The snappy sounds coming from the kiss filled the bathroom, and Emory’s quirky breaths worsened everything.
She sounds like a wolf in heat, but despite the overwhelming desire to give in, she still fought it.
It’d have been better if Rain isn’t in here with them, but she’s here… right here, watching them.
She pushed Levi’s rigid chest, but that only made him kiss her more… Madder.
He stole her breaths then shoved his tongue all the way down her tiny throat, his hold on her neck still intact.
She might just pass out at the intensity.
Rain felt tears stinging her eyes as she watched. No torture can be greater than this.
Emory finally got a hold of Levi’s hair, pulling it back.
That seemed to do the trick cos he stopped immediately, his lips moist just like hers.
The sweat on his chest disappeared with the water already, and his eyes redness reduced.
He looks better.
Rain rushed out of the bathroom, and surprisingly, the lights didn’t go off again.
Emory looks dumbfounded for two minutes straight, and when she opened her mouth to talk, it came out in a whisper.
“What was that?”
Levi stood without providing an answer, and he was already walking out when Emory rushed out of the tub too, blocking him.
“Are you sick? You didn’t look normal earlier and…
“I’ve never looked normal ” he cut her off.
“I mean…look at my lip, you bit me motherfûcker” she said, raising her face.
Levi smiled inwardly.
Gawd knows he likes when she’s in her defensive mode like this.
The way her expression changes to wild and the way her pupils move is a scene to pay for.
“You bit me too the first time I kissed you” he replied expressionlessly.
“Is this your payback? Huh?” She hit him on the chest with those small fist of hers again, and he caught her hand.
“Come here” he pulled her out of the bathroom, and she followed like a little doll.
They got to the bedroom and he pushed her to sit on his bed.
She made to stand, but he pushed her down with her shoulders.
He pushed his hand away and tried standing again, but he pushed her back with her head this time.
“I’m wet! The bed will get soaked!” She glared.
“You’re wet?” He raised his brows with a knowing smirk.
“That’s not what I mean motherf…
He threw a towel at her face before she could finish, and that stopped her from talking as she dragged it down from her face.
“Sit still, it’s my bed. I can always change the sheets” he said, opening the wardrobe.
There’s no other colour of clothes in there except black.
What the hell is wrong with this guy?
He fished out two black joggers and two hoods before closing the wardrobe.
Without warning, he pulled down his wet slacks, and her eyes widened when she saw his ass again.
“Stop doing this!” She closed her eyes.
Levi said nothing as he put on the joggers and shirt, then he took the second set to her.
He placed them on her laps, and she opened her eyes.
Her hair is not dried yet, so he took the towel from her and began drying it.
“I can do it myself” she raised her hand to take it, but he pushed it back.
“Be a good girl, little fox” he said.
She kept her hand down, letting him do it.
While he’s at it, she noticed his open arm skin.
He has no tattoos like Hyce and Conrad, and she wondered why.
Tattoos are like a prove of power in this part of Spain, so she expected his body to be full of it, and the fact that he’s the leader of The Vikings..
“You don’t have any tattoo at all?” She touched his arm before she knew it.
“I have one, it’s hidden” he replied.
“Where?” She asked curiously.
“You sure you wanna know?” He replied, and she gasped.
“No, I’ll pass” she replied, and he dropped the towel.
She entered the bathroom to change into the new clothes, and when she came back, she saw tiger with him already.
“What’s it’s name?” She asked.
“Buddy” he replied.
“Hey Buddy!” She crouched in front of it.
“Why would you even keep a tiger as a pet? Devil” She said, stroking Buddy’s body.
“Dogs and cats are boring” he replied, brushing back his semi-wet hair
“But birds aren’t boring” she said defensively, standing to face him.
“Because you like birds?” He pushed his hands into his pocket with dipped brows.
“Yeah. I had a Lovebird when I was 10, but it died before I even turned 11, I cried for days” she pouted, and he poked her nose tip with his finger.
“Cute” he commented.
She looked up at him, and immediately their eyes met, she wants to badly grab his face and kiss him again without minding her wounded lip.
She wants to feel his tongue properly this time, but…
“Rain!” She suddenly remembered.
“What about her?” He replied, and she rushed out of the room.
She flew down the flight of stairs.
Downstairs , she met Hyce with Conrad who arrived two minutes ago
“Look who we have here” Conrad said, stealing from Hyce’s bowl of rinds.
“Where’s Rain?” Emory asked.
“She left some minutes ago without drinking the coffee I made her, pity” Hyce replied.
“Darn” Emory muttered, going back upstairs to get her bag.
She came back almost immediately, Levi trailing behind her.
“You’re leaving already?” Hyce stood.
“Yeah, ciao” Emory replied.
“At school” Hyce scrunched his nose, and Emory chuckled as she rushed out of the Loft.
Levi followed her to the door, and he watched her getting in her car.
She winded down the window and gave him a slight smile which he didn’t return, then she drove off.
He went back in, joining his friends.
“Chadwick came here” Hyce announced.
“News of the fuçking year. What did he say?” Conrad asked.
“Thank you, Banks. For saving me from untimely death” Hyce replied dramatically, and Conrad laughed.
“That bastard” He said.
“He learned earlier than expected” Levi replied, looking bored, and they both faced him.
“Intense” they chorused.
Levi checked the time. “One hour to go” he said, standing up.
“I think Emory brought you this” Hyce pointed at a plastic bag on the table, and Conrad quickly jumped to it.
He opened it fast and saw the tequila and red apples.
Levi snatched it from him. “You have no right to touch it, jackass” he glared.
“Chill, bro, and you need to fix the malfunctioning lights” Conrad patted him, and Levi made sour faces as he began climbing the stairs.
“The Vans and trenchcoat dude, it’s been a while since he appeared. I’m curious” Hyce said.
“It’s a She” Levi replied, and they both spranged to their feet at the same time.
“You caught the culprit already?” Hyce asked.
“Who’s she?” Conrad added.
Levi gave them a dry smile before going upstairs completely.
“Bastard, say what you know!” They rushed after him, but Levi already shut the door when they arrived.
Levi picked one from Emory’s apples and started eating, remembering what happened this morning.
He had the night terror again last night, and this one is about the day of the accident when he lost Silver, his senior sister.
Anytime he gets that nightmare, he wakes up with a splitting headache, and that’s exactly what happened.
He couldn’t even communicate nor touch his phone, so he had to crash in the bathtub, only for Emory to come.
Only gawd knows what he’d have done if she didn’t grab his hair to stop him, she’d have regretted coming here today.
Stopping him is one thing, but leaving this place to go in search of Rain is another thing.
He hates it as much as he hates Rain.
Emory literally left because of her, and that thought is making him want to murder Rain.
He tightened his hold on the red apple, almost crushing it.
He couldn’t stop.
Now everytime he eats red apples, he’d think of nothing but her. Her lips.
“Fûck” he muttered, looking at the wet gown she pulled off.
It’s still on the ground.
He picked it up, and he didn’t resist the urge to sniff it in, inhaling her cherry scent so much.
Gawd fuçking damnit.
Is he becoming defective in the head?
He dropped the gown in the laundry box and left the room.

