The company was on vacation for a week, during this period we were no longer going to work.
Since I had nothing doing at home that evening, I decided to go and pay Kelvin a surprise visit.
When I got there I knocked, but there was no response.

I was really going to deal with him. He is the beneficiary of all my late brother’s asset.
He keeps withdrawing all the profit, net and gross income of the my late brother’s enterprise.
“Sir, who is now your next target?”, Steve asked.
I slowly turned to him.
“Mr Desmond is now the only target left. He is also one of the beneficiaries of my late brother’s will”, I responded.

I was very sad when our human resource personnel told me that I was going to be transferred to the USA.

“And as regards the information coming so urgent, we have only just been contemplating on whether to send you or not, we only just concluded few minutes ago”, he said.

“Kelvin you don’t need to worry about your welfare and survival out there, you don’t need to worry about all that. The company will see into it and make everything you want to be available at your beck and call”, he added.
I went home still feeling reluctant about my business trip to America.
I was urged me to go home and prepare myself for the trip.
I did personally as they asked me to do. The next morning the company’s vehicle took me to the airport, so I could catch up with the flight booked.
The plane definitely was ready for the flight. All the passengers were set as the plane took off immediately.
It was after few hours of the flight, the plane landed safely at the US airport.

I was very happy and elated about the new job I bagged at a new company still in the state.
I couldn’t wait for myself to resume at my duty post the following day, I just couldn’t wait.

I was really stressed out through out the morning, it was only during the lunch break that I went out to get myself freshened up.
The canteen was filled up with a lot of staff who were all rushing to get something to eat.
I didn’t feel comfortable staying there to get my own lunch. I went outside the company premises to a nearby restaurant to get myself something to eat.
At the restaurant, I met a guy.
“Hi pretty”, he called out to me.
“Hi dude”, I responded with expectancy.

“Alright, bye”, I remarked and hung up the conversation.
I dropped my phone on the side table and then turned over on the sofa to have my sleep when my phone rang again.
I cussed and lazily reached out to it. I picked it up and looked into it, it was Elvis, quickly I answered.
“Hello ma’am, I have just been arrested by the US road safety corps for over speeding on the highway”, he rushed his words, without even giving me time to respond to his greetings.
“What! H… how?”, I asked stuttering.

I almost laughed out, I decided to give in.

I was definitely upset at that very moment when I heard this.
“I don’t need his apology ma’am. Let him stay there in the police custody and bear the consequences of his sins. I couldn’t believe that your brother will be so heartless to the detriment of plotting with someone to have me raped”, I replied.
“Please temper justice with mercy. You gotta forgive him so another person might also forgive you your sins. We are urged to forgive one another as our Lord Jesus Christ did so for us at the cross of Calvary”, she preached.
The more she said this, was the more my anger erupted like that of a volcano. I angrily chased her out of my apartment.
“A time has come when every man shall pay for his sins”, I said solemnly and shut the door.

It was not too long when I saw my boss returning back from the lady’s house she had gone to. Her eyes was brimming with tears and she was walking very fast.
“Welcome Ma’am, how did it go?”, I asked with expectancy.
“Elvis it is a story I can’t tell. Imagine me being chased by someone out of her house like I am a thief”, she said angrily.
“Sorry about that ma’am. It will definitely be well. You just need to keep on trying until you say the kind of words that would break her mind, then she will finally accept to forgive him. And that will be the way of his release from the cell”, I responded.
I was definitely feeling pity for her, I just wished I was in the position to help.
