🧏 It’s Not My Fault Episode Eight:

Dozie and Bisola’s parents waited and waited for Bisola’s call but it didn’t come. After spending nine months in Nigeria without getting Bisola’s call, Dozie had to go back to the States as the leadership of the Church he was pastoring was contemplating ordaining another pastor hence, he had to go back and take over his position. While in Nigeria, Dozie threw himself into serious prayers and fasting and God promised him that his wife would come back but before she comes back, he should learn how to manage his home and ministry.

    FIVE YEARS LATER…

Bisola: So guys, your fifth birthday is coming, what do you want me to gift you?

Ayomikun: Mummy, can we go meet our Daddy??

    Bisola: Ayomikunnnnn!

Ayomiposi: but mom, we need to see our dad. Sidney has Mom and Dad, why is our own different?

    Bisola: shut up, will you?

Ayomikun: well then, we don’t want a birthday gift, we don’t even want a birthday party

    Ayomiposi: exactly, mom

Bisola: well then, you guys just lessen my burden.

Two days later, Bisola was attending to a patient when she received a call from the principal of her children’s school that her attention was needed urgently. Bisola treated the patient and then handed him over to a junior nurse before going over to her son’s school. Getting there, she met her boys in the principal’s office alongside another boy who had bruises all over his face.

Principal: So, Madam, your sons would be going on a two weeks suspension for fighting their classmate. And you know how our school works, we don’t tolerate indiscipline.

Bisola: Oh My God! And why will you guys fight in the school?

Ayomikun: Mom, we had no intention to fight but he provoked us by calling us bastards

Ayomiposi: he has been calling us bastards for weeks

Bisola: Ma, please, you need to help me. They can’t be away from school for two weeks, I promise to deal with them.

Principal: I am sorry ma, there is nothing I can do about it.

With unhappiness, Bisola drove her children home thinking of how she would cope with them being away from school for two weeks knowing fully well that her job is demanding. Getting home, Bisola made them knee with the intention to discipline them but their outburst surprised her.

Bisola: Look out how you both disgraced yourselves in the school, is that how children of God behave?

Ayomiposi: But mom, if our Dad lives with us, Junior won’t have called us bastards

Ayomikun: Mom, are we truly bastards? Do we have a father?

Bisola: pick your school bags and get out of my sight

After the twins left for their rooms, Bisola burst into tears. She left Nigeria for Ghana just to find healing but her children are not making it easier for her. The hospital she worked with opened a new branch in Ghana and needed workers to help run the hospital, even though her children were just three months old, Bisola volunteered to go, all she wanted was to be free from the hurt in her heart. While on her knee, the Holy Spirit began to speak to her.

Holy Spirit: Maybe its time to go back home

    Bisola: to do what??

Holy Spirit: You can’t keep running away, that’s not how to get healing. Face your fears

Bisola: how will I face it when Dozie isn’t even ready to see or listen to me?

Holy Spirit: Did you speak out? You were the one dying in silence. Communication is important in every relationship, you need to tell your partner how you feel about an issue. When Dozie started going on a long journey, you kept quiet about it.

Bisola: I felt he should know

🧏 The Return Of Tamar Episode Four:

Tamar’s pregnancy and presence in their home made Kunbi and Femi drift apart in no time. It got to the point where Kunbi didn’t feel anything for her husband, she even began to sleep in her son’s room because Femi’s presence and appearance disgust her so much.

Even when the Holy Spirit was trying to speak to Kunbi, she turned a deaf ear as she felt disappointed that God would allow her to experience such heartbreak. She stopped attending church and focused on her business. She sells female and children’s wear wholesale, a business that Femi established for her a year after their wedding and it has made her a millionaire.

Tamar just finished taking her bath when she heard her cell phone ring, she picked it up and discovered it was her best friend and roommate.

Tamar: Hello Juliet, how have you been?

Juliet: When are you coming back home?

Tamar: to do what?? I am now in my husband’s house abeg

Juliet: Tamar, you and I know that pregnancy isn’t for Femi, so, stop this nonsense.

Tamar: hold it right there, I won’t let you ruin my plans

Juliet: I understand that he hurt you so much but why not leave vengeance for God?

Tamar: God is delaying. My enemy is prospering while I can’t heal

Juliet: God can heal you only if you let Him, vengeance will only cause more problems.

Tamar: My mind is made up, I am going to destroy everything Femi has.

Juliet: Hmmm, I hope you won’t regret this. Meanwhile, Joe has been asking after you, you should tell him that you are carrying his child. That guy loves you so much

Tamar: enough of this Juliet, can you just let me be?

Juliet: fine! But remember that Jesus loves you so much.

    Tamar: I know

Tamar end the call angrily and began to pace the room, she was determined to bring Femi down for what he did to her years back. She laughed wickedly as she remembered her next line of action, she could not wait to watch Femi die a painful death. She was ready to destroy everything he has including his wife and child.

Kunbi was watching TV with her son when she received a call from one of her top customers who needed a very expensive wear. Since Femi was In the house, Kunbi left her son with him and went to attend to her customer. She was done some hours later and went back home. As she got closer to the house, she began to have a feeling that something wasn’t right, she muttered a quick prayer of mercy and drove into the compound.

As she got into the sitting room, she saw her son in a pool of blood. She ran to check if he was breathing only to find him dead, not knowing what next to do, Kunbi let out a deep scream. At that point, Femi walked into the house with a plate of ice cream in his hands. He was also shocked to see his son in a pool of blood. The little boy had earlier requested that his father buy him a bowl of ice cream and since Tamar was in the house, Femi left the boy and quickly went to buy it.

Femi ran to his son and began to call his name. At that moment, Tamar came out and smiled wickedly telling Femi that she just started with him. Kunbi couldn’t bear it again slumped while Femi let out a scream that shook the foundation of the whole house. It was at that moment, he realized that his past action is back to haunt him.

Femi called his mom and explained things to her, he called a neighbor to help stat with his wife while he quickly rush his son to the hospital to see if anything could be done to help bring him back to life but upon getting to the hospital, his son was pronounced dead.

Mrs. Oyewole was shocked to hear all that has been happening to her son and to think he never told her anything. She looked at the inconsolable Kunbi and felt deep pity for her, she wished she could lay her hands on Tamar but she fled from the house before her arrival.
