“Boss” Vitto muttered and they all stood up at once as Aurelio and Viper walked in together

Aurelio took his seat before they all sat down. He glanced at Rexton before facing others.

“There’s a mission for us this weekend… We have to exchange out goods with some men coming from Colombia. They’re pretty dangerous so we need to be vigilant.. Indigo you know your job, you and your team will hack in and you’ll be our eyes from here. The rest prepare yourself in case there’s any need to bring out our weapons” Aurelio said.

“Yes boss!!” They all chorused

“Also, Godfather and I thought it’ll never good to keep it a secret but I think it’ll be better if we let you all know” Aurelio said.

“There’s a spy and he’s among us here” Aurelio said and gasps was what filled the room

“What! Are you sure boss?” Indigo said and Aurelio nodded.

“Yes, I’m just letting you know because we’re a team. It’s normal we have a degree of trust within us but be on your guard” Aurelio said and they nodded.

“And whoever the spy is… Just made a big mistake by entering this clan” Aurelio smirked, looking directly at Rexton.

Rexton folded his fists that was under the table.

“That’s all for today” Aurelio said and left the hall.

“A spy? Wow!” Saint breathed out.

“I wonder who it is?” Cleopatra muttered.

“I don’t really care, so long as I get to be with you babe” Cisco said and pecked Flame’s lips.

Flame smiled

Coralyn could be seen sitting at one corner, looking so dejected. One will look at her and think she’s suffering from an illness.

“Sir Viper!” A maid exclaimed when Viper walked in the room.

Coralyn immediately stood up, looking at him intently.

“Make my coffee and bring it to my room” Viper told a maid who nodded and began doing it.

Viper left the kitchen without sparing a glance at Coralyn. Coralyn sat back dejectedly

That’s how it has been going since morning. She came across him twice today but he just walked away like she didn’t exist, he even appointed another maid as his personal maid.

It was just as if she wasn’t longer existing in his life. Coralyn blinked back her tears and sniffed.

She quickly cleaned any traces of tears in her eyes when she saw Amour approaching.

“Argh…” Amour groaned, sitting next to her with a frown on her face.

“What’s wrong?” Coralyn faked a smile.

“Why does this kitchen smell so bad.. It makes me sick” Amour twisted her face

Coralyn sniffed in and raise a brow

“But I smell nothing” Coralyn said.

“Really? Maybe it’s just in my head.. Anyways, why are you so pale today” Amour asked.

Coralyn looked down immediately. Maybe sharing it with Amour will relieve her.

“It’s about Viper..” Coralyn said and began talking, explaining everything to her.

“What! Sir Viper loves you? Wait, I need air” Amour said fanning herself dramatically.

“I don’t know why it bothers me this much.. But I’m the one who clearly set the boundary” Coralyn said.

“I thought I was dumb but you’re clearly dumber. You like him girl!” Amour said.

“But what about Ruby?” Coralyn sighed.

“That’s true.. Okay, how about you talk things out with Ruby, okay?” Amour smiled.

“I guess that would go” Coralyn shrugged.

“Now, smile!” Amour grinned and Coralyn slowly smiled.

“That’s better.. Now, what’s there to eat, I’m suddenly hungry!” Amour said, going to check the pots.

Coralyn smiled as she watched her.

“Coralyn, please can you serve Sir Viper his tea?” The maid Viper ordered came to Coralyn

“Me? Why?” Coralyn blinked.

“Sir Viper is really scary and you’re the only one I know who stands his scary face… Please” The maid begged.

Coralyn sighed then nodded, carrying the tray to go and serve him.

She stopped in front of his door and heaved a deep breath before knocking.

“Come in”

She walked in and met him sitting on the couch engrossed in a book. Looks like he loves reading books a lot

Viper looked up from the book he was reading and he frowned

“What are you doing here? You aren’t the one I asked to serve me my coffee” Viper said.

“She needed to use the restroom so she asked me to do so” Coralyn bit her lips

Viper looked at her for a short while before his gaze returned to the book

“Leave”

Coralyn nodded and turned to leave. She took two steps before turning back to him.

Coralyn placed the tray down before walking to him

“Can you stop acting this was towards me? Please!” Coralyn said.

A “clap” sound was heard Viper closed the book before standing up.

“Coralyn, leave” Viper said with a serious look on his face.

“I’m sorry” Coralyn muttered.

“Why? For what exactly are you sorry for? You did nothing wrong” Viper said and she bit her lips

“I’m trying to forget you so please don’t make it too hard for me to-”

Viper paused when Coralyn suddenly stood on her toes to pressed her lips against his.

His eyes remained wide as he stared at her. Coralyn held onto him as she kissed him.

“What are you doing?” Her mind said and she immediately released him with wide eyes.

“What did I do? What is wrong with me?” Coralyn said inwardly.

She looked at Viper who still had a surprised look on his face.

Coralyn immediately turned and made to run away but Viper swiftly grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him.

She landed on his chest and he cupped her cheek.

“Do you know how hard it was for me to avoid you?” He whispered and with that he crashed his lips hungrily on hers.

Coralyn’s eyes slowly closed

••AURELIO’S SUITE••

Amour was seen laying on the bed whole kicking her feet in the air. Aurelio left to answer an urgent call so she was waiting for him

She smiled when she saw the anklet shining on her ankle so she sat up to touch it.

Her face twisted again when her tummy began churning.

“Not again” She frowned, twisting her face even more

It got so unbearable that she rushed to the bathroom and immediately vomited everything. She was on it for about 2 minutes when she stopped

Amour washed her face with water before staring at her reflection in the mirror.

“It’s been happening for 3 days now. What’s wrong with me?” She pouted, touching her forehead to feel her temperature.

A gasp escaped her lips..

“Do I have COVID-19?”
