    Kwara State Governor Mourns Death Of Ex-Deputy Governor Peter Kisira

    Kwara State Governor, Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq is sad to receive reports of the death of the former Deputy Governor of the state His Excellency Elder Peter Kisira in the early hours of today, Saturday March 30, 2024.

    The former Deputy Governor died at the age of 74, according to family accounts.

    On behalf of the people and government of the state, Governor AbdulRazaq sends his heartfelt condolences to the people of Baruten and the family of Elder Kisira, whom he urges to take solace in his fine legacies as a public servant and a bureaucrat who rose to the rank of Permanent Secretary in the state’s civil service.

    The Governor said the former Deputy Governor will be remembered for his life of commendable public service and dedication to good causes.

    He prays to God to receive his soul and look after the family that inherits him.

    Comic Nollywood actor, who recently celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023. Tolani Oyebamiji Quadri, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, has died at the age of 44/45. The actor known for his quick jabs and quips in Yoruba movies and more recently on social media skits, died on Friday in Oyo State.

    A popular Yoruba Nollywood Actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji who is popularly known as Sisi Quadri is dead.

    The shocking passage of the Nollywood actor was confirmed by Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin and OJO, on Friday March 1st, 2024.

    Amusan who is the Chairman, Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) announced the demise of the Iwo, Osun State -born thespian through his social media platform.

    Another of his colleague, Nollywood actress, Abiola Bayo wrote on her verified Instagram handle, “You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

    Bisi Aisha, the daughter of veteran Yoruba Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odunkanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko has taken to social media to mourn the death if her beloved mother.

    The veteran acteess who hail from Iwo, who battled an undisclosed ailment died on Wednesday, 28 of June, 2023.

    Though details of the cause of her death are yet to be revealed.

    Her daughter, Bisi Aisha, took to social meida to mourn her with the caption” It is well with your soul mummy. RIP”

    Actor Yomi Fabiyi also took to social media to mourn the late veteran actress referring to her as a living legend.

    He wrote, REST IN PEACE LEGEND 🕊🕊💔😭. You have fought the good fight ma, good to go and rest.

    You served well with your talent and all. You entertained and made us laugh and learn. Journey well ma. You will be greatly missed. #ripiyabooko #legend
