Ever since a physical description of the assailant had hit the airwaves, people had been calling in with fake sightings and dead-end leads. First the Headlines of Sarah Hales declared dead was cleared out and Chin’s jobs was to follow them up, no matter how unlikely.

“I had just come in from the conference hall” She said. Sarah looked at Chin then Dominic.

“What did he say to you?” Sarah asked.

Ms. Birnbaum massaged her brow, straining to recall. “Didn’t get the chance too. I never knew he had something under his sleeves but I saw him.walking out of the urinals where Flash was sitting upright, dead”

Dominic was ratcheting all the possible explanation from the killers face then he asked.

“You said he had a goatee?”

“That’s what was so strange. The beard ?ade him seem older, but the rest of him was young”

Dominic puzzled, an idea shot through him about it been his brother, Celestial, because he loved disguising himself with a fake goatee that made him look older but Dominic couldn’t accept the fact that it could be Celestial simply because he was sure he killed him that night.

“The rest of him? What do you mean?”
Dominic asked.

“His face. His voice. I know this must sound strange, but it was only for a moment, as I came off the Urinals and found the dead body” She pressed.

They got as much as they could from her. Height, hair color. What he was wearing. Everything confirmed the sparse details that they already had. The killer was a man with a short, reddish beard. He had been wearing a tux — the tux jacket he had used in covering his head.

A fire was building inside Dominic. He felt sure that Laurie Birnbaum was credible. The beard. The tux. They were piecing together the killer’s appearance. “Is there anything more,.anything at all that stands out to you? Some physical characteristics? A mannerism?” Sarah asked and she shooked her head.

“It happened so quickly. It was only when I saw the drawing of him in the chronicle…”

“Are you sure you don’t want to go for the meeting, sir?” Flash asked as he made to open the limo doors for Dominic to go in. They were about heading for a meeting with another company but Dominic didn’t feel like going.

Dominic paused and turned around, facing Flash and he exhaled.

“Represent me at the meeting” Dominic said and Flash shook his head, hooting in approval and Dominic stopped a taxi.

“It would be best I drive you home first” Flash inquired,not liking the idea of Dominic boarding a taxi.

Dominic glanced back over his shoulder with a smirk.

“And be late for the meeting?” He asked and Dominic exhaled sharply.

Without uttering any more word, Dominic entered the taxi and was driven away leaving Flash stare as it drove into distance.

Flash exhaled sharply before entering the limo and drove away afterwards, heading to C.T.D company.

Meanwhile a red car packed at a corner was all focused on the limo driving away.

“I’m going after the taxi” The man who happens to be in the red car said to the reciever on the phone call.

“Go after those he loves first and then him last” The reciever replied and he lets out a raging sharp breath.

Celestial has just watched Dominic drive away in a taxi and Flash in the black limo. He glanced at the direction the limo took and was still able to see the driving limo then he starts the car engine and drove after the limo.

He followed the limo side by side until it got to its destination and the limo screeched to a halt at the front of a big skyscraper — its the C.T.D company(Classical Texture Designs).

Flash cautiously got down, knowing pretty well that he was not going to be late. He smiled at himself as he scanned the whole presentable view — Blooming flowers dancing along with the cozy wind blowing and confidently went in not knowing he was been followed.

Dominic was still in the taxi when a call came in and he tucked his phones out of his suit, fixing his eyes at the caller ID indicating a Private Number. He hesitated for a moment, ratcheting who the caller could be and whether if he was to answer or not but either ways he answered.

“Yes, who’s this?” He asked almost immediately and a dark chuckle sounded from the caller. He furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at his screen then placed it on his ears again.

“It will end soon” the voice pressed so cold and dark. Dominic hesitated, his eyes smoldered and he glanced at the screen again.

He has no idea of who it was or what the voice meant and just as he was about asking, the call was disconnected leaving him in suspense but was eager to get home first.

The conference meeting has just ended by the final disaggreement made by Flash. He cancelled the contract of collaboration between the modeling and Fashion design company.

With a hitch of belt, Flash drifted put of the conference room. He glanced back once or twice and smiled confidently at himself, knowing pretty well that Dominic would be proud of the decision he made.

