Jade stared at her with a smirk on her face as if Lucia’s tears amused her.

Lucia walked in the company till she stopped in front of their dance practice room.
She took in a huge breath trying to calm down her nervousness.
“Nothing’s gonna happen” She muttered to herself and smiled before opening the door.
She met her friends already learning the choreography of their song that will be released in few days
“Great, you’re here” Scarlett said. She was wearing a sports bra with joggers and sneakers
“We’ve been waiting for you. Where did you go” Becky asked.
“Nothing serious, I’m here now. Let’s start” Lucia said, tying up her hair in a ponytail.
Their choreographer played the music and began teaching them the dance steps.

“Any updates about my son?” Thomas asked and his right hand man shook his head.
“Young Master is still resilient. He refused to marry Miss Margaret and they’re not longer friends as we speak” The man said.
Thomas leaned back on the sofa, pinching his brows. That kid will definitely be the end of him.

Thomas took the iPad from the man with a surprised look on his face
“Mr. President I think she is the reason why Young Master is so stubborn in marrying Miss. Margaret” The man spoke.
Thomas twisted his face in annoyance as he watched the picture.
“Investigate on her. I want to know everything about her.” Thomas said and his man nodded then took the iPad from the president before leaving.
Those rubbed his white beard as he stared front. If it’s because of this girl that Kingsley is so stubborn then that will give him a really tough time into achieving his plans

“Love..” Daphne called walking in the room with a tray in her hand
Thomas smiled as he looked up at her. As usual, she looked really tantalizing and gorgeous in the black outfit she was wearing.
“I made you tea to relax your muscles” Daphne placed the tray on the table and poured the tea in a cup before handing it to Thomas
“Thanks honey” Thomas took the cup and took a sip from it.
Daphne smirked viciously as she watched him drink the tea.

The girls kept dancing till the music ended. All four of them immediately crumpled to the ground.
“I’m so tired” Eva groaned.
“You’re the main dancer, you should be used to it” Scarlett said and Eva rolled her eyes.
Lucia stood up and grabbed a bottle then drank from it. Her whole body was covered in sweat.
“Need to use the restroom” She said and left the room, gulping down from her bottle as she walked.
Ralph (Kingsley’s cousin) spotted her and smiled. He looked around and began following her.

He made to call her but stopped when Kingsley dragged her to a corner. Confused, he decided to see what was happening.
“What are you doing? I’m all sweaty!” Lucia gasped when Kingsley hugged her from behind.
“You still smell good” Kingsley smiled
“You’re weird” She chuckled and turned to face him.
“How was the food I made?” Lucia asked
“Delicious.. Just like your lips” He whispered and Lucia blushed.

“I was thinking about you all day long” Kingsley said.
Lucia smiled but her smile fell when she remembered something.
“Kingsley, I need to tell you something. Maggie’s mom, she-”
“Kiddo!” Ralph exclaimed, coming out of his hiding.
His eyes lingered around Kingsley’s hand that was still on Lucia’s waist. Kingsley noticed where his gaze was but he didn’t bother to move, instead be pulled Lucia closer
Kingsley looked at Lucia and smiled. “I need to speak to my cousin in private. Let’s talk tonight after work, okay?” He said.
Lucia bit her lips. She wanted to refuse but she just nodded and smiled. She looked at Ralph before walking away.
The smile that was Kingsley’s face immediately fell when Lucia left. He looked at Ralph with a passive expression.
“She’s cute. Your girlfriend or just a fling” Ralph winked
“None of the above. She’s more than that” Kingsley said and dipped his hands in his pocket.
“She’s cute” Ralph said, turning to look at Lucia’s retreating figure.
“Whatever you’re thinking, just forget about it” Kingsley said and Ralph turned to him.
