They’re all in the living room presently.

Lyric is eating from a bowl of ice cream while Freddy and Piper ate from a bowl of popcorn.

Diva is sitting on the ground, resting her head on the table.

Jazzy is behind her, worried just like her.

“Are you still thinking about Vee?” Freddy suddenly asked.

“I believe he’d come around and open up to you when he wants to, maybe he’s not ready yet” Piper said.

“I believe that too, but I’m just curious, Vee used to hate smokes from cigars, and now he does cigars? It’s f**king disturbing” Diva replied.

“I understand how you feel eonni, but it’s still same answer, he needs time” Lyric said, looking cute with ice cream all-over her lips.

“Cutie, come here” Diva smiled, wiping her lips with her thumb which she licked immediately.

Lyric phone buzzed immediately, and her eyes widened.

“I need to use the restroom!” She quickly said, rushing off.

“Y’all don’t notice the changes in Lyric these days?” Freddy said.

“Like rushing to the restroom when she gets a call or text?” Piper replied.

“Yeah, but maybe she needs privacy for now, but I’m sure it’s a boy” Piper said, and Freddy laughed.

“Jazzy you’ve not been saying anything” Piper noticed, and he sighed.

“I’m fine”

He entered his room, and the rest retired to their rooms too including Diva who’s still thinking hard.

It didn’t take long for the rest of the girls to fall asleep, but for Diva, it was impossible.

An hour after she came in, cramps got a hold of her, and she began rolling in bed, holding her tummy so tight.

In just ten minutes, sweat covered her, and it got worse when the weather outside became cool, affecting her condition.

In less than two minutes, rain began falling, and she had to struggle out of bed and wear something thick.

She left the bedroom immediately, still holding her stomach tight as she she walked into the living room, meeting Jazzy surprisingly.

He’s sitting on the couch alone, staring into space, but he stood immediately she showed up

“Diva, are you ok?” He asked when she saw her squeezed face, her lips are turning pale too, and the sweat is still on her face.

“I’m… I’ve got cramps” she replied, and he walked to her.

“Is it bad? Does it come monthly?” He asked.

“No, it comes sometimes and wouldn’t come sometimes” she replied with difficulty as she walked to the couch and lay on it, folding her arms tightly on her tummy again.

“Ahh” she groaned, biting her lip when the pains came again.

“I’ll get you some warm water” Jazzy said and rushed to the kitchen.

He placed the needed amount of water on fire and waited for just two minutes, but just as he was about to bring it down, the pot slipped and fell from him, making all the water pour on his foot.

“F**k!” He spat, raising up the leg as it stung.

That part got red immediately and swelled up, but he had to ignore the pains and place another pot of water on fire.

He made it warm for one and a half minute this time, and he poured it in a cup to the living room.

Diva was already in tears when he arrived, and he had to help her up and wipe her tears first before making her drink some of the water.

She gulped it down and went back on the couch. It did nothing, the pains persisted, so she began crying slowly again.

Jazzy suddenly raised her hoodie from her tummy, and she looked at him with her red eyes.

“What are you doing?” She asked weakly.

“Massage helps like I heard” he said and began massaging the tummy slowly, starting from the sides of her tummy to the tummy around her bellybutton, then he started singing a lullaby.

“Fall asleep beauty, the night is falling”
“Sleep in my arms, I’ll watch you sleep”
“I promise to protect you throughout the night”
“We’ll watch the morning rise together tommorow… Fall asleep, sleeping beauty”

Diva smiled lightly when he finished.

“What was that?” She whispered.

“Dad loves singing that for my mum, I memorized it somehow” he replied as he kept massaging her tummy

“It’s soothing somehow, can you sing again?” She replied, and he began singing again, massaging along with it.

That really helped more than he expected, cos she slept off after he sang it for the fifth time.

He stopped the massage and covered her tummy, then he went in and brought a duvet to cover her with.

He was still covering her when her phone buzzed in her hoodie pocket, and he raised the duvet to take the phone.

He put on the screen to see she has several unread texts from Vee, and when he saw that she saved his name as, he stopped to stare for a while.

“My Vee?” He muttered.

He has obviously sent tons of messages, but she hasn’t replied, and she missed calls from him already.

He doesn’t know her password, he’d have checked, but he saw the preview of the message he sent just now.

• I’ll continue staying outside till you come out and talk to me…

His eyes widened immediately.

WFT! It’s raining!

He dropped the phone and went to the door immediately.

He opened it and met Vee outside for real, he’s so wet from the rain.

“What the hell!” He gasped shockingly, and Vee smiled weakly, shaking badly in the rain.

“Please tell her to come see me” he muttered.
