THE NEXT DAY
I woke up, stood and headed straight to the bathroom, got undressed, took a shower, wrapped my pink big towel round my body, using my small towel to dry my hair up, returning back to my room.
My phone beeped from my mattress, I checked it. From Grand Lake Academy?

I frowned confusedly “Why?”
Why can’t we wear our uniform? Is something going on in the school?
I shrugged as I wore my red tank top, my work black ripped jeans pants, jeans jacket and glittered gold sandals, combed my hair.
I wore my brown backpack, just in case we have any class today.
I left my bedroom to the kitchen, ate breakfast and kissed my mom goodbye and left the house.
I sat on my bicycle and rode straight to the next street bus stop, stood from the bike and hid it inside a small bush.
I stood, waiting for the bus stop. Good thing I’m not late, that’s why I took my bike.
I frowned as I noticed a black Tesla car parked in front of me. Who’s that?
The windscreen slid down and Oh my God! Tyler?! Who’s smirking at me.
“Lemme give you a ride to school.” He bit his lower pink lip, checking me out, making me a little uncomfortable.
“Well, um…” I’m thinking of an excuse to say instead of ‘No’.
“You don’t need to think, just get in.” Tyler emphasized “You’re gonna be late before the bus gets here.”
What should I do? I don’t want to break Natasha’s heart, also Tyler’s heart.
Maybe just today and Natasha won’t find out. I hope.
I took a deep breath as I opened the passenger side door and sat on the cozy comfortable seat, giving me chills.
Holy Cow! The interior car is amazing, so chilling and it smells nice.
This is the third car I’ve ever entered aside from taxies and buses.
First it was my boss car when he, my mom and I went to the market to get stuffs for the pizza, once. Then Zeke’s car, when were going on a little car trip, also once. Then Tyler’s car, right now.
Don’t wanna remember anything related to him.
I frowned noticing Tyler’s starring at me. I shrugged “What?”
“Your seatbelt…” He trailed off as he leaned closer to me and tried to fix my seatbelt.
My face heated up as our faces are f×cking close to each other, our noses are literally touching each other, our lips are almost connected.
He didn’t even wanna move away, even though he’s done buckling up my seatbelt, he keeps gazing into my eyes, like I’m gazing at his.
His lips are so pink and soft, his ebony dark eyes, his cute nose breathing on my face.
Wait, we’re not supposed to be like this, we’re just friends.
I gently pushed him away making him confused.
“I’m sorry.” He apologized immediately.
“It’s okay.”
I wish we really kissed but I’m happy we don’t, or Natasha will hate me.
She has helped me a lot but I didn’t believe her.
He smiled as he drove off slowly.
He’s so handsome with his messy curly and fluffy hair, his pink lips like Strawberries, his flawless skin.
He wore a black T-shirt, denim black ripped skinny jeans, and white and black flannel jacket, with white Prada sneakers, with diamond earring and golden chain with bangles.
“Whoa!” I gasped lightly as he zoomed off fast.
It’s so fast it’s like my heart’s raising and my stomach’s rumbling, I grabbed anything I see tightly for the car not hit any dangerous thing like truck, rock, brick or any other cars.

She grabbed my hand that’s still controlling the wheels. Her hands are so soft and small, maybe because mine is big.
I can’t help but I smile, watching her frightened because I drive fast. That who I am.
🧡 REYNA’S POV 🧡
“Tyler, you need to slow down!” I cried in fear.
He scoffed, grinning being adamant as he zoomed faster.
“Tyler!!” I yelled.
“Calm down, we aren’t gonna hit anything. Trust me.” He laughed.
“Trust you?! I have trust issues if my life is in danger, please! Agrh!!” I screamed in fear as we’re about to hit a car.
Tyler overtook the car, smiling, I gritted my teeth as I pinched him.
“Ow!” He winced, still driving fast.
Where are the traffic lights, cops and the officers?!!!
After some minutes of fast driving, he’s still not tired, he’s really good in that.
We’re almost to our school gate.
“Thank God.” I sighed still in fear as I removed my hands from his arm I don’t know I was holding all this while. Awkward!
At least, we’re about to reach our school, he’ll stop.
Wait, why aren’t we stopping? We just passed our school. Is Tyler high or something?
I tap his shoulder “Hey, we just drove passed our school. Why didn’t you stop?”
“We’re going to somewhere special.” He replied without taking a glance of me.
Where are we going? Is he kidnapping me? We’re getting far away from school.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked feeling more scared.
He shrugged smirking evilly “Like I said, somewhere’s special.”
“Tyyyyy..!” I screamed as we almost hit a truck but he overtook.
I decided to keep shut because if I scream again he won’t even react, instead it’s like a music to his ear.
I gulped holding the power window tightly, with my eyes closed tightly so I won’t see any horror fast and furious.
God! I feel like throwing up! It’s like I’m riding roller coaster that I’ve never ride before in my life.

