The students returned from the library just now, and Omar gasped when he couldn’t find the inhaler in his bag.

Emory is busy eating fish, and he’s staring at her without blinking, though he’s not eating.
His arms are crossed on the table.

“I’m not ready for this” Nina pouted, and Rebekah laughed as she pulled her to a table for three.
Lizzy joined them slowly, and then their phones buzzed at once.
Same with the phones of everyone in the cafeteria.
Levi made a post on the school page since he’s an admin.

3PM, TITANS MANSION*
Present members of the club rose to their feet the moment Levi stepped into the circle with Conrad, Hyce, and Rebekah.
Omar is not present, but Romeo and Juliet are in the front, acting like the leaders.
“Bring Omar to me” Levi said, and Romeo laughed.

Levi tilted his head.

Levi’s fist already met with his chin before he could finish, and Romeo crashed on the ground, his upper jaw clashing with the lower one.
Romeo stood back and threw a knife at Levi.
Levi backed out before catching the knife, then he twirled it between his fingers and threw it back.
It stabbed Romeo on chest, and he crumbled.
“Bastard!!!” Juliet roared forward to his defense.
Rebekah grabbed her by the hair, baring her neck before pushing her back, the she raised her heel tip to her neck, stabbing her there.
“Hi, bye” Rebekah smiled, dropping her bloody heel.
Juliet fell heavily beside Romeo’s body on the ground, and then several others started coming.
The first one Conrad elbowed on the chest flew back, landing at the stairs base, blood trickling out of his mouth.
Hyce dodged a bullet from one of them, but immediately he balanced back, he flipped the shooter to the wall, took the gun and shot him down on the chest.
The chaos was still ongoing when Levi went for the stairs.
He kicked away the body lying there and climbed up, going straight to Omar’s room.
Omar is not inside, but he saw movements by the window, so he went there and pulled up the curtains.
Omar is sitting there, trying to jump down and escape.
Levi pulled him back inside, and the moment he landed in, he hit him hard on the face.
Omar fell on the ground, shifting back on his butt.
“Tell me what you did today” he demanded, following him.
“I did nothing! nothing!” Omar shook his head vehemently.
Another slap.
“Arhhh!!! I said I did nothing!!!” He cried.
Another slap.
“I did nothing!!!!” He cried, hard.
Three consecutive slaps followed.
“Banks please I…I didn’t do…
Another two slaps.
“I gave them the gasoline but I swear I didn’t set the fire! I didn’t do it!!!” He cried out.
Levi squatted in front of him…
“Please…I … The trenchcoat dude told me to do it I was just following orders, I…
Levi grabbed his hand before he could finish, and a otherworldly scream left his lungs as he cut off another finger.
“Try again, Omar. It’s fun seeing you scream” Levi smiled wickedly, blood staining his face as he watched Omar bleed endlessly.
Hyce and Conrad came in, and they shrugged at the same time.
Rebekah came last, and she clicked her tongue.

5PM, METROPOLITAN STATION*
Chadwick was already waiting when Hyce arrived, and that wide smile rented Chadwick’s lips again.
“Stop smiling, it’s irritating” Hyce told him, and he immediately stopped.
Hyce led the way into the station, and he was greeted respectively by the officers and sergeants on standby.
“Is father in?” He asked.
“No, he went for a conference with the commissioner” a cop replied.
“Then I’ll wait in his office” Hyce replied.
They didn’t argue, so he entered the General’s office with Chadwick, and they lowered the blinds.
“Quick!” Hyce told him.
Chadwick brought out the inhaler, and they cello-taped it, extracting the fingerprints on it before turning on the scanning machine.
Immediately they placed the tape under the scanner, they heard General McCall’s voice outside.
“Hyce is here to see you, sir” the cops reported to him.
“Shit, why is he back?” Hyce muttered.
“Go distract him!” Chadwick urged.
Hyce rushed out of the office to meet General McCall in front of it.
“What’s up father!” He waved.
“What are you doing here? You want another car?” The man replied.
“No I just….”
Hyce went off, and the man narrowed his eyes.
“I just miss you, father! I missed you!” Hyce suddenly hugged him.
“Are you sick? Hyce!” The man cautioned, but Hyce tightened the hug
“I love you father” he said.
“Ok I get it…get off” General McCall said, and Chadwick came out of the office finally.
“Who’s this?” He asked suspiciously. Hyce broke the hug.
“Evening sir” Chadwick bowed.
“He’s a new friend. See you at home later dad… I love you!” Hyce blew him kisses, rushing out with Chadwick.
They didn’t stop till they entered Chadwick’s car.
“Anything?” Hyce asked.
“You won’t believe what I’m about to tell you” Chadwick replied, and Hyce frowned.
Chadwick showed him her picture on phone, and Hyce’s eyes nearly dropped on the ground

