She took off her clothes slowly. The sight of her shapely body put terrible ideas in my mind. However, I had been warned by Obi not to involve in any love making with her before I administer the drug. I had been given strict instructions and had to follow them to the latter in order to achieve excellent results.
Her roommate, Claudia had travelled out of town to see her parents so it was a perfect day for the act.
“Do you really want to do this?” I asked.
“Yes.” She replied. “There is no other way.”
“Okay, let’s get on with it.” I said.

I was completely taken aback. Everything had gone as planned until now. I hadn’t anticipated this. I had painstakingly explained the rules to her.

I thought about it for a while and then decided I was going to do what she wanted. I took off my clothes and got on her. We made love that night like we had never done before. In fact, it was like having sex for the first time after haven spent five years in jail. Some forty five minutes later, we were done. It was time to get back to the real business of the day. However, something kept telling me to delay a little while.
I went to the bath and freshened up. I was delaying and I knew it wasn’t proper. I had been told by Obi that it was going to come out within seven to eleven hours after administration. I had to make sure that happened at night so that I will be there to take care of things. If it happened in the day, it could be complicated because I would likely be in my own home at that time and she would be all alone. Also, her friend, Claudia might show up and complicate the whole business.
I had finished bathing now. I came back to the bedroom and there she was, lying stark naked, looking shapely and beautiful. Then a thought came to me. What if she wasn’t pregnant after all? She had told me her menses skipped. This happens all the time to girls. It could be hormonal changes, stress, anything. We haven’t even conducted a pregnancy test to ascertain if she was really pregnant or not.
A pregnancy test was really important because the drug was for pregnancy that was one month and below. How was I sure she was just ten days gone like she said. She was just in the first year in the junior secondary. She could not be very versed with these things. Even grown up and experienced women do get these things mixed up. Even doctors and nurses do make mistakes. What then of a first year secondary student?
What if the pregnancy was above a month and I administer the drug? Of course it would lead to complications. We would then need proper medical attention, which would lead to everyone knowing, including her dreaded uncle. It could even cost her life or long term or permanent sterility.
I shuddered at the thought of that.
“Baby, I have a proposition to make.” I suddenly announced.
“What is it baby?” She asked. “You want us to keep the child?”
“No, I want us to run a pregnancy test so we could ascertain if you are really pregnant and how long the pregnancy has gone.”
“You mean I am telling a lie?” She asked, slightly irritated.
“No baby. Please understand. Don’t be annoyed. I just want us to be careful.” I pleaded with her. “I love you a lot to want anything bad to happen to you. I just want us to be sure.”
“Are you sure about this?” She asked, sitting up on the bed and exposing her full breasts. In spite of the seriousness of the situation, I still couldn’t help noticing.
“I am sure baby, very, very sure.” I said confidently.
“Ok baby. Then I will go with your idea. Let’s do the test tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow is fine with me baby.” I said, smiling and moving towards the bed.
We made love twice again before morning. Each time we used protection so as not to complicate the outcome of the test tomorrow.
Early in the morning the following day, I left for home. In the afternoon, I went to a local pharmacy and bought a pregnancy strip. In the evening, I went to her home and thankfully, her roommate was not yet back. Her roommate, Claudia had a loud mouth. If she had in the least suspected our plans, the whole neighbourhood would have been aware.
“Doctor is here baby. Time for the test” I joked. She laughed.
“But we can’t do it now. They say it is more effective if it is done early in the morning.”
“So you are saying that I have to spend the night here again? What excuse am I going to give back home?” I asked.
“Your usual excuse, or have you forgotten? Tell them you went to study with your friends.” She said and then laughed. I ignored her.
“Ok. Promise me no sex tonight.” I said.
“Yes, no sex.” She accepted.
Needless to say, we banged that night harder than the other night.
It was morning now. We did the test and watched with fast beating hearts as the strip showed us the result. There was just one red line. We hugged it each other with joy and laughter. She was negative. She hadn’t been pregnant all along. It was just one bad dream. What a week?! What a series of events?! What a relief?!