I feel bad for her but not really, I just want to hang with her today.
I wanna have our first date today.

FEW MINUTES LATER – GRAND LAKE ACADEMY
🧡 NATASHA’s POV 🧡
“Urgh, where is he?” I groaned silently, checking the class clock, sitting with my legs crossed, waiting for Tyler.
Why isn’t he in school today? I miss him. After school, I’ll go to his house and check on him.
Kylie walked in glaring at me. I smiled and waved at her. She rolled her eyes and went to another seat.
I feel bad that she’s mad at me but I need to get this b×tch out of my school.
Where is she anyway? Don’t care as long as she leaves forever.
“Hey Natasha.” Hailey grinned happily as she walked in and sat beside me.
“Hey Hailey Bieber.” I teased her.
“About yesterday, why have you been nice to that Reyna?” She asked, frowning.
I rolled my eyes “Because I like her, don’t know why.” I shrugged.
“Well, it’s hurting Kylie, she didn’t even talk to us since yesterday. I don’t even like it either, you’re disobeying the Trice Spice code.” She said softly.
I sighed “I know, but sometimes we need to be nice.”
I turned, checking Tyler’s seat, hoping he’ll just appear there.
“Are you thinking of Tyler?” She asked.
I nodded “Yeah, then call him, say what’s up?”
“I tried, I’ve called him like six times, he didn’t answer, he didn’t even reply to my text messages, how could he?” I complained.
“Well…”
“Good morning, class.” Our Physics teacher walked in “Wait, where’s Tyler and Reyna?”
I raised my hand immediately.
“Natasha?”
“Reyna’s sick and Tyler went to a meeting with his father.” I lied.
I have no idea.
Kylie’s glaring at me, Shay and everyone are giving me shock look.
I didn’t cover up for anyone, I cover up for myself.
The teacher nodded “Okay, today I’m gonna be teaching you guys…” He began his boring teaching.
Principal 📢 Dear students of 11th grade, Reyna won’t be in school because she had some work to do with her parents, and Tyler is sick and won’t able to come to school.
The principal announced from his office. I don’t think that’s what happened. Lie!

I still wonder why Natasha is still helping Reyna, did she really change?
Because of Reyna? Or she’s upto no good? I hope Reyna is fine wherever she is.

Tyler finally zoomed and arrived at a parking lot.
I came out immediately, ran to a small bush and puked all the food I’ve ate this morning.
My mouth is soar and messy cause of my vomit. Thanks to Tyler.
“Here.” Tyler gave me a blue water bottle.
I snatched it immediately, took a sip, rinsed my mouth and spat the water out, then washed my face with it and gave him the bottle.

Damn! She’s hot while washing her face, pouring the water down to her cute round face as she’s scrubbing it, making he to look more beautiful.
After washing her face, she closed my bottle, bending her head as usual, which annoys me a lot.
“T… Thanks.” She said shyly.
“C’mon, you don’t have to be scared, starring at me, we’re friends, remember?” I said to her.
She raised her head slowly, frowning at me “What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Why did you bring me here? Where are we? Don’t you know that we have school? Oh no! I’m gonna get expelled for this.” She asked.
“Calm down, you’re not getting expelled, nothing’s gonna happen.” I scoffed.
“Oh yeah? For you! Because your dad owns the school…”
“Well, I’ve cover up for that, don’t worry, they won’t do anything.” I explained.
I’ve already told the principal to tell the students that Reyna and I are sick. She’s gonna play along.
“Where are we?” She asked.

“Hermosa Garden.” He answered.
I turned and gasped at the beautiful area, carpet grass, colourful deck chairs, beautiful trees, blue umbrellas and others.
“This is where I go anytime I get bored and I just come here and hang with myself for a while.” Tyler explained.
“What about Natasha?” I asked.
He scoffed “If I bring her here, she’s gonna show off or let everyone know that she’s here, sometimes she won’t let me eat until she finish making a video of the food we ordered.”
Wow, he knows a lot about his best friend, who knows how long they’ve been friends. They do deserve each other.
“Then what about your family?” I asked.
“Don’t wanna talk about them for now.” He muttered.
Why? Is he fighting with them?

