I have tried on several occasions to make her know that even though I was under compulsion to marry her, because of the agreement her father and my father reached long before we became old enough to tell what it meant to be romantically involved, I didn’t like the fact that she was more or less an inanimate object when I needed useful contributions to help me make important decisions.
Mirabel was born as an only child to her parents and since her father and my father were friends and business partners,her father, a major shareholder of Toshteck Limited, transferred his shares to her on her 24th birthday, making her the second largest shareholder in the company.

I tried again to understand my father’s sentiments and began to make efforts to love the Mirabel, who was already head over heels in love with me, but the more I tried to see how I could make her develop herself, the more she made me see how futile the attempt was.
My father got himself another wife barely two years after my mother passed on, and without warning, he too became bedridden with a terrible stroke after about a year of his marriage to that woman.
She took over the affairs of Toshteck Limited because my father had become very obstinate about my supposed marriage with Mirabel and wouldn’t let.me come anywhere close to him, until I did what he wanted.
I watched as this woman who seemed to be on a mission to wreck the company, plundered the organization, buying shares behind my back, and nearly taking over the company, until I did the one thing my father wanted me to do, before he could hand over the company to me.
I organized an elaborate engagement party, and got Mirabel officially engaged.
This made my father officially transfer his shares to me, and gave me the power to resume as the CEO of Toshteck Limited.
My first assignment was to kick that woman out of Toshteck Limited after I found out about her alliance with Namenda Holdings, but I needed Mirabel’s shares to do what I had to do.
And so, I chose to love her the way she was, explaining things to her like she was in kindergarten, but that night, I wanted to chill with her to forget Sasha, only for her questions and reactions to keep outlining the sharp contrast between her and Sasha.
She noticed I was down, and in her own way, she felt the only way to get me happy and bubbling again was turning me on.
