“Tina your information has been compromised”! Billy spoke anxiously immediately he walked into the room.
‘I known’… Tina sighed softly.
Y. You know?
Are you planning on going back? Billy asked carefully. He wanted her to be happy, but he didn’t want to lose her as well.
Tina stared at the child as if she knew what he was thinking.
‘I’ll never leave you Bil’. Tina spoke softly. He had been the one that save her when she was shot in the heart and pushes into the sea after numerous torture, decades ago when she came for treatment.
They’ve been looking after each other for so many years right from when they were poor till now that they can’t count their wealth.
I’ve booked a flight, we’re going back to New York. Tina decleared.
‘It’s time to go back’…
★★★
“Sir it’s confirmed! She is on a flight to New York”. Kelly’s assistant said to him.
Good! Make sure you are there to escort her when she arrives…..
Escort who Kelly? Don’t tell me you are bringing your mistress. Elena pouted in dissatisfaction.
Kelly pulled her to sit on his thigh, and nibbled on her ears.
You are the only one worthy of being my wife and my mistress. He spoke in a sexily low tone.
‘You are a weirdo’!
Do you want to cheat on me with me? Elena stared at Kelly warily.
That sounds fun doesn’t it? Kelly grinned.
You jerk!
I haven’t even accepted to be your fiance and you are talking about misterss….Dream on. Elena snorted.
‘”I have a surprise for you babe and I’m sure that after this surprise, you would want to marry me. ‘”
Kelly had a mischievous smile on his lips as he thought of how she would react when she receives his present.
Aren’t you overestimating your gift? How can a mere gift make me want to marry you?
‘For your info… I’m a country bumpkin not a glass doll…. I don’t do flowers’.. Elena snickered.
‘Yeah I know’… You do twerks. Kelly mocked.
Can you just forget about that day? Elena covered her face in shame. She can’t believe that she actually did that thing in his office the other day!
What? After all the torture I went through that day, I can’t simply forget it.
Kelly shivered as he remembered that day. 30 minutes in cold water was barely enough to quench the fire in his body.
If you choose to talk about it then I’m going to my dad, after all I miss him so much…..
What day were you talking about? Why can’t I remember it?
Kelly denyed shamelessly.
Elena snickered. She knew that he would succumb. If she was to go to her dad, then the chances of seeing Kelly in the next few weeks is 2%.
Anyways we still have to go to your dad’s place. Your present will be sent directly there.
Kelly had that mischievous smile he has been wearing all day, and Elena had the urge to smack it off his face.
Hmph!
See if I’ll come back with you after going to my dad’s place.

FEW HOURS LATER
Wow.. didn’t expect New York airport to be this crowded. Is the city so bad that people want to leave? Billy bad mouthed.
“Shut up silly”. You shouldn’t push your hatred for people to a City. Tina smacked his head as they exit the airport.
‘Ahem’… Jack cleared his throat to draw their attention.
“Good day ma’am “. I here to pick you… Erm … My boss will like to see you for few minutes do you mind….
“I don’t mind. Lead the way”. Tina had already guesses that they would be waiting for her.
....
Why do I have to watch you present a gift to my daughter?
If you are trying to win my favour the forget about it! Renald stared at Kelly like he is a tyrant trying to steal his innocent daughter.
Kelly bit back his laughter as he saw his father-in-law’s unyielding face.
‘..In less than few minutes, he will think other wise’..
Elena was confusingly nervous. She didn’t know why but she felt nervous.
Maybe it’s due to Kelly’s too much hyping that made her nervous.
You will want kiss me when you see my present. Kelly spoke beside her.
Stop making me impatient. Elena swatted his face away from her ears.
You don’t have to wait, it’s already here! ‘Kelly gestured to the door’.
Tina felt really nervous as she saw the familiar house in front of her.
She didn’t know what their reactionw ould be when they see her but she hopes that they would be as happy as she is.
“You don’t have to go you know”. Billy spoke beside her.
“”If you don’t close your mouth, I’ll put strawberry in it.”” Tina threatened.
‘Ehew’… Billy’s nose scrunched up at the thought of having strawberries in his mouth.
‘V. Valantina’?
When Tina heard that voice, her knee grew weak.
How long has it been? She had longed to hear that voice for so many years.
Unconsciously tears streamed down her face.
‘Red’… Tina called weakly.
Y. You. Are you real?
It’s not my imagination is it? Renald was at the verge of breakdown.
