the oxygen again. When I turned to my right I saw fruits and provision ( used for making tea) on the desk close to my bed.
“welcome back my son, the doctor said we can come and see you now, but he earned us that we should be brief as possible.” said Ahuja.

I was just asking myself why the welcome back did I go on a journey?.
“did you know the doctors have declared you dead, but after the prayers of Ami and the whole students you came back to life” said Uzma wearing a big smile. “ thank you for fulfilling your promise.” Tears rolled down on her cheeks.
I nodded slowly accepting her appreciation.

“Thank you for saving my granddaughter, thank you for everything” Ahuja uttered robbing his eyes.
Gosh this home is full of emotional people I swear so I said in my mind.
I tried seating straight on the hospital bed but can’t I struggled but all my effort was in vain. I then have to receive a helping hand from Ami, she make me to relax back on the wall behind.

“Thank you for your care, and love toward me” I said slowly.
“ its nothing” Ahuja uttered “ we are the one that suppose to thank you for saving Ami”
Ami sat beside me on the bed, she place my right hand on her palms.
“ I thought I have lost you” she said with a sad countenance.
“I will never leave you no matter what because I….” I paused pretended as if my body was paining me.
“ you what?” She ask curiously ignoring my pretense as if she knew I was pretending.

“i….” I was interrupted by Krishna entrance into the room.
Out of excitement Krishna hugged me. I felt a little pain but na woman hug it will go away.
“Thank god you are alive. All hail Krishna the god of love, protection” Krishna uttered.

I was not happy with what she said but I didn’t retaliate. I just kept my cool. My religion is not that of Hinduism but Christianity. For my survival everyone prayed to the god they believe but I know it was God that brought me back to life.
“ we thank God” I said slowly.
“ did you know we have lost you” Krishna uttered
“ I was informed about that” I said.

Ami and the family member who came to see me went outside for Krishna and I to chat.
“ who was behind the chaos?” I asked
“ you should ask Ahuja” Krishna uttered
I was puzzled so I ask “ what did you mean by that?”
“from the news, it is Ahuja enemy that launched the attack” said Krishna “ this is just a little tip, they are coming for more according to the news.”

I thought the war has ended but it was just starting Jesus what kind of trouble is this?, This was the questions that came to my mind.
“ Sania is working for them” Krishna uttered
“how did you know that?” I asked.
“I over heard Ansh on the phone” said Krishna.

To me I think Sania is not the one doing this, she is in prison. The puzzled in my mind seems unsolvable. Who is the man that have said that Ahuja family will not live. Maybe this is the reason I came to India. I was brought back to reality when Krishna said “ what are you thinking about”.

“Nothing” I replied
The doctor came in and asked Krishna to leave that he wants to run some check ups on me. I had to lay down with the help of Krishna and the nurse that followed the doctor.

After the check up the doctor concluded that I need enough rest, in 3 days time I will be discharged.
I requested that Ami should come in. The doctor although insisted that I needed enough rest but I persistently said that “ I want to speak with Ami.”

The doctor was helpless, he had no choice but to grant my wish.
Ami came in and sat beside me. Ami helped me to seat up proper, leaving me in my normal position before the doctor came.

“ Ami I want to asked” I said
“ asked, but know you are not too strong for all this” she said
“ that won’t be a problem” I said “ please tell me who want to kill your grandfather?”

“ I am sorry you have been dragged into this” she said
“ am not complaining” I said
“ since you came your stay in India hasn’t been good” she said
“ that’s not my question, answer me and stop being concern with my stay in India” I said in a low tone.
“okay, i don’t know who want to kill him, but all I know is that he has a lot of enemies” she said.

“okay if that is the case, who is the enemy within” I said
“ what did you mean by enemy within?” she asked
“ if an outside wants to get you, they will use someone close to you. Someone close to us is the one linking our secret to them. Someone is planning something in the family” I said
“ you are right but please get well first” she diverted the talk.
“okay as you wish” I said
“ we will talk more when you are home, for now get some rest” she said.

I nodded my head signifying okay. I can see that my words got her. Her countenance showed it all.
She laid me down on the bed again for me to rest before leaving me. I didn’t ask her about Sania as she is already stressed out.
