“Guys should I cut my hair short?” Jasmine asked, touching her hair.

“What!! No!!” Gianna and Linda chorused.

“We even envy you curly red hair and you wanna cut it?” Gianna said and Jasmine laughed.

“Yeah besides, you look super cute this way” Theodore said from behind and Jasmine turned.

He placed a can of soda on their table and winked at Jasmine before leaving. Jasmine blushed as she watched him leave.

“So.. Are you gonna tell us what’s up between you two?” Linda raised a brow.

“Nothing!! H.. He just told me he likes me” Jasmine said shyly as she took the can of soda.

“Did you said you like him too,” Gianna asked.

Jasmine turned and looked at Theodore who was also looking at her. He winked and she quickly looked away.

She looked so pale and it looks like she also lost some weight. She was busy picking on her food while spacing out.

Well for two weeks now, Nathaniel hasn’t spoken a single word to her. She thought he’ll come through but she was gravely mistaken.

Each time she’ll try to speak to him, he’ll ignore her like she wasn’t there and these days he hangs out a lot with girls and she always sees them laughing and smiling as if nothing happens

“I don’t think he’ll ever forgive me” Arianna muttered as tears welled up in her eyes.

That’s what she has been doing ever since. Even her mother tried to cheer her up but it seems futile.

“Not again.. You just recovered from a high fever, don’t tell me you’re gonna fall sick again. Three days from now, you’ll be 18.. Cheer up for your party!” Gianna said.

Arianna wiped her tears and nodded.

Just then Nathaniel walked in with Dassie as usual. Seem like they became quite close over the weeks.

“So will you be free on Thursday.. I bought two tickets for a movie” Dassie asked.

Nathaniel suddenly remembered Thursday was Arianna’s birthday party. He quickly shook it off..

“Sure, I’m free” Nathaniel smiled as they walked to a seat.

Arianna watched them as they went to their seat but all through, Nathaniel didn’t even spare her a glance.

“That’s it” Theodore muttered and left the boy’s table then went to him.

“Nat.. We need to talk,,, in private” Theodore said and eyed Dassie.

“Guess I’ll see you around Nathan. Hey Theo” Dassie waved at Theodore as she left.

“Yeah” Theodore scoffed and sat down.

“Nathan,, seriously this is getting out of control. Since when did you became a lady’s men, if it was another person I’ll understand but you?? Don’t you think you’re taking it too far” Theodore said.

“Spare me some slacks would you?? I didn’t say I was going to f**k them or something” Nathaniel frowned.

“You’re not okay and you know that… Why don’t you just forgive her,, she’s really suffering just as much as you do besides the video has been brought down and also Nancy also confessed that the bet has been broken” Theodore said.

“The bet has been broken but what about the kiss video,, are you gonna tell me that my eyes or my ears were faulty. We both heard the same thing, you heard how she said she loves Travis and they f**king kissed” Nathaniel snapped and stood up.

Theodore also stood up too. People were already looking at them.

“They must surely be an explanation behind it” Theodore said calmly, trying to bring down the tensed atmosphere.

“If there is, where is it. Two weeks has passed,, where is that explanation” Nathaniel said.

Theodore kept quiet..

“Just admit it,, she played with my heart” Nathaniel said and turned then left the cafeteria.

“I’ll be back girls” Arianna said and immediately went after her.

“I’ve never seen this side of Nathan” Dean said as Theodore approached them.

“I’m really speechless..” Theodore sat down and sighed.

“Baby!” Cassie exclaimed as she walked to their table. Cole and Theodore hissed silently, while Lance had his head down on his phone.

She sat down on Dean’s thigh and pecked his lips.

“Hey guys” She waved but no one replied her. She rolled her eyes and looked at Dean.

“I missed you so much!! You’ve been so busy these days.. Don’t tell me you’re seeing another” Cassie pouted.

Lance suddenly bursted out in laughter. They all turned to him.

“Sorry, I’m just watching a funny comedy here on my phone where a cheat accuses her boyfriend of cheating.” Lance said and Cassie swallowed hard

Dean faced Cassie and tugged a piece of her hair behind.

“I’m sorry,, I’ve been preparing for our concert tonight” Dean said.

“Really?” Cassie smiled and Dean nodded.

“Hope you’ll come and watch me” Dean said.

“Sure, I’m your number one fan” Cassie said and Dean smiled then kissed her

Lance just smirked and shook his head

Gianna on the other hand swallowed hard as she watched them. Jasmine was the one that turned her face away.

“Forget about them,, that’s for the better” Jasmine said and Gianna smiled then nodded.

Nathaniel met Dassie on the way when he got out of the cafeteria. She smiled and tugged a piece of her hair behind her ear.

“Now is the right time to tell him how I feel” She thought.

“Nathan,, I have something to tell you” She said.

“Go on”

Dassie smiled for a while. Nathaniel looked up and saw Arianna coming towards him.

“Nathan actually I-”

Nathaniel quickly pinned her on the locker and slammed his lips on hers. Dassie’s eyed widened but it was just for some seconds coz she immediately responded to the kiss.

Arianna immediately stopped on her tracks as she saw the heartbreaking scene in front of her. Tears involuntarily came out of her eyes as she stared at them kiss like there was no tomorrow

When she couldn’t take it anymore, she turned and ran away.

Nathaniel immediately broke the kiss and Dassie groaned.

“Why did you stop?” She breathed out.

“I.. I’m sorry,, I didn’t know what came up into me. Just act like the kiss never happened” Nathaniel stuttered and left.

Dassie touched her lips and slowly smiled.

“If this is how your lips taste, I wonder how it’ll be down there.. You two are never getting back together,, never!!” She smirked.

Arianna barged into their classroom and it was empty. She walked to her backpack and brought out a bottle from her bag.

“I can’t take this anymore,, it’s too much!” Arianna shook her head then opened the bottle and made to drink it but someone grabbed her hand from behind.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Travis said and snatched the bottle from her.

His eyes bulged out when he read the label.

“Poison.. Arianna” He said shockingly.

“Give that back to me!! That was the last option I had.. The reason why I live now hàtes me,, why I’m I still living!!” Arianna cried as she tried to take the bottle from Travis.

“And you think taking your life will solve anything!!” Travis said loudly.

“Who are you to lecture me!! Besides it’s all your fault!! Why did you even had to kiss me!! Why!! It’s all your fault!!” Arianna shouted and pushed his chest.

“I’m sorry” Travis said lowly.

Arianna’s knees gave up and she sat down on the floor, crying her eyes out.

“It hurts.. I’m slowly dying” She cried bitterly.

Travis knelt in front of her and hugged her. She didn’t do anything to push him, she just let him be.

“I’m sorry once more… I promise I’ll talk to Nathan,, and I’ll do my best to fix everything.. Please promise me, you won’t try to harm yourself” Travis said.

Arianna slowly hugged him back as she cried on his shoulder.

Nathaniel ran all the way to the classroom. He really took it too far by kissing Dassie so he looked for her so he could apologize.

He opened the door and made to go in but the scene of Travis and Arianna made him halt.

He folded his fists tightly as tears welled up in his eyes. Without a word, he turned and left quietly..just the same way he came.
