While everyone chose to go out sightseeing, she had stayed indoor with Darren playing with with him and they’ve been on it for a while now until he fell asleep.

“Go pack your things Darren, we are leaving” Judy said.

They are both seated at the VIP section waiting for Graham and Romeo.

Natalie read through it and toss it aside, angry at whatever she read there.

Natalie pull out her phone to make a call to Travis who answer on the third ring.

“So, are you with Judy?” Natalie ask, also leaving the restaurant.

Though it took her sometime and thanks to the help of one of the staff, Natalie found Graham.

She met him outside the gym, apparently, he had gone there looking for Judy.

“It is my business. I won’t stay still and watch the girl I love go after a guy who isn’t for her. He has his own Judy and if she return someday, that will be the end for you. Have you thought of that?” Travis ask.

“I have! You have no idea how guilty I feel whenever I see Graham, so stop acting like a know it all!” She yell at him only for him to seize her arm.

“End it with him, Judy! End it or I will tell him the truth” he said looking like a maniac.

“Let go of me, Travis. You are hurting me” Judy cry out but he didn’t let her go, instead Graham chose that moment to show up, pushing Travis away.

“You bastard!” Graham rasp, shielding Judy behind him.

“Stay out of this Graham. This is between me and Judy” Travis said.

“Sorry dude but there’s no way am letting you get close to my girlfriend. Stay the hell away from her, you’ve been warn” Graham said, taking hold of Judy to pull her along.

“Do I have to say it here, Judy! Do you want me to tell him, here! If you don’t want that then do the right thing, don’t turn me into a monster!” Travis yell after her and that made Judy stop.

“Judy” Graham call and she stared at him with sad eyes.

She can’t let Travis tell him the truth, he doesn’t deserve to find out this way… She thought pulling away from him.

“Go away, Graham” she said softly.

“What?”

“Go away. I can take care of myself, you don’t need to meddle neither do you have to act like my boyfriend” Judy said, trying to hurt him.

“Is this you choosing him over me?” Graham ask.

Judy was still watching the girls that she fail to notice the ball coming towards her until it hit her on the head.

“Let me see” he said, moving close to her to inspect her forehead.

“Whatever just listen to me and stay away. Am not the right girl for you, am not” Juliet said giving in to sleep and shutting her eyes.

Romeo gave her a kiss on the forehead and left the bedroom.

He got back to the sitting room to see Graham and Judy playing a game of cards and not wanting to be a bother, he left.

“Yes! Finally you lose. I get to flick your head” Graham said.

“Why did you do that? Is kissing me the way for you to get back this trip money?” Judy lash out, trying to hide her real feeling.

“I don’t intend to collect any trip money from you. You are my guest, I invited you here so never think that again” Graham said.

“Go away Graham” she said wanting to be alone so she can think.

“But you said you are going to court me again. Shouldn’t you do that before kissing me?” Judy ask and that got him moving towards her.

“Kissing is part of courting too. I know I promise to do it slowly but I can’t, my feelings just seem to do the thinking when am close to you” he said, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her towards him.

“I want to kiss you Judy, I really really want to” he said leaning towards her and Judy couldn’t stop him since she also want him to kiss her.

The ringing of the doorbell ended it all and Darren came in followed by Clarissa.

“We are here! ”

“But why? Why will you take us on a trip? I thought I made things clear to you yesterday” Judy said.

“You did but….can we go talk in the room” Graham said.

“Am going no where, you should say whatever you have to…. What are you doing? Put me down!” Judy hell when Graham lifted her by the waist and straight into a room to give them privacy.

“She should cause you two didn’t think of our opinion before embarking on your plan” Juliet reply, going back to her seat while Romeo followed.

“A reason which is for you alone. If you like us as you’ve claim then you should have think things through before making this decision” Juliet said, turning away from him to put on the head set curtsey of the plane.

Travis was about going after her when Darren stop him.

“Tell me why we argued? I don’t remember the reason” he said.

Judy was about to speak when she change her mind…instead of telling him that the real Judy and him fought because she was pursuing her dream and leaving for China she decided to change it.

“We reason we argued is because we both fell out of love. We decided to part ways when you had the fall” Judy lied, hoping he’d believe her.

“Who brought up the break up topic first?” Graham ask.

“You. Apparently you found someone else” she continued with her lie.

“So I broke your heart?” He said making her feel miserable for lying to him.

But it’s better to tell him this lie than to tell him she’s not Judy and also, with this new lie of hers, he will let her be.

“You didn’t really break my heart since I no longer love you” she carried on with the lie.

“The fall and my memory being erase made me think that you and I were still a couple. It’s the reason why you’ve been distant with me” he said, a sad look on his face.

“Yes. Now that you know the truth I hope you understand me when I say that we should keep our distance. After all it’s over between us” she said and he gave a slow nod.

“I will get my aunt’s chauffeur to take you home” he said, leaving the room while Judy kept telling herself that it’s the best thing for everyone most especially for him.

