<ZOEY’S APARTMENT>

Zoey walked in her apartment in tears. Just like the others, she’s just coming back from the hospital and tears couldn’t stop streaming from her eyes when she heard Bryce was nowhere to be found.

She sat on the couch and cleaned her tears, her heart couldn’t stop beating fast out of worry.

The other shock that hit them was that Alex was his brother.. It was so shocking to them but the worst of all is that Alex is in a critical condition.

Her messed up thoughts were interrupted when she heard the door bell.

Zoey cleaned her tears and left to see who it was. The door bell was rang again

“I’m coming!”

She opened the door and eyes widened when she saw Bryce leaning on the wall, looking so weak while holding his right arm which was bleeding.

“S*xy pie” He smiled through the pain

“Bryce!” Zoey hugged him, not caring if his blood stained her clothes.

“Where did you go!? I was so worried,, I thought… I thought you left me too just like the others” Zoey cried loudly.

“I’m sorry if I got you worried love” He said and Zoey broke the hug. She gasped when she saw all the wounds he sustained.

“You’re loosing so much blood!!” Zoey exclaimed as she helped him in.

“I’m fine.. Like I always say,, I’ve been through worse” Bryce said.

Zoey helped him up to her room and made him lay on the bed. She removed his shirt for him and her eyes widened when she saw the state of his arm.

Looks like the explosion mostly took his arm..

“Don’t worry, I can still move it though with great difficulties” Bryce said.

“I’m calling the ambulance” Zoey said but Bryce stopped her.

“No please… If I’m taken to the hospital then there’ll be no way for me to save Abbie and only I can do it,,, I don’t trust the police to be honest.” Bryce said.

“But…”

“Tell me how’s my brother’s state” Bryce said and Zoey looked down.

“He.. He got shot and it’s critical” She muttered and Bryce’s face immediately turned to a worried and guilty one.

“Are you ready Blaire?” Mr Cooper asked and she nodded.

Ever since her mom’s déad, she became introverted and always had this plain look on her face. She was the one that suggested they leave the country for good.

Maybe with that, she’ll be able to forget everything that happened… Though the guilt will always be there.

Blaire looked back at New York City

“Goodbye New York” She muttered and climbed the stairs of the plane with her dad.

Soon, the plane took off to their new life’s destination.

A nurse could be seen checking on the vitals of Alex. It was almost midnight.

Suddenly, the machine began beeping really fast and he began convulsing. The doctor’s eyes widened, that meant nothing good.

“Doctor!! Doctor!! We’re loosing him!!” She rushed out of the ward

Soon, the doctor ran in with three other nurses. He placed the stethoscope to his chest and then soon, took the defibrillator and began using it on Alex yet nothing, the machine was still beating crazily.

He continued, trying to revive him back till suddenly Alex stopped moving and the machine stopped beeping as all it showed was a flat line.

<MARSHALL’S SECRET HIDEOUT>

“Arghh!!!” Marshall let out a painful cry as he extracted the bullet out of his body himself.

He threw the bullet down and with shaky hands he began dressing his wound.

“That failure of a son.. I’m sure he already ratted me out to the cops, all my years of hard work is down to the drain” He cursed as he walked out weakly out of the bathroom.

He was hungry but he knew going out to look for food will be the stupidest decision he’ll make so he endured.

The plane that’ll take him out of the country will arrive early in the morning and his fake passport and ID are all ready.

He laid on the bed and covered himself with the duvet..

“I’ll just sleep a bit” He muttered and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep immediately.

Almost 20 minutes later…

“Ahhh!!!” He yelped out when a syringe got stabbed on his neck.

His eyes flew open only to come face to face with Lucas. He held a very dangerous smile on his face

“Lu..cas” He called, feeling weaker. Just what did he inject him with??

“Shh,, just sleep well coz this will be the last good sleep you’ll ever have” Lucas placed his finger on his lips to demonstrate

And slowly…slowly… Marshall’s eyes closed as he fell into a deep slumber.
