💁🧏 Daughter Of A Single Mother Chapter Three:

What are you trying to do Sir?
You’re now like a father to me!!!
Please sir don’t do this to me Angel begged Mr Ikenna who has already pulled off his shirt and tried holding her.

Angel was still young and hasn’t known a man yet. she can’t let Mr Ikenna defile her. Only the fright of it scares her. So she bit him on his naked stomach. Mr Ikenna pushed her away. She stood up and took to her heels.

She opened the door and ran out of the house and the compound. Angel didn’t know well the consequences of what she was doing. She never thought of where she will stay if she ran away. She just wanted to flee from Mr Ikenna who was chasing after her.

Mr Ikenna chased her till she left the building, he stopped and went back . He didn’t know what came over him and what he will tell his wife happened to Angel.

Angel ran as fast as she could out of the house at that ungodly hour. Where she was going to she didn’t know. Where she will get her self the next morning she wasn’t sure. She just kept on running as far as her legs could carry her with tears falling as rain from her cheeks.

She ran till she couldn’t anymore. It was late, she didn’t know who to go to for help at that particular time as all men have proven to be the same..

Angel’s only thought was where she will lay her head till the next day. She saw an uncompleted building a distant away and started walking towards it. At least she can rest there and think about her life tomorrow.

The thoughts of how she lost her mum filled her head. The very night her mum left her without warning. From that night she knew that survival in this world is a game of the fittest.

As she kept walking buried in the grave of her thoughts and the river of her tears.

She noticed, ever since she has been walking it seems some one has been following her, no they were two she confirmed. She kept observing and saw they were dressed in yellow and looked like cultists. And they were closing in behind her.

Why was she being followed? Angel thought as she tried wiping off her tears.

    What if they are rapists?
Or thieves? But what will they steal from her?
What if they were sent by ritualists?
    What if they are kidnappers?

Fear gripped Angel as the thoughts of being hurt by those following her filled her head. So she increased her pace. Angel being smart crossed the main road just to confirm if truly they were following her. To her amazement they also crossed over to the other side with her .

It dawned on Angel that those guys were following after her. Even though she was tired, she didn’t know where strength emerged from and she picked a race.

As she ran, she kept on calling on to her dead mother with tears flowing down her cheeks. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her.

Angel didn’t run far before they caught up with her. They were huge and muscular, with bears like convicts. They were mean and weren’t paying attention to her plea.

They carried her into the bush nearby. They were rapists looking for young unfortunate girls to satisfy there urge with.

Gun shots were heard and the two guys left Angel and ran away. Angel was still on the ground trying to zip back her trousers and arrange her clothes the guys have torn already.

Flashes of touch light hit her face, she tried making a shade with her hands . As they men with the touchlight got closer. Their attire looked like that of security men.

Angel stood up and tried running away and they held her and told her not to be afraid, they won’t let any harm befall her. They brought her out of the bush path.

Angel saw two Jeeps parked and it seemed like those men who rescued her were part of the convoy. They took her to a man who was seated in the car.

That was Chief Obilor. Chief Obilor was on his way back with his security men when his men told him about the men chasing a little girl. So he askedd
them to go for her rescue.

He’s not one known for such kind gesture. It was as if something had pushed him to lend a helping hand.

Angel thanked Chief Obilor for saving her from the hands of those thugs.
What is your name? Chief Obilor asked.

M..y my name..e isss Angel she replied dragging her words like as stammerer as she pulls her clothes up to wipe her tears.

She didn’t know if she was to be happy Chief Obilor rescued from those rapist or to feel sad that the help came from another man who may ask for the same thing from her. The world has taught her a great lesson at such a tender age.

So tell me Angel what are you doing out by this time of the night?
    Where are you parents?
Where are you living? Chief Obilor inquired

But Angel had no answer to those questions..

The only answer she gave chief Obilor were tears flowing from her cheeks as she cried out a bucket.

    🧑‍🍼 Single Mother Part One:

“Mummy, come and see Taiwo. He is about to jump inside the well.” Kehinde shouted as she ran to where I was.

“Ehen! Taiwo mi, about to do what?” I asked as I dropped what I was doing and ran to the backyard.

On getting there, I passed out when I found my son inside the well. My sharp daughter brought me back to life with her cry. Her cry drew many people’s attention.

To cut the whole long story short, a man was able to bring him out of the well, unfortunately he was unconscious. A nurse was called upon by a man immediately. She came and brought him back to life.

I was called all sort of names. They told me I was careless to have allowed him to enter the well. I was really accused. I managed to calm myself because it was as if I should kill the boy for such an embarrasement he brought to my life.

As if one of the women read my mind. She told me not to be harsh on the boy. She told me to deal with him with love so that he could voice out the reason behind his action.

“I don’t want to know what made him do such a thing. He is in hot soup.” I said in annoyance.

“If you know you cannot train a child, give him to me to train since I am still looking for the fruit of the womb rather than killing him.” Another woman said.

I didn’t say anything. After some minutes, everyone left. Before they left, I appreciated them for coming to my aid.

When my children and I went back to our room, I brought out my cane and flogged the hell out of Taiwo.

” Mummy, you are a wicked woman. I want you to beat me to death. I want to die.” Taiwo said in tears.

    I was speechless.

“Mummy, I also want to die.” Kehinde said. She said that in tears.

    I became more confused.

I couldn’t help but sit on the floor to process things well in my mind.

I broke down in tears. Looking at their faces, I wept uncontrollably.

Mother couldn’t console her children. The children couldn’t console their mother.

We were all lost in our different worlds.

    What actually happened?

🤱 How I Became A Single Mother Chapter Four:
    .
    🧡 ARIKE 🧡
    .

When I got there, I explained everything to him, I told him what his family said and my daughter is going to one year old, that when are is family coming, and the brother said he was going to do something about it, and I said okay, I would be very glad…. even when I got home he spoke with my mom and assured her, that everything will come to normal and they were going to come, see her and i was really happy

But to cut the long story short, they did not come, and I did not bother to call him because things were already changing between tobi and I, even worse than before because the feelings were dying slowly, and my family were turning their backs against me, each time I called Tobi to ask he would tell me, his family can’t come because it is too rough and all sorts of silly excuses, and I just had to let them be though I wasn’t happy at all..

There used to be this guy, my friend.. and to God who made me, the guy never asked me out.. and Tobi has my Facebook password and all my log in details, I gave him then because he was doubting me, and he did not see any traces of me cheating or something

That guy, he is a writer, and the reason why I liked him is because he is a writer, though he doesn’t write stories like Wonu, he is a poet writer, he writes poems, and that period it was close to Tobi’s birthday and I told that guy that I want him he was going to help me write an episple for someone’s birthday, someone very special and I gave him hints and he agreed..

From there the guy and I started having a good conversation and there was nothing like I love you, or I miss you in our conversation just normal chats

When he checked my messages and saw our chats he was angry and he faced the guy, and he was like did you know that, you are talking to my wife, and that has a four months old daughter.. and I was like, I thought you said you can’t marry me 🤷..

And I never told the guy that I have a child, and that’s because I can’t just meet you for the first time and start telling you, I have a daughter, am occupied, am taken, am this am that, though having a child isn’t a disease but I don’t like telling my story anyhow, because I don’t know the type of person you are, and I don’t know the guy that much, but Tobi went ahead to cast me, when the guy got to know I have a child he was angry and was like why didn’t you tell me..
