    Ben chuckled to himself. “Yes, my parents are billionaires, and I’m just waiting for my inheritance. But enough about that. What’s important is that we’re meant to be together. I want to take you out for dinner tonight and show you the life of luxury.”

    Joy agreed, and Ben made plans to pick her up at 7 pm. He spent the rest of the day getting ready, putting on his best clothes and cologne.

    Ben stopped a bike and rode to his house.

    When Joy reached their house, she was happy because she was expecting a large sum of money that evening. Joy thought that Ben was going to send her the money as promised.

    Meanwhile, in Ben’s house, as he relaxed on his bed, his mind told him to put his phone in airplane mode so that nobody could call him.

    Ben put his phone in airplane mode and dropped it on the bed. Ben doesn’t have a job; he lives alone, while his parents live in the village. Ben decided to live on his own, but his parents are not as wealthy as he claims. They are struggling and expect Ben to send them money. Instead of finding work, Ben spends his time chasing girls and forgetting that time is money. The only thing he’s good at is hard work. Sometimes he goes out to find construction sites to earn money. But once he has money, he spends it on girls for pleasure.

    When night came, Joy started calling Ben to ask about the money he promised to send her. Joy called Ben, but his phone was not reachable.

    Joy: Why isn’t Ben’s line connecting? What’s wrong? He promised to send me the money we talked about. Why is Ben behaving this way? Joy was not happy that night because she had already planned how to spend the money, and now it hadn’t arrived.

    There was a mother Zebra that had a blind child. It saddened the mother that her foal couldn’t see the world for himself.

    One sunny afternoon, she accompanied her blind foal to the river to drink water. On their way back home, they passed by a group of cheetahs that burst out laughing. The cheetahs, comprised a mother and her three cubs laughed so loud from under a tree.

    It then dawned on the zebra that the cheetah and her cubs were mocking her blind child. She became very sad and heartbroken.

    Her sadness deepened everyday as the cheetahs wouldn’t put a stop to their act. They would roar with annoying laughter each time the zebra and her blind foal passed by.

    One day, the sad zebra said to her foal.

    “I won’t bring you to the river today but I’ll get you water to drink. In that way, no one will see you or mock you”

    The mother then went to the river all alone, and by the end of her drink, she headed home with some water for her foal.

    However, the cheetahs didn’t stop to laugh and laugh. Their thunderous laughter then got the Zebra extremely angry that she decided to confront them. Burning with rage, she stormed at them.

    ” May i have a sit first? I asked.
    She: please, who are you?

    I broke into a kind of serious laughing that made her laugh out as well.

    May I sit down now, I asked again.

    “Sure she said” moving herself a bit away from me.

    She : what do you mean, ” not bad”.
    Me: I have been wondering, why you enjoy staying here alone by yourself.

    She: it’s not that I enjoy staying here alone by myself, but there is nothing for me to do and this place seems comfortable.

    Me; don’t you have friends?
    You can spend some time with your friends and they can come over here with you as well.

    She: of course I do have some friends, but everyone has something doing.
    In the morning they all go to school and in the afternoon they all have things to do, only in the evening they are free.

    We both laughed out loud….
    She ; they call me Favour..
    Me: Favour! Favour! Favour. I repeat that again and again.
    She laughed out loud and then asked me, why I keep repeating the name.
    I told her that, the name sounds great, I love the name”Favour”.

    We spent some time there together talking, laughing and smiling, when it was finally evening, I escort her back home.

    I walked her to the door way(gate) of their compound and stopped there, ” good bye, I will see you tomorrow”. I said smiling.
    She rise her hands waving bye bye as well.

    Her mom saw the both of us and how Favour was smiling non stopped.
    ” He has already left, stop waving your hands on air. Her mom said.

    ” Who is this handsome young man that you have been waving at him non stop?.
    Favour smiled out, ” he is my new friend”.

    Her mother, you mean your boyfriend???
    “Noo…… Mama, my friend not boyfriend.

    In response to my question Favour told me, “. Sometimes opportunities don’t wait for people”.

    I know she was right, but sometimes we find ourselves in a situation of regret simply because we rushed doing things, we take everything to be an opportunity.”

    Since Favour already told the director that we are coming to meet him, I decided to call my dad and tell him the details ( I don’t want to make him worry) I thought my dad will be against it, but to my surprised he was very happy and told me to go for it.

    He told me to go for it and to my best. Maybe God is coming back to him through me just as he has always believe.