RAIN’S PLACE*
Rain drove in roughly, almost running into Isaac who’s standing in front of the house.
He actually came to get her so they’d go to the campus together.
She came out of the car, and he was surprised to see tears on her face.
“Rain?” Isaac took fast steps to her, but she didn’t wait for him before rushing into the house.
He went after her again
“Rain! Rain what is wrong with…
She stopped walking suddenly, turning back to him and making the remaining words die in his throat.
She pulled his shirt in the front, dragging him down so their lips met.
She kissed him, and Isaac’s fists went balled as all the veins in his body began running, making his eyes wide.
Rain pushed him away after a second, and he fell on the couch.
“He likes red apples so he definitely tastes like it! Why aren’t you tasting like red apples? Why!!!” She yelled madly, pushing the couch down.
“Why do you taste different!!!” She pushed down the second couch, her hair so disheveled already and her face moister.
“No one is like him!!! Why!!!” She cried again.
Isaac caught her when she was about to push down the third couch, and he wrapped her body on his chest.
“Calm down, Rain!!” he shouted, clasping her shaky hands.
“Isaac” she muttered, coming back to her senses.
“Yeah, it’s me” he replied, and she sniffled hard.
“I’m so sorry” she muttered.
“I understand, we should visit the hospital again” he replied.
She nodded.

LEGACY COLLEGE, 11:50*
Lizzy is the last one to arrive among the girls, so she’s currently rushing her way to class, alone in the busy hallway.
“Hey!” A voice made her look back, and her eyes widened when she saw it’s Chadwick.
She quickened her steps, but he caught up again and blocked her.
“Calm down, I’m not gonna kidnap you again” he smiled.
She kept her head down, holding her books to her chest.
“Sorry about the kidnap” he said, making her look up.
Chadwick? Apologizing?
“I’m starting afresh” he shrugged.
“I…I have to go now… We have class yunno” she made to take another way, but he pulled her back suddenly.
That sudden contact made her books pour on the ground, and she choked on her own saliva.
Automatically, she got seizure attack immediately, falling on the ground and foaming from the mouth with rough wriggles.
Students quickly gathered in a circle around her, watching shockingly.

No one made any attempt to move closer, so Chadwick knelt beside her, holding her down by the arms.
Her bones are so tight as she wriggled, but he used all his power, making sure she didn’t slip off.

• Omar is taking over

The chats were endless as Chadwick kept holding Lizzy down till she was able to calm down.
That same moment, Emory rushed into the circle with the rest of the girls.
“Lizzy!” They all knelt around her, and her eyes fluttered open, her lips glossing with your liquid she vomited.
Immediately she saw the crowd of students surrounding her, she spranged up, not bothering the gather her books before running out of the hall.
“Lizzy!” Nina and Rebekah ran after her fast.
Emory faced Chadwick who’s just standing up, and a newly unlocked grin appeared on his face.
“Hey, Emory Carson” he said.
“Go bury yourself” she replied, rolling eyes before leaving too.
Chadwick threw his head back.
“Urghh, it’s damn hard to be holy”
He walked out of the circle, coming across Omar.
He’s with Romeo and Juliet by each side of him, and they’re scoffing, like they just found a profound leader.
“Thanks for leaving the throne” Omar smiled.
“You changed” Chadwick replied, and Omar laughed.
“I’m sure I’ll make a better leader. I won’t be like someone who got cut by a stupid sword then went down for three days”
Chadwick came closer…
“I’ll make sure to attend your funeral with a popcorn bowl, that’s even if they find your body. You’re not Banks’s match” he said, chuckling before leaving.
Omar gritted his jaws .
“Don’t let his words drag you” Romeo said behind him, and he faced them.
“Who said his words meant anything? I have plans and y’all better prepare. I’ll grind Banks with my own hands” he replied before leaving them.
“Why do I like this side of him so much. With Omar behaving so confident, I feel like he has a newfound power, and now it’s like Banks is below me” Juliet said.
“We should get our payback for kneeling in front of him don’t you think? I wish this side of Omar came out earlier” Romeo smiled.
“Come to think of it, maybe Banks only know how to use his sword, what if he’s not good with combat? We haven’t seen him in a fistfight before” Juliet faced him.
“We’ll soon find out. Should we go to the rave party?” Romeo nodded.
“Fûck yeah” Juliet replied, leaving with him.
