Bisola was woken up by the Holy Spirit one midnight to pray and during the prayer, the Holy Spirit began to explain some things to her.
Holy Spirit: Forgive your mother-in-law and let sleeping dogs lie.
Bisola: But Lord………
Holy Spirit: the devil is doing everything possible to see that your marriage does not work out because he knows that when you are united, you will achieve more. He knows that when there is happiness and love in your home, you and your husband would do exploits for God and your children will become spiritually stronger hence, he is doing everything possible to see that you two go separate ways and if you should have your mother-in-law locked up, Dozie won’t be able to bear it. The devil will then begin to make him hate you
Bisola: It’s not easy to let go, Lord. She made me lose my baby
Holy Spirit: the devil is the one using her, she isn’t the one, she is under strong manipulation.
Bisola: hmmm
Holy Spirit: act like a mature believer that you are and forget. This act will make Dozie adore you more and always remember that God’s grace is sufficient for you.
Dozie kept monitoring his wife all through the following day, he was supposed to go for a ministration but canceled it. Bisola had planned to go see her father and report Mrs. Kennedy to him and ask her father to teach the woman a lesson she won’t forget in life. Dozie pleaded and pleaded with her but she refused to let go because she feels the old woman will continue to frustrate her if something wasn’t done on time. When Dozie saw that his wife wasn’t ready to let go, he had to send the Holy Spirit to speak to her because he knew that he won’t be able to bear the fact that his mother got arrested by his wife.
Dozie expected his wife to go visit her father but she remained in the house and was helping the boys with their assignment. He wanted to ask if she wasn’t going to see her father as planned but he didn’t want to remind her because he felt she had forgotten. At last, he found the courage to ask her.
Dozie: Babe, aren’t you going to see your Dad again?
Bisola: Why are you asking?
Dozie: No na, Sweetheart please, for God’s sake
Bisola: Your mom is very lucky, better talk to her because if she tries this again, she won’t like my reaction. It’s the Holy Spirit that asked me to let go oooo, it’s not like I wanted to loo
Dozie: (surprised and overjoyed) Haaa, thank You, Jesus. Babe, I don’t know how to appreciate you but I want you to know that I am deeply grateful. What do you want? Name it, I will go any length to get it
Bisola: That your mom sees me as a daughter and not as a threat to her. I am not stealing her son away from her
Dozie: It will be done.
Three weeks later, Bisola and her sons’ papers to travel out were ready. That was God’s way of compensating Bisola for forgiving her mother-in-law. A week after their papers came out, Dozie and his family traveled to the States without informing his mother.
ONE YEAR LATER…………..
Dozie came back home looking so tired, he counseled a lot of people at the church which left him tired and hungry. Luckily for him, his wife was setting the table when he walked, he placed a kiss on his wife’s forehead and then ran into the bathroom to freshen up and come have dinner with his family.
Getting to the dining table, he was surprised to see that his wife served him two plates of food, and when he asked her why, she simply replied that she wanted to spoil him that evening. After one of the twins blessed the food, Dozie opened his food hurriedly only for him to meet an envelope on his plate. With curiosity written all over him, Dozie opened the envelope and went through the letter only to come face to face with shocking news.
Dozie: (glued to the letter) Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Bisola: (winked at him) Yes my love
Dozie: This is unbelievable, I thought you said you weren’t going to get pregnant again
Bisola: I said that out of anger but then, God promised me another baby so, I had to stop the use of contraceptives
Dozie: you didn’t tell this
Bisola: I wanted to make it a surprise for you
Dozie: come on guys, congratulations to us, Mom is giving us another baby soon, this is wonderful, I am so happy. Thank you, my beautiful wife. Indeed, you are God’s precious gift to me.
Ayomiposi: Dad, Mom, can we have two girls? I am tired of being bullied by Ayomikun
