At first Martin was frustrated by the statement and amount the doctor mentioned because he don’t have such amount at that moment, but he really want Paula to be okay, if not for anything, for the sake of his children.
After Martin left the hospital, he went straight to the bank for loan of three million which they gave him, although he used one of his expensive car as a collateral, after that he rushed back to the hospital and paid the money for Paula to be okay
Three weeks later, Paula have gained conciousness and opened her eyes and saw that she had only one leg, when she saw this, she screamed with tears, some nurses rushed inside the ward and was consoling Paula
“Noooo….. This can’t be happening to me, how can I live with only one leg, who will be taking care of me, how will I cope, is it not better for me to die, if I had known I would have remained In my marriage with my husband and children, and all this wouldn’t have happened to me, now looked at where my life style and high taste have landed me “Paula cried in regret, while the nurses was consoling her
The next day, Martin went to the hospital to know how Paula was doing, on getting to the ward, he was happy to see that Paula was awake and getting better, when Paula saw him she was ashamed of herself, because of all the terrible things she has done to him, with tears in her eyes she started pleading for forgiveness, she pleaded and pleaded for Martin to forgive her that she will change if Martin give her a second chance
