His glasses flew off together with one of his front tooth.

Starstruck is an understatement for the looks that appeared on the faces of the onlookers.

The students are obviously more than shocked as Chadwick’s blood hit the ground in droplets.

Not only did he lose a teeth, but his upper lip also bursted.

Emory couldn’t believe her eyes, and when she looked up to meet the devilish look in Levi’s eyes, her shock penetrated deeper.

North couldn’t close her mouth, and the students holding cameras were even too shocked to record.

Hyce smiled while Conrad is trying so hard not to murder Chadwick, then Levi looked over at Emory.

She gasped inwardly when their eyes met again, then he turned and began leaving wordlessly.

Chadwick stubbornly looked up, his mouth red with blood.

“You shouldn’t have done that, Banks” he said.

Levi stopped and turned to meet his face.

“You only just signed her death warrant. I’ll almost kill her if I don’t kill her completely. The worse you can do is fight me man-to-man. You can’t kill, can you?” Chadwick said with a dark chuckle.

“Why do I feel you’re the one who signed your death warrant?” Levi replied, and Chadwick gritted his jaws, hard.

Levi finally left the hallway, and Chadwick left through the other way. North followed him.

Immediately the three left, the frozen air came down, and chatters broke.

“I got the chills too, babes” Nina held her chest as she faced her friends.

“That was a lot. Why do I feel like the campus is about to change with this sudden adoption? Why would a father adopt his son’s enemy?” Lizzy said.

“Is he really his father? I’m starting to doubt that” Emory added, shaking her head and finally smoothing her hair.

“Who’s the girl Chadwick talked about? I’m so curious” Rebekah said.

“We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess” Nina shrugged, wiping the blood on Emory’s lips.

The girls resumed their walk to class, and Omar appeared behind them.

He was smiling sheepishly as he stared at Emory’s backside, and he didn’t blink till she finally entered the class.

He got a text from North and immediately made his way to The Titans meeting spot in the campus..

It’s a gazebo not far from their department, and he met everyone in attendance.

North is with Chadwick in the middle, cleaning his mouth.

There are too many bloody tissues on the ground already, all used on him.

She finished up and hooked small moulded tissue into the gap in his teeth…

“You should get artificial teeth before the end of today” she told him.

“I fuçking know” he glared, and she stood.

“My mission is to torment Emory, and y’all make sure this never gets out. We start tonight” he said.

Omar had to cover his mouth to stop himself from laughing cos of Chadwick’s teeth, but Chadwick noticed him anyways.

“Did you just…laugh?” Chadwick stood lividly.

“Me? No I…

He was pushed out before he knew it, and immediately he landed flat in front of Chadwick, Chadwick placed his boot on his head, pressing it to the cobblestone flooring of the gazebo.

“Argh!!!” Omar groaned, his blood painting the stone as his head began bleeding.

Chadwick pressed it harder, and he began crying, seeing his own blood

“We start tonight” Chadwick said again.

“But I’m curious about something” a member asked.

“What?” North faced her.

“Who are the other frat club, The Vikings? People only think we’re more powerful cos they know our strength, but no one knows how far those bastards can go. We don’t even know any of their members and we don’t know their leader, we don’t know their mansion too. All we know is that they exist in this same campus with us and they’re our rivals. It’s not making any damn sense” The member complained.

North walked slowly to get, and the lady shifted back.

“So far they’re not crossing their lanes, we have no damn reason to talk about them, capisce?” North said.

“I understand” the lady nodded.

LECTURE HALL, 10AM*

The second one is starting any moment from now, handled by the same lecturer who’s handling the pool classes.

Immediately she came in, North started laughing, reminiscing about how she had pushed her in the pool.

The class was silent, just the sound of her witchy laughter.

Omar nudged her to stop, but she shot him a glare which made him recoil back into his seat.

For ten minutes straight, North didn’t stop, and when she finally stopped, the class started.

“I hate her” Rain mumbled.

“No one likes North” Isaac replied beside her.

“Thank gawd this is my last year in this school with this bîtch” Emory muttered, getting her pen.

“I badly wanna throw her tomatoes” Nina added.

“Calm down, babes” Rebekah chuckled.

Lizzy made to get her pen too, but it fell from her, and it rolled all the way to North’s seat.

North picked it up and stood.

She walked back to Lizzy’s seat and dropped it on her desk, then she crouched down to her ear.