    I was very nervous thinking about it, how it’s going to be singing in a movie.
    Favour was so happy for me, she told me that there’s no need for me to worry myself or to be nervous, it’s just as usually the way I used to sing.

    Finally that day came and we went to the company where the director asked us to meet him, we meet him and he was very delighted to see us.

    He welcomed us happily and then gathered his team together and introduced me as their new singer, he told them I will be singing for the movie.
    Some of them were happy while others were questioning, ” why will he bring a blind person as their new singer when he knew that the movie is very important?”.

    In response to their questions he told them, ” people sing with their mouths and not with their eyes”.

    In order to convince them, he told them that I will be singing once and they will have to record everything, if my voice and songs isn’t good enough for the movie, they can bring another person.

    They all agreed to it, and he told me to prepare myself I will be singing for them the next day.
    Favour is my assistant..

    They explained everything to me about the movie they were working on,. And it’s a very sad movie, Title ; ” Tears of a lost child”.

    The director told me to come up with something that will convince the team that I am the right person for the job.

    That night I remembered the song my dad used to sing when I was still young. It was such a sad song and I believe it will be good for the movie…

    The next day Favour brought me to the studio and everything was set for me to sing.

    I found my place and began to sing while they record everything…..

    “How do you mean you want to go to the Cinema to see a movie, how do you want to see it when we both know you can’t see, are you trying to tease me here or what Theresa ?” Desmond said to his girlfriend

    “Yes, I am blind, but since I have you, I am not. See baby, you’re my eyes that i use to see, once you’re departed from me, that’s when I would know I don’t have eyes anymore, and I can’t afford to loose you just like every other normal human being wouldn’t afford to loose their eyes Desmond” Theresa said with her head up and her long walking stick in her right hand

    “(Sigh) so how can that be possible for you to watch a movie and enjoy it?” Desmond asked

    “You’ll be there with me, while you’re watching, you start narrating everything to me, I will be listening to you as far as we’re sitting beside eachother” Theresa said

    Desmond bowed his head to the ground, heaved a deep breath, stood up silently and started rummimating about what Theresa had just said

    “You’re not talking again, Desmond, where are you” Theresa said while trying to trace Desmond with her left hand.

    “Theresa I’m right here behind you” Desmond said

    “Oh, Why did you leave? is anything the matter?, I notice you’re silent and I can’t perceive you beside me anymore, is it because of what I said?, Okay, no problem, I’m not going again. Please come sit with me” Theresa said tapping the rock beside him.

    “Okay no problem, we are going to the cinema tommorow” Desmond said

    “Woow, thanks so much, I’m so happy to hear that from you, I love you Desmond” Theresa said and they continued their conversation till the evening and Desmond led her to her parents house.

    The following day, Desmond and his girlfriend went to the cinema to see a movie. The fact that a blind lady was in the cinema watching movie with happiness all-over got a lot of people in the cinema amazed

    Desmond and Theresa really enjoyed themselves till the movie was over and they went back home.

    That night, Desmond couldn’t sleep as the thought of Theresa filled his heart, he kept thinking about her till he enventually slept off that night. (Then he started dreaming about her)

    It was a on a sunny day, Desmond took Theresa to their usual place (under the mango tree), he suddenly went down on his knees to proposed to Theresa holding a ring in his hand

    “Baby, ever since we’ve been together, I couldn’t imagine my life without you. Just as the sun was made to brighten the day, you had come to brighten my life, will you marry me please?” Desmond said holding a ring in his hand. Theresa got shocked at the moment and she started weeping

    “Desmond, I would have loved to marry you but I’m a blind person, so, I’m sorry, don’t let us talk about marriage please, I love you Desmond but not marriage please, I would only Marry if I can see the world with my eyes again” Theresa said with full of tears in her eyes

    “Okay, if that should be the case, what if I give you my own eyes and I go blind for you to see again just for the sake of love. Theresa, I love you so much and I want to marry you please”Desmond said still on his knees

    “Okay, if that could happen, and I can see again, I will accept your proposal with all my heart” Theresa said

    Few days, they they went to a surgery center to exchange eyes. Desmond gave Theresa his eyes and she could see the world again but Desmond was blind now.

    Few moment later, Desmond went on his knees despite his blindness to propose to her again

    “Theresa, now that you can see, will you marry me?” Desmond said holding the same ring in his hand waiting for Theresa to stretch out her finger and accept happily

    “Desmond I’m sorry, I can’t marry a blind man”
