“Today is Saturday!! I’m so happy!!” Linda exclaimed happily as she walked along the streets.
As usual, it was busy with people walking here and there.
“What should I do?” She muttered.
Today was her free day and she was planning on paying a visit to Gianna but that’ll be later.
She kept walking and stopped at the gate of the cemetery. She looked at it and sighed.
“Must be really sad loosing those you love” She thought, feeling bad for all those who lost their loved ones who were buried here.
She looked front and saw a masked man wearing a hoodie enter the cemetery. His wallet dropped on the floor and he didn’t seem to notice since he was still walking.
“Hey sir!!” She called but he was already far.
Linda picked the wallet and looked at the man. She sighed and went after him.
She got in the cemetery and looked around to see him in front of a grave. She walked to him and stopped few meters away from him.
The man crouched down and looked around to make sure no one was watching him before removing his hoodie and mask, revealing Cole.
“Mom..” He smiled for the first time as he touched the grave.
He touched the one at his right too..
“Dad..” He muttered.
“How are you guys doing? I bet you’re still arguing like you use to do” He muttered.
“Sorry I couldn’t come visit last week.. Had a really tight schedule” He said and looked up at the sky.
“The sky is blue.. Just the way you like it mom, I can still remember how we used to go to the beach during such days” He said and looked back at their graves.
A drop of tear fell from his eyes which he wiped and smiled.
“I really miss you two… Why did you leave me alone in this world” His voice cracked.
Linda bit her lips and shifted on her spot. Cole felt a movement behind him and turned to see her.
“It’s you” He turned front and cleaned his tears before standing.
“I… You dropped your wallet so I came to give it back to you.” Linda said, stretching his wallet.
He took it and dipped it in his pocket before facing his parent’s grave.
“I’ll leave now.. Bye mom,, dad.. I love you” He said and began walking away.
Linda looked at the graves before following him. Cole wore back his hoodie and mask as they walked.
“I’m sorry if I intruded your privacy” Linda said.
“Well that’s what you’re good at right?” Cole said looked at her.
He looked back front..
“My parents díed 4 years ago in a fire accident. I felt so devastated till I met those two fóols who became like my second family. Dean’s family took me in like their son and ever since I’ve been living him… I don’t even know why I’m telling you” Cole said.
“It’s good to sometimes free yourself.. I’m really sorry about them” Linda said.
“Not a day passes by without me missing them… At one point, I just thought of ending my life and-”
“Hey!! Hey!! Calm down dude!! No one is ending whatsoever” Linda said and went to stand in front.
“What about your two friends? Or your fans? Or your silly crushes? Huh? What about all those who love you? You’re gonna leave them behind just like that? Don’t be selfish dude” Linda said and hit his chest which he felt nothing
“You’re right…”
“I’m always right!! Righteousness should he my middle name” Linda flaunted her hair.
Cole smiled slightly which she couldn’t see coz he was wearing a mask.
“I know what will cheer you up!! Ice cream!” Linda said
“There’s a stand there. Come!!” Linda went to his back and began pushing him towards the stand.
“But I don’t like ice cream” Cole said.
“You’ll like it today.. By the way, bills are on you” She said and shinned her teeth.
Cole shook his head and faced the vendor.
“Two ice cream cones”
“Vanilla and chocolate!” Linda said and vendor nodded before serving them
Cole paid him and they both left while licking their cones.
“Chocolate!! My favorite!!” Linda squealed while eating her cone.
“Now that I think about it.. How and why did you steal my phone?” Cole turned to her with a frown
“Well…” Linda began scratching her head.
“I borrowed your phone at the mall and reason was because I needed a phone” Linda pouted.
“To watch p*rn” Cole scoffed.
“Hey!! I’m training okay? I can’t let my future boyfriend outdo me in bed… I hate loosing in any aspect” Linda said.
Cole stopped on his tracks to look at her.
“So shameless!! She reminds me of someone” He said inwardly, referring to Lance