“Let’s go in.” He said as he held my hand and pulled me.
We went to a cute blue wooden table and sat on the blue and yellow deckchairs. So nice.
The waiter in dark blue apron approached us, smiling “Good morning beautiful couple, what can I get you two?”
I frowned “Um… We’re not…”
“Babe, tell him what you want.” Tyler interrupted.
I furrowed my eye brows at him. What did he mean by babe? We’re not dating, and I don’t think we will.
“Ma’am?” The waiter tapped me.
I smiled “Um just a slice of bread.”
“C’mon Strawberry, tell em want ya want.” He husked, touching my hand, making me to go red.
“Um… Well, um… I want um… Chicken Burger and strawberry coffee milkshake… Is that too much?” I whispered, grinning sheepishly.
“Same thing.” Tyler said to the waiter, he didn’t even reply me.
“Awww, what an adorable couple.” The waiter awned as he left.
Now I’m feeling awkward, I hope I don’t disappoint Tyler with my low-class status.
GRAND LAKE ACADEMY
🧡 NATASHA’s POV 🧡
I kept pacing around in my locker, trying Tyler’s number, it keeps going to voicemail.
Should I call his mom? No, she might be busy at work.
This is the first time he didn’t answer my calls, if I call once, if he didn’t answer, he’ll call back after 5 minutes.
But he didn’t even bother time, where is he?
“Natash, you need to calm down.” Hailey said, sitting on my pink bench, using her phone.
“Why should I?” I asked in frustration “What if Tyler’s gone missing?” I ran my hands through my hair.
Hailey gasped “Or what if Reyna and Tyler went on a date?” She guessed.
I stopping pacing, frowned at her and scoffed in disbelief “No, no, Reyna won’t do such a thing, I helped her in so many ways, I even saved her life, she won’t betray me.”
Hailey shrugged, continued using her phone.
What if she’s right? Since Reyna’s not in school. I swear I won’t spare her if Hailey’s right.
Be careful Reyna or you’ll face my wrath. Just hope Hailey’s wrong.

“Urgh! How do you use this fork and knife?” Reyna muttered, trying to know how to use the cutleries to eat her chicken burger .
I chuckled starring at her confused face, holding the fork and knife in a funny way.
“Okay, here’s how to hold it.” I told her as taught her in a proper way.
“Thank you.” She scoffed as she started eating.

“It’s like you knew I’m not fancy at all.” I blurted as I took a bite on the delicious steak.
My eyes went wide realizing what I just said. Oh no! I talk too much, why did I say that? If he hears he’ll hate me for being poor.
“What did you say?” He asked.
I shook my head immediately “Nothing.”
I started eating my burger. Eating with utensils looks fancy but I’d rather eat with my hands.
Shut it Reyna! You’re outside, don’t embarrass yourself.
I hate eating with this stupid utensils!! I dropped them on the table, wanting to eat with my hands.
I noticed Tyler’s starring me. I bent my head in shame as I took my utensils, using them to eat tiny foods I cut. I don’t think I’ll be full.
He smirked at me as I dropped utensils, took his chicken burger with his hands and started eating.
I turned and noticed, some people are using utensils, some are using their hands. This place is kinda fancy free please. Why not me?
I smiled as I kept my utensils on the table and started eating and enjoying my chicken burger with my bare hands.
So satisfying and delicious.
“So… If I may ask, do you have a boyfriend?” He asked, while eating.
I shook my head “Nah… Well I used to.”
“Then what happened?” He asked.
I stopped eating, I seriously don’t want to talk about this but why do I feel like telling Tyler about it? Should I just…?
“Huh?”
“I’m not ready to talk about it.” I muttered.
He nodded still eating “No worries.”
I nodded as I continued my food.

I wonder what happened in her past relationship, maybe it’s affecting her now.
I shrugged as I continued my burger.
AFTERNOON
🧡 REYNA’S POV 🧡
After we had our food earlier, Tyler forced me to play with him at the playground next to the restaurant.
I can’t believe there’s playground for grownups, there’s trampoline, slide, swing, bouncing castle and merry-go-round. It was fun.
It’s like a carnival restaurant. Never being to one.
After that, he dropped me at the Santee Bus stop because he thought I leave there, we hugged each other good bye and went our separate ways.
I smiled happily, this is such a great day, thanks to Tyler but I’m a little mad because I’ve missed a lot of class today.
