I am going to be leaving soon cuz I have an appointment to catch up with”. He said checking his wrists watch for time.

I stood there confused, still trying to understand what was going.

Caleb hushed out of the apartment for a meeting, I only heard when his car left the front of the house, I didn’t see the car driving out of the estate way.

I went outside to confirm if it was true that he didn’t leave, or my mind was playing tricks on me, truthfully I didn’t see the car again.

I only sighted the exact car in the next compound of the same street in the estate.

I did not reason far, of course, there were so many rich people there, so they could all afford the same car if they wanted to.

I went back to the apartment to check around, and figure out what to fix and where to fix them.

Honestly I didn’t have much money, which was the more reason I wanted just a mini flat. But I was happy, a good Samaritan came to my aid.

I got back to work some few hours later, and I couldn’t hold the joy to myself.

I explained to Liberty and other of my colleagues how I got the new apartment and the were so happy for me.

They all congratulated me and some prayed.

I gave some of them my address and they promised to check up on me, especially Libety, who volunteered to come help me fix up somethings.

The next Monday came, I told Caleb I was going to move into my new apartment, for knowledge’s sake.

I booked an Uber to pack the little things I had in my old place which was my place of work.

After a few moments I was done and the Uber man started the trip.

I got to my new apartment only to find Caleb sitting outside my new house crossing his legs and was really focused on his phone.

I became confused as I alighted from the car and walked up to him.

He raised his eyes to look at me with his sweet smile as usual.

I was stung by it, but I refused to be fooled, I took a deep breath and exhaled, and as I was about to speak, he shut me down by speaking first.

“Hi Deborah” he said, this time around producing a unique smile.

” Hi Caleb, what are you doing here? I asked him frantically

” I came to know how you will settle and prolly help out with some things”. He added.

” But you could have at least let me know”. I said.

” That’s because you would have objected, so to avoid that, I made my way here”. He said carelessly.

I stood there stupefied, words became stones in my mouth that I suddenly couldn’t let out.

His amazing charisma captured my brain and the desire to have him was raining heavenly in my mind.

I quietly left him and went back to settle the Uber rider who kept murmuring and honking for me to notice.

Caleb helped me to fix some things in my room and showed me the spaces to fix a particular thing to beautify the place, he literally set up everything and I didn’t have to pay anyone to fix it.

After everything, he waited patiently for me to finish up some things. I went in to wash the bathroom so he could at least take his bath before leaving.

Moments later I was done, I went back to inform him that I was done with the bathroom and even pleaded with him to manage my little soap, which was not even up to his ”rich man hygiene” type.

He kept quiet and didn’t say anything to me, instead he looked me in the eyes until I was lost in thoughts.

I imagined him and all his charisma in my head that I didn’t know myself, the only time I regained my senses was when he grabbed me on the waist and kissed me slowly.

I was fully in for it this time, I was ready to have him even for once at that moment, he absolutely knew the right places to touch in a woman’s body that could make her aroused.

He placed his hand on my butt and went down slowly, I was on fire and was ready to go down.

Immediately Liberty opened the door and we were both stunned.

Liberty greeted him almost prostrating, I was surprised to see such actions, “someone he barely knows, he is greeting him like they’ve met before”. I mumbled inwardly.

” How are you, what are you doing in this area”? He asked with a cool tone but putting up a little frowned face.

“I am fine sir, I came to check how Debora is doing in her new place sir”. Liberty responded almost fainting.

Caleb left us and went upstairs, while Liberty kept staring at me without a word.

He was shocked to see that the whole place was intact, except for the couches that were yet to be purchased.

Liberty kept looking left and right to see if Caleb was coming before he could ask me something.

I wasn’t too comfortable with that so I had to voice out.

Despite my plea with Liberty to open up on who Caleb was and why he was afraid of him, Liberty kept shaking his head and responding with “nothing”.

Some minutes later, he left, promising to return to check on me another time.

I went upstairs to see Caleb by the window of my room, viewing the environments.

I watched him for some time and when I was about to leave, he called me back. I ran downstairs and went outside of my house confused.

Still thinking of who Caleb was and why I was falling deeply for him.

Caleb called me on the phone to tell me he wanted to leave, I went inside and he made another move to get down with me, but failed as I didn’t accept it but avoided him completely.

Caleb went out of my house, hurt and was all sweaty, he didn’t come with his car, so I was wondering how he will manage to get out of the long estate way.

A few minutes later, I went outside to check, and this time I didn’t see Caleb walking out of the estate way, neither did I see any cap passing that I would say he had ordered an Uber.

I called him on the phone to know if he had arrived, but he sounded so cool and in a very calm environment.

Different thoughts crossed my mind, yet I couldn’t get what was happening.

We ended the call, and I got a text message on my phone.

When I opened it to check, it was Caleb who sent it, “I WANT YOU DEBBIE”!

“This guy is an idiot, he doesn’t even know how to ask a Lady out, his own is to do fine boy, and want to sleep with any lady he sees. I said as I walked inside angrily.

I then replied to his text with ” what is the meaning of I want you Debbie, did they tell you I’m a palliative that everyone wants”.

I typed as fast as I could while rendering insults on Caleb.

I expected to see his replies but it didn’t come. I checked my phone several times for his calls, yet it still didn’t come.

I started feeling really bad, I was moved to apologize but I held myself. ” I can’t stoop low to any man”. I said to myself.

I resumed work two days after and I cut ties with Caleb. I tried my best not to text or call him, and he did the same.

Months later, I was coming to work when I saw Angela, one of my coworkers, dropping from Caleb’s car.

I paused and thought for a while, I then concluded that Caleb is a play boy, and he just wanted to have me and dumb me.

I walked up to Angela and we gisted as we walked down to work together.

I wrote out my house address to her and she looked at it with a surprise face.

many thoughts came through her mind as she couldn’t hold it, but asked “if I was staying in the same estate with her man”.

She further asked how I was able to meet up with the rent and other bills.

She promised to come and see where I was leaving, while walking away Furiously.

I tried to walk up to her, but she didn’t give me attention anymore