“Tell me, how do you eat with the same mouth you foam with? Doesn’t it irritate you? If I were you, trust me I’d have murdered myself ” she whispered, and Lizzy folded her palm on her pen.

Emory stood and came over, pushing North away from her.

“Oh! Their school mother is here…” North laughed as she staggered.

“Leave, or I’ll rip out your tongue” Emory glared.

“As if you can” North scoffed, finally going back to her desk.

Emory turned to go back to her seat, and her eyes met Levi’s.

Darn, why is their eyes meeting almost every minute?

He’s smiling that cruel smile again, and she smirked at him before taking her seat.

“She’s a protector, I like her” Hyce smiled.

“And i’m still wondering why Master X told you to keep an eye on her. I mean… you’ve been watching her and reporting for three damn years” Conrad said.

“No damn” Levi replied curtly.

“What fuçking ever, now that he adopted Chadwick and gave him the opposite mission, I’ll just wait for the shit show, but are you sure your father didn’t work in hell before?” Hyce said, and Conrad chuckled.

The class finally started fully, but ten minutes into it, Emory got a text.

She took her phone when she saw it buzz, and immediately she opened and saw the text, she sighed.

It’s from who you’re thinking.

Criminal: Protection fits you, fox.

She placed the phone under the table before typing…

Emory: We’re in class, and I wanna make it to first class. I have no reply to give you.

Criminal: But you replied.

Emory sighed.

Emory: What do you want this time, Levi?

Her eyes widened after she sent that, and she quickly typed another one.

Emory: I mean… Banks.

Criminal: Keep it up, you can be cute when you get on my nerves.

Emory rolled eyes, then she looked back to see him typing openly.

He’s not even trying to hide his phone like her.

“He’s insane” she muttered before typing a reply.

Emory: Yunno what? I’m blocking you.

Criminal: Do that

She tried to press the block option on him, but it didn’t click, and she tightened her hand on the phone.

Emory: What did you do?

Criminal: I’ll send you the location at 7, be there.

Emory: Where?

“Miss Carson?” The lecturer’s voice made her look up.

The woman is right beside her.

“Looks like you have a lot to solve on your phone” she said.

“I’m sorry” she quickly apologized, tucking the phone away.

The woman moved on, and Nina poked her.

“Who were you texting?” She asked.

“No one” Emory smiled awkwardly.

Omar has been watching her since the start of the class, and when he finally made to look away, his eyes met with Rain who was also staring at Emory.

Their eyes locked for a while before they focused on the class agaiñ.

At exactly 2pm, they had their first break, and everyone broke out to the cafeteria.

“I’m so exhausted, can’t we just skip the remaining one class and go home?” Nina complained as the girls sat on their usual table.

They picked the cafe menu and ordered their cravings then waited for it to come.

“Who were you texting in class earlier?” Nina asked.

“Can you stop poking your nose around?” Emory groaned.

“Nuh-uh…till I die” Nina replied, and Lizzy laughed.

“It’s still baffling that none of us is in a relationship” Rebekah said.

“Cross Emory out of that list, she’d become a nun” Nina replied.

“Me too, who’d wanna date a girl who foams from the mouth?” Lizzy replied, pinching herself underneath.

“Wifey, you’re beautiful and that’s on period” Rebekah said, and Lizzy chuckled.

“Hey girls!” Isaac’s voice broke into their conversation as he joined them, holding Rain’s hand.

“I said it’s fine! Isaac!” Rain said through tightened teeth, trying to take her hand from him.

“No it’s not” Isaac replied.

“Hey what’s up?” Nina smiled.

“Can we eat lunch with y’all today?” Isaac replied.

“Of course” Lizzy nodded.

Isaac quickly got two extra chairs, and he settled down with Rain who’s looking awkward.

“This is new, you both don’t socialize, what changed?” Rebekah asked.

“We wanted a change” Isaac said

“Just you” Rain muttered, drinking some water.

Emory smiled, liking her spirit immediately.

Their orders arrived, and everyone began stuffing their faces with meals.

“Heard our department is going for an all nighter trip on Saturday” Isaac said.

“Yeah, the yearly thingy, and i can’t wait” Nina replied cheerfully.

Emory is still eating her apple when she felt eyes on herself, so she looked up to find Rain staring.

Rain smiled shortly, and she returned the smile.