He must have lost his sanity to think that she is still alive. Or maybe it’s because of that Smith couple and their PDA.
‘It’s me Red’.. Tina walked carefully to him. She stretched her hand as if to touch him, but restrained herself.
Renald touched her face carefully as if she would disappear if he exert too much force.
‘It’s you’. His voice was barely a whisper.
Although Elena has not met this woman before. The semblance is unmistakable.
There is no doubt that the woman before her is her mom.
But how?
She watched the video and knew quite well that her mother would not be able to escape death ….. Yet here she is standing before her.
‘Mama’.. Elena wanted to say something else, but the word came out naturally.
Tina’s gaze let Renald as she traced the voice.
‘My baby’. Fresh tears came running down her eyes as she stared at her daughter that she left when she was just a toddler.
‘Mama’…. Elena wailed as she ran to her mother’s embrace. She had not know how much she missed her mom until now, when seeing her standing before her.
‘Mom’.. Royce who ran downstairs after hearing the commotion, was shocked to the bone.
‘My Jewel’. Tina stared at her son with loving gaze.
‘Ma’.. Royce stared at his mother while tears escapes his eyes.
He wanted to confirm if it was really her, but then again he was afraid that if he moves any closer, she would disappear.
Alright shall we go in and continue? Kelly was uncomfortable when he saw Elena in tears.
Although he knows that it’s tears of joy, she still felt uncomfortable. This is the girl that he swore to pamper to the bone. Therefore seeing her like this, made him feel suffocated.
....
Tina cuddled her son and daughter in both sides as she sat down. She was nervous and didn’t know what to say.
What happened all these years Tina? Renald forced himself to sit still.
He wanted to sit with his wife and hold her tight to confirm that she is really here. But seeing his kids and knowing how much they missed her, especially Elena, he restrained himself.
When I went for treatment, I was caught by Victor Adams and Gabriella.
They took me to a warehouse and. Tortured me a little bit….
What little bit? When I found you by sea, you were not breathing and had all sorts of scars on your body. You call that little?
Billy exploded when he heard her say it like was a simple matter.
She was in coma for 4 years. The doctors almost gave up on her. But luckily she woke up. After that, It took her 3 years heal fully.
Billy grintted his teeth as he remembered all she went through.
He was grateful that at the age of 5, he was loaded with cash from his hacking business.
If not he wouldn’t have been able to pay for her expenses
“That bastard”! Elena swore.
Royce clenched his fist. If that Adam dude was in front of him, he would have beaten him to death.
You are angry?
You don’t know how much I wanted to destroy those two, but she held me back.
Although Billy knew that they were not at fault, but the man had to marry that wrench Gabby.
Why didn’t you come back after you were fine? It’s been almost 16 years. Renald felt a heartache.
He was an incompetent husband and father.
She would have. But you were leaving a comfortable life with her enemy and it’s also because of it that she decided not to deal with them. Billy stared at the man before him in hatred.
Billy……that’s enough! Rina didn’t want her family to know all these. All that is now in the past and she doesn’t want them to feel guilty.
I’m sorry Val. It’s all my fault for being incompetent. Renald spoke guiltly.
Good thing you know! Billy snorted.
Y. You stop talking now else I’ll throw you out! Tina felt an headache dealing with this 21 year old kidult.
Thank you for taking good care of her. I don’t know how to re-pay you. Renald felt ashamed of himself.
Something he could not do, a little boy did it and he did a very good job at that.
‘Hphm’… Who needs your gratitude? Erm… If you want to show your sincerity than let me live here. Billy spoke shamelessly.
Elena’s mouth twitched. If not that he’s obviously not Kelly’s brother, she would have thought they are cus they have the same shamelessness.
....
“Hmmm”. Elena sighed tiredly as she lay on the bed.
It had been a tiring but pleasant day.
She and her brother had spent the entire day with her mother. Her mother was quite fun and doting. And the guy Billy… although hunty, he is quite cool
She wanted to continue bonding with her, but her father chased them away.
So how do you like my present hmm? Kelly crawled into the bed and hovered above her.
It’s the best present in the world. I love it… And.. I love you! Elena spoke happily and smack a kiss on his lips.
Kelly laughed as he saw her cute and silly behavior. The sight was refreshing. He would do anything to keep the smile on her.

Jace …. We need to talk! Bianca barged into Jace office without knocking.
Can we do that a little Later? Jace was scared to the witts when he saw her.
No it must be now!…..
