So many questions and thought circulate my head seeking for answer, seeking for who to answer all the questions and explain every thought but there was none. A fresh set of tears began dripping from my eyes, I cried to the extent that I don’t know when I slept off.
I woke up the next day, checked the time which was almost ten o’clock in the morning. I stood up from the bed feeling weak and hungry. Bathing before stepping out of my room has become a part of me so I move to the bathroom wash myself and come out after I was done and dressed up getting ready to go meet my brothers.
On opening my room do I could hear some voices in our sitting room which one of the voice was that of my uncle. Hearing his voice filled my heart with hatred and anger, I felt like strangling him to death, I felt like stabbing him in the chest to death.
I was still standing holding my door when I saw Emmanuel coming toward me which I knew he was coming to call me to go greet my uncle in the sitting room.
Samuel, what kept you so long in your room? and before I forget senior Daniel said that you should come and greet uncle Edward. Emma said on reaching me .
I’m not going down now, and what is uncle Edward doing here? Who called him?, And Who are the people in the sitting room?