CARSON’S MANSION, 7PM*
Emory has a big smile on as she sat beside the small bird cage by her window after feeding it some grains.
Her parents are not back from work yet, and Sybil is with Rain. Their relationship is growing pretty fast.
Emory is the only one at home right now.
She dropped the bowl of grain and left the cage, then she got her phone and went to messages.
There’s still nothing from Levi.
She sighed, dropping the phone.
After the lunch at the cafeteria earlier, she expected things to change, but he left since then and never communicated with her.

She’s cooking attentively, and Emory folded her fists tight, quickly leaving the door.
She made to rush out, but then she saw Levi coming downstairs, wearing black sweatpants and same colour of hood, he looks as sinister as ever, and his eyes are dead.
“Noah?” He said, taking the last step down.
She ignored him and continued her walk, but he pulled her back swiftly, and he met rage in her eyes.
“Let go of me, don’t you have someone waiting for you in your kitchen?” She said, and shockingly, she saw an amusing smile on Levi’s face, and it’s so handsome, but she doesn’t even want it.
“Someone?” A voice said behind her, and she turned to see Kara coming out of the kitchen.

“Hey it’s you… The girl who hates compliments” Kara smiled brightly.
“Oh…yeah…good day” Emory replied in pure embarrassment.
Kara rushed back into the kitchen to check her meal, and Emory bit her lip hard, turning to the door again…
“I’ll take my… leave” she said awkwardly, but she was already off her feet before she could move.
Levi carried her in his arms, and she felt her heart skipping beats as he took her upstairs, his eyes straight.
She didn’t fight it till he arrived in his room and dropped her in bed.
He grabbed her wrists in one hand and trapped them above her head.
She went still under him.
“Jealousy looks cute on you” he whispered, rubbing her ear shell with his other hand.
She folded so much.
“I wasn’t… jealous” she replied, swallowing.
“And you’re bad at telling lies…I find out every single damn time… You can’t deceive me, fox” he said, and she gulped again.
“You came here because you were restless about my quietness, and right now you’re thinking of a kiss, you want it” he whispered, rubbing his lips on the side of her mouth.
Emory bit her lip.
“See? You’re trying hard to seduce, but I can’t be seduced… little fox” he said, licking her earlobe.
“Levi…” She moaned lightly.
“I can only be madly obsessed, so much that it’d scare you. Now that you came back here yourself, there’s no going back, I’ll show you what my heart was made of… Black” he whispered, sending shivers down her spine as he came back to her face and brushed his lips on hers.
Emory held her breaths, wanting freedom, but not when he’s still holding her hands over her head.
“I bet the moment I let you go, you’ll do what you really want” he said, stopping his movements.
Emory couldn’t control the heat in her core as she watched his lips, his stiffening shoulders, perfect biceps and devilishly attractive eyes.
Her body quivered with desire, and Levi smiled lethally when he saw her features, then slowly, he let go of her hands.
Emory leaned up like a starving fox, and Levi didn’t move till she got to him and pressed her lips fiercely on his own.
He didn’t close his eyes, but her eyes are closed as she kissed him like a need.

When she got no response from him, she bit his lip gently, and he smirked into the kiss.