Celestial decided to followe, hanging back at a safe distance. He went down a wide, well-lit corridor off the atrium. Halfway down, Flash glanced back once, cautiously. Then he opened a door and went in. The men’s room.

The killer moved forward. No one else was in the hall. He felt an irresistible urge building with force.

His fingers made their way into his jacket pocket, touched the cold heel of the gun. He flicked the safety off. He could no longer control what was going on in his head.

Go in, a voice dared him. Do it.

He entered a filmy, sallow light. No one at the urinals or sinks. Flash was in a close stall. A pungent smell filled his nostril: Marijuana.

“Anyone one there?” Flash low voice muttered out.

Every wicklike nerve in Celestial’s body stood at attention. He mumbled something barely audible.

“Someone’s in here please” Flash gulped, “I’d be out soon”

Celestial Hale pushed open the door.

Flash looked up,.bewildered, the tip of a joint on his lips. “Hey, man, who the hell are you?”

“I’m the one who kills useless worms like you” With that, Celestial fired. Just once.

Flash Blues head snapped back. A splatter of red sprayed against the tile. Flash rocked once, then crumpled forward in a heap.

The echo of the gun blast seemed to concuss the entire room. It left an effluvium of cordite that mingled with a pot smoke.

A strange calm took over Celestial Hales, a fearlessness. He pulled Flash’s head back and set him upright.

Then he waited.

A evil and satisfying smirk clouded his face. He watched as blood goey out of Flash’s lifeless and motionless body, filling the marble tiled floor and he stood up, his gaze down at the body and he took a quick picture of the body before walking out like nothing had even happen.

“Don’t go for him, go for what he loves most” The red hooded figure said coldly and The man rolled his eyes.

He grinned angrilly and impatiently before speaking. “So, do I still get to kill him?” And the figures exchanged glances at themselves.

“Go for what he loves most” Was the last statement made before the figures vanished into thin air and the man gazed up at the moon rising up in the night sky.

“Well… it feels like you’re already nine month pregnant for her” He said, making Lisa laugh out loud.

She heard him from the kitchen because Sarah had put the call on speaker.

The doctor still disaggregated to her heeding mass of pleading. It was an act punishable to the law and Mr Dominic was going to find out if that happens.

“How about a million dollar for the price” Her inquiry made the doctor halt immediately, shocked and still protesting between his own conscience.

Tessa smirked coldly as she watched the troubled and Protestant doctor frozen on his spot.

“The government doesn’t even pay such amount” she said, tempting him more on heeding to the inquiry and he turned around still wearing an overcasted protesting look on his face.

“I found the lady you requested for” and the syndicates rotated their heads in unison, giving Venom a deadly glare that almost made him melt.

The figures seems spruced on how he did it so easily. They glanced at each other before glancing back to Venom.

“Is he dead? Is Dominic Hale dead?” One of the syndicates asked.

That wasn’t their request. They wanted Sarah and now they suddenly want Dominic Hale.

“N… no” his breath unsteady. He gulped down nothing.

“We can’t kill her without killing him” they all said at the same time, their voice echoed and bounced on the walls in the room.

Venom was cut short by cold blade of the syndicate on his neck. He gasped. One of the Syndicates just appeared in front of him: it’s blade trained on his throats.

He gulped down absolutely nothing. Fear almost about to creep out of his throats. He was frozen in place as the figures deadly glares were fixed on his face.

The figure pulled off the hoodie obscuring its face. It was someone familiar — it was Celestial; Dominic’s elder brother.

Venom’s eyes widened in shock when he saw him. He is the leader of the Syndicates. It was a council formed by Vampires — the last of their kind. And he wants his brother, Dominic Hale dead simply because he wants to inherit her.

He wants Sarah George for himself.

“You know who I am, don’t you?” He asked. His voice cold and daring.

Venom blinked twice and he nodded real quick.

“I want Dominic Hale dead! Just lure him to the to me so I can kill him myself” He inquired coldly. Celestial now has nothing to hide or lose. Sarah George was already held in his custody and now he has to use her against Dominic.

ONE MONTH LATER

He’s losing it all! He’s losing his mind. He’s losing his patience. He’s losing everything. He could feel his anger grow tremendously and out of rage.