Juliet didn’t want things between them getting personal and so, she change the subject.

She move towards a frame and pick it up.

“Have always wanted to travel around the world and I hope I do it someday” she said wondering why she was talking to him with ease when she always freeze off everyone else.

And that was all Juliet need to tell him every where she wants to go.

“Hope am not boring you?” She ask after realizing she has been talking for long.

Moving toward some CDs which he had pile on a shelf.

“You must like listening to music” she said checking them out until she came across one.

The song Believer began to sound out through the speaker as Romeo began to dance.

Juliet couldn’t hold back her laughter as she watch him.

“Common! I did it well, an applause will be great” he said.

“More like a boo….you didn’t do it right”

“Oh really? How about you correct me cause if I remember, this is the correct choreography to the song” he said, dancing to the rhythm of the music.

“Am going to show you and that’s because I can’t continue to watch your horrid dance ” she said and Romeo went to seat on his bed so he can get a good view of her.

Juliet remember the choreography and so she did the dance perfectly.

“See, that’s how to dance to the song” she said, taking a step toward him only to trip on her gown.

Romeo caught her before she could fall on the carpeted floor.

She tried to stand straight but all her effort in doing so only made her move closer to Romeo.

When she realise this, she tried to pull away but Romeo arm curl around her back, holding her still.

He then push some wayward hair off her face, his hand touching her skin, giving her a chance to hear his thought.

The garage door was lock but she could hear Graham voice from inside.

She open the door gently and called his name and immediately, he ran towards her.

“What are you doing here? Your gift isn’t ready yet ” He said, looking flustered.

“My gift?”

“Yes your… You look amazing, beautiful” he said, noticing her outfit.

“Thanks. It’s all thanks to you” she said feeling a bit shy.

“Hope you don’t mind me preparing this.Its just that when i heard you don’t celebrate your birthday, I decided to do something different and…”

“It’s fine. Thanks” she said more aware of his gaze eating everything on her.

“You know you…”

“You mention something about a gift?” She said quickly, moving away when he would have pull her into his arms.

“Yes. I was putting on the ribbon, the finish touch when you came” he said.

“Don’t tell me that this car is my gift?” Judy ask, starring at a brand new SUV.

“It is. I didn’t want to give you my money since I know you will refuse it and so I got you this car, instead ”

“Please, don’t refuse it like you did the day I gave you money at the library”

Judy turn to stare at him the moment he said that.

“How did you remember that I refuse money from you at the library? Has your memory return?” Judy ask.

“Not everything. I only remember arguing with you about money in the library”

“And?”

“And nothing else. No matter how much I try, I can’t recall a thing after or before that moment” he said, looking very suspicious.

Judy stared at him in silence, wondering if he’s telling the truth or lying or if it has been a whole game from the begining.

What if he never lost his memory? What if he’s just pretending and remember it all? What if he’s just pretending to have amnesia just so he can use her to get back at his real girlfriend?

This thoughts kept running through Judy’s head until someone took hold of her hand.

Judy stared at Graham who was smiling down at her.

“Since you don’t like this gift, am sure you will like this one, come with me” he said, pulling her out of the garage.

“Where are we going? The dress isn’t meant for walking far?” Judy said when he walk through the garden with her.

“Then I will carry you” he said and before she could stop him, he had her in his arms.

For a while, they both stood still, watching each other in silence, mesmerized by each other eyes.

“You really do look beautiful tonight” he said softly and lean in for a kiss but Judy move away and his lips landed on her cheek.

“Alright, let’s go see your other present” he said, walking with her out through the gate just as car pull to a halt.

He put her down just as the car door open and her mother and Juliet got out of it, both dress in an evening ball gown.

“Thought you’d want to see them before your birthday end” Graham whispered behind her.

“Happy birthday sweetie” Silvia Roberts said, giving Judy a hug.

“When Graham came to see me, I berated myself cause I totally forgot about your birthday, am sorry sweetie” Silvia said hugging a teary eye Judy.

“I understand mom. I know that aside from celebrating my birthday today, we also celebrate something else which….”

“You don’t have to justify my action. No matter what, I should have been the first to wish you a happy birthday. Happy birthday sweetie and am quite surprise by him. Is he your boyfriend?” Silvia ask, both of them taking a peek at Graham who was talking to Juliet.

“About that mom, I need….”

“He’s a nice boy and I believe that he loves you” Silvia said, interrupting her.

It isn’t me he loves but Judy, his real girlfriend….Judy thought as Graham came to pull her mother away.

“So,how long have you been dating him? You never told me anything” Juliet accuse.

“It all just happen so fast. I will need to explain everything to you later and aren’t you going to wish me?”

“Happy birthday sis and you should know that I only dress up this way for you to know how sorry I am for not remembering your birthday” Juliet said which made her smile.

