Leonile listened to his father’s ranting with disinterest. This was really not the reason why he came back.
“I’m not interested in the throne anymore dad. If Lothaire wants it, then simply let him have if after all he is your also son”! He said.
” What”! King Hadrian stared at his son in horror. ” What the hell happened to you”? He asked in disbelief.
“The main purpose I’m back is to receive the imperial decree for marriage. I know that I as a prince can’t just marry casually”. Leonile explain carefully. He didn’t want his father to direct his hatred for to Tanya.
“Call Lothaire here”! King Hadrian bellowed. He couldn’t shake off the feeling that Lothaire might have done something to his son.
Lothaire on the other hand chuckled when he listened to Estaevan’s report. He didn’t expect they the lady he sent will be able to tame the wild Prince.
Staring at the sleeping figure, Lothaire sighed and stood up. He would have to think of a way to appease Heaven later.
“Hello King”. Lothaire greeted as soon as he walked into the throne room.
“How dare you convince my son to forget about the throne”? King Hadrian yelled.
Lothaire glanced briefly at the Tanya before looking away. “If I have to convince him to leave the throne before taking it, doesn’t that make me incompetent”? He snorted.
The King choked on that word. It seemed to be reminding him that he had to convince Lothaire to give up o the throne before he felt secure.
Leonile kept looking back and forth between Tanya and Lothaire. He felt that Tanya’s awkward expression is like one who failed to do the mission he was sent on.
“Do you know him”? He finally asked.
“Huh? No, no. I’ve not …” Tanya’s voice became lighter and lighter, and she couldn’t complete the sentence because she can’t bear to lie to him.
“Leonile noticed her behavior, but concluded that it’s not the best place to ask her about it.
“You don’t have to worry about your throne. I’ve never been interested in it. It’s just you all who keep pushing me”.
“For uniting with Zamila to deceive me I won’t hold you for that. Take it as me repaying you for sheltering me all these years. But you should know not to cross your limit”. Lothaire said calmly, and strode out.
” You should come see me when you are free”. His last statement was directed to Tanya.
Tanya stiffened. She thought she was successful in hiding herself away from Lothaire.. but alas..!

“Shut up! No one is talking about death! I’m just feeling conflicted. For so long, the feelings between us has been hatred I just don’t understand why he sent you to me. If it were to stop me from meeting Zamila, he has many other ways of doing it”. Leonile frowned. Looks like he needs a chat with Lothaire.
He quickly ran after Lothaire, and stoped him at the entrance of the former palace.
“Why did you do it”? He asked without beating about the bush.
“Don’t get me wrong Leonile. I didn’t do it for your sake. I’m a selfish lover and can’t bare the thought of another man wanting to covet my fiance that’s why I sent someone to keep you busy”. Lothaire spoke without turning back.
” You could have killed me if you wanted. Why go through the trouble of looking for someone to keep me busy”? Leonile asked again. He didn’t plan on giving up till he finds the main reason.
” Taking over the throne is quite troublesome and Heaven doesn’t want to become a Queen”. Lothaire said dryly.

“It’s been only few days we last saw each other what’s with the tantrum”? Lothaire massaged his head lightly.
“You sulk’ at being an elder brother”. The figure skipped to Heaven when he saw her coming out.
“Hello sister in-law. I’ve heard so much about you”. He brought Heaven’s hands to his lips, and planted a kiss on it.
“Kingston”! Lothaire yelled in anger. He stared at Kingston like he is already a dead man. He has been trying even if it’s to kiss her cloth and this guy who just came form no where, kisses her hand.

Since it had to do with you, I naturally followed his plans.” Kingston explained hurriedly.
Lothaire’s mouth twitched. “That devil’s incarnate is acting like a meek lamb before his little fiancee”!

Heaven glanced at Lothaire and scoffed. She wanted to keep giving him attitude but not only is she punishing him, she is also punishing herself.
Remembering Crystal, her face hardened. “What did you do to her”?
“I’ve not done anything. I felt that you would want to deal with her personally so I just locked her in the prison”. Lothaire raised his hands in surrender.
“Alright tell your people to release her and then you come in”! Heaven said, and walked inside.

“Tell Sam and the others to stop the torture now”! He said to Estaevan hurriedly.
Estaevan kept making an eye to Lothaire, telling him to stop talking but Lothaire didn’t get him, until he felt a pull on his ear.
“Lothaire Sill Frauncis. Do you take me as a joke”? Heaven spat as she pulled him into the Palace.
“Of course I’m the clown and you’re the beautiful Princess”. Lothaire laughed.
” What do I do with you”! Heaven sighed in resignation.

Heaven caught him off with a kiss. ” I don’t care, as long as your back in my arms”. She whispered lightly.
Lothaire took in a shaky breath, and pulled her closer to him. Just as he was about to kiss her, Heaven places her finger on his lips.
” The person who saw my by the pool the other time was it you”? She asked with raised brows.
” You were seen naked”?! Lothaire yelled in ânger. ” That’s lústful old woman. Good she really over played her role. She’s the village whøre for a reason!
“Was that person a man or a woman”? Heaven asked in annoyance.