“Err… I need you to do something for me Juliet, I need you to help me use your power on someone. I need to know if he’s lying or telling the truth”

“Who might this be?”

“Graham Stone”

“Your boyfriend ” Juliet said just as the gate open and someone very familiar came out.

“Juliet” Romeo called.

“Romeo, What are you doing here?” Juliet said in return.

“You two know each other?” Judy and Graham ask at the same time.

“I have no intention of doing that but instead, I want you to do it yourself” he said.

“And what if I tell you that I can’t tell Graham the truth?”

“Why? Why can’t you?” He demanded.

“It’s a private issue which….”

“You can’t keep on pretending to be his girlfriend Judy!” Travis said, cutting her off.

“I….why are you concerning yourself with it? Ever since I know you, we’ve never spoken to each other and then suddenly here you are telling me what to do? What do you want from me?” Judy demanded.

“I want…I want the best thing for you”

“I doubt that. You are Natalie’s brother and am sure that once you leave here, you are going to show her that picture and….”

“Am not like that!” He rasp out, pulling her by the arm.

“Yeah, I might be like that with everyone else but certainly not with you. I wouldn’t harm a hair on your head” he said, his arms sliding around her waist while be nestle against her neck.

Judy pulled away from him, almost pushing him off. She ran towards the door and had just unlock it when she heard him say

“Tell him the truth Judy, I don’t like seeing you with Graham”

Without giving him a reply, she left the ladies, she made a turn down the hall to see Darren waiting for her.

“What’s wrong? You look shaken up” Darren said worriedly.

“He knows. Travis knows the truth, I need to speak to Nina, we need to tell Graham the truth before he hears it from someone else ” Judy said.

“Okay, you leave and I will get permission for you” Darren said as she ran off.

“How on earth did that nosy twin know the truth” Darren muttered, heading to the staff room.

“We need to tell Graham the truth” Judy said.

“You know we can’t, remember the doctor words” Nina, Graham aunt said.

“I do but if he doesn’t hear the truth from us then things will be much worse”

“Isn’t there a way we can keep Travis quiet? How about we offer him money?” Nina offered and Judy shook her head.

“The Anderson aren’t lacking in money and besides Travis is just like….his sister” Judy said, remembering what Travis said to her.

“Anyway, if he tells Graham the truth then it will cause more harm, it’s best we tell him ourselves” Judy added and reluctantly Nina agreed.

A message pop into her phone and after reading, she gave Judy a mischievous look which Judy didn’t notice since she was deep in thought.

“How about we go home and tell him together. He will be back from school already” Nina said and together they left the restaurant.

Still in her uniform, Judy got out of Nina’s car, her mouth widening when she saw how huge the Stone mansion is.

“It’s best you close your mouth, you wouldn’t want your birthday pictures coming out bad” Nina said suddenly and Judy gave her a surprise look.

“How did you know it’s my birthday?” Judy ask.

“Well, I found out from a little birdie. Anyway, happy birthday and am a little upset that you didn’t say a thing about it” Nina said, giving her a hug.

“That’s because I totally forgot. I hardly celebrate my birthday and everyone around me hardly notice that it’s my birthday, anyway thanks” Judy said, smiling at her.

“You mention something about birthday pictures? What do you mean by that?” Judy ask when they got to the front door.

“How about finding out yourself” Nina said opening the door and inside the mansion stood a lot of people all screaming a happy birthday her way.

“What is going on?” Judy ask as Darren approach her.

“Happy birthday sweetie. Surprise, right? Well, Graham found out today is your birthday and prepared all this for you. He forced me not to say a word” Darren explain.

“I found out in the last minute. He found out you were with me and told me to bring you here” Nina explain.

“But about what we discuss earlier….”

“For now, let’s just celebrate your birthday. We will find a chance to tell him later” Nina said.

“Okay girl, the stylist are upstairs to get you into something good” Darren said, pushing her upstairs.

In half an hour, the stylist transform her from a gawky teenager to a ravishing beauty.

“You know, you will look more beautiful if you smile” Darren said checking his friend out.

“You know I can’t, there is Travis and….”

“Nina has told you already. Celebrate for a while and think about telling Graham the truth later. Now let’s go party”

They got back downstairs and there was no sign of Graham.

“A lot of people came” Judy mutter.

“Who will want to miss a Graham Stone party? Even if they hate you, they’d do anything to be at one of his parties. I can see Natalie sulking from where she stood, bet she’s jealous” Darren said.

Judy stared at Natalie to see her starring back at her with hatred, Judy look away only to see Travis standing alone, watching her.

She didn’t realize he will be here? She thought as he begin to make way towards her.

“Have you seen Graham?” Judy ask.

“He’s at the garage…preparing your… she’s gone” Darren mutter when Judy dash out of the house.

She had no idea where the garage was but she kept going, she didn’t want Travis catching up with her, she didn’t want to talk to him.

Somehow, she ask for direction from one of the servants who showed her the way.
