Tracy continued to struggle with the chief priest, trying so hard to free herself from him, but he was simply too strong for her.
She suddenly remembered something she learnt about what to do in the case of a rĂ pe attempt, and stopped struggling.
Sometime in her final year in secondary school, some corps members in one of their Community Development Services, visited her school, and taught them about the different ways to save themselves, in case of a rĂ pe situation.
They made them learn different ways of keeping their defense.
“One of the ways you can keep yourself safe from a rĂ pist is through “SING”.
“This stands for Solar Plexus-Instep-Nose-Groin, the four attà ck points you should focus on if grabbed from behind.

Tracy lay there beneath the chief priest, who now assumed she stopped fīghting because she had succumbed to him, and stopped pressing her down with so much force.
He was clearly having the best time of his life as his hands cupped her succulent sisters, massaging them simultaneously, while his mouth sought hers.
Tracy endured it all, allowing him to let his guards down totally, to enable her make her move. She was hoping to use the other technique they were shown
On the day they got the training on how to save themselves when in the danger of getting rapēd, someone had asked what one could do if she didn’t have the possibility of using the “SING” defense measure.
“I understand what you said about SING ma’am, but what can be done, when one isn’t in a position to do the stamping on the feet?
“What if for instance, I get attãcked, while I’m in a sleeping position, what can I do?” the girl had asked.
“The scariest position you can find yourself in, is flat on the ground, with your attacker sitting on top of you.
“But don’t panic. Instead of thrashing your arms around, wait for an opening when the assà ilant undoes his pants. Then, hit him in a sensitive spot, like his eyes, throat or groin” the trainer had said.
Tracy felt like throwing up as she continued to feel his hands massage her sacred melons, circling her nîpplès.

Maybe the chief priest was shocked to see her tears, or he wanted to behold her beautiful face again before he pushed his way in, but he paused for a few seconds to look at her face, and Tracy struck.
She hit him as hard as she could with her right elbow, getting him squarely on his throĂ t, and sent him roll off her in pĂ ins.

“Go to hèll you crãzy man. You’re not saving anyone. You’re just a supposedly sacred man, who lacks self control.
“Why would you ask me to come here all alone, if you knew you can’t hold your cûrsed third leg in check?
“Why didn’t you allow your wife come stay here with you, to quench your stupĂ®d urge for sèx if you can’t stay a night without sĂ«x?

“I don’t blame you at all! If you knew that whether you like it or not, that I’ll still be the one who will first cross you before anyone else does.
“And if you knew that getting off that mat before the ritual is completed
“Or worse still, letting the three market days expire without getting deflowered, when you have already started the first stage of the ritual will spell doöm for you, you’d be begging me to make love to you now.

“Call for me before noon. Kneel and ask me to make you a woman, and I may consider going on with the ritual, but if you fail to get deflowered before noon tomorrow, I will move to the next option!” Ozonge bellowed, making fear creep into every part of Tracy’s being.
She shuddered in fear as Ozonge got up from where he had fallen, and began to make his way out of the shrine.
“What do I do now? How can I save myself from this mess? Why didn’t someone tell me what this cleansing was all about?
“But wait a minute. He said his father cleansed my mother and got her pregnant with the seed that carried on the cursè.
“Would that seed be me? Could my mother have conceived me from her sexuà l encounter with the chief priest in the name of cleansing?
“But if that’s the case, doesn’t that make this lunà tic my brother?
“How can a man then wish to make love to his sister, all in the name of cleansing, if my assumptions are right?
“No, it can’t be. I know that I don’t look any bit like my father, but there’s no way I wouldn’t have known if he wasn’t my biological father!
“How could he have chosen to stay on with my mother, who gave birth to just me, if he knew that I wasn’t his? Tracy thought, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
She couldn’t sleep the whole of that night, as she lay on the mat, tossing to and fro, thinking about what to do.
Tracy knew she should get away from the shrine, but as much as she tried to ignore the warning of not getting out of the mat, she knew how unsafe and dangerous it would be for her to roam the forest, all alone, that night.
She decided to catch some sleep, and find a way around her tròubles, the next day.
Thoughts of Bruce filled her heart as she lay on the mat, and when she finally succumbed to the pulls of sleep, she found herself playing in a sandy Beach with Bruce.
It seemed as if she never had a problem, and that they were in a world of their own.
She woke up with a start the next morning, to realize that it had been all but a dream.
“You deserve to know why you won’t see me again Bruce. The ritual I’m supposed to undergo here are clearly impossible for me because the cûrsed man is to deflower me.
“I have been told there would be dire consequences for failing to complete the ritual, and stepping out of the mat here could mean deãth
“I have chosen to face whatever comes, and so, I know I won’t see you again.
“Goodbye my love, and remember me when you cross over to the other side, for I will be waiting for you” Tracy’s drafted message for Bruce read.
She kept her phone down, and waited for the right time to send it.
Meanwhile, Bruce was feeling very uncomfortable at work, and decided to drive to Tracy’s house.
Her mother was away, but her father welcomed him with open arms.
The two men got talking, and Chief Scot playfully reminded Bruce that he could give him Tracy’s bride price, at any time, since he had met with every other requirement stated in the marriage list before the unfortunate incidence that disrupted their marriage ceremony.
“Ah yes, why don’t I just pay right away?” Bruce said happily, and rushed into his car to get his wallet.
Chief Scot didn’t really believe Bruce was serious when he said he could pay immediately, but when he returned with the wallet, and brought out the official bride price, chief Scot happily took the money, and made the prayers and proclamations that now made Tracy his wife officially.
He was talking about when Tracy would return, and his plans to take her with him immediately, when he got Tracy’s message.
His eyes flew up in fear and shock at what he read, and asked with so much urgency to be shown where the shrine was.
“Ah! I’m sorry my dear, but you see that shrine, no human goes there now, until the concluding gong is sounded, to show that the ritual was successful.
“Please Bruce, whatever you want to tell her can wait until she returns. I won’t forgive myself if something bad happens to you” the old man told Bruce, determined not to allow Bruce anywhere close to the shrine.
Back in the shrine, the chief priest had noticed Tracy’s phone and smashed it against the wall in ãnger.
“How dare you bring a phone to the sacred shrine! Did I not tell you that after I deflower you, that you will swear an oath of secrecy, never to mention what happened here?
“You are not allowed to communicate with anyone, but you always have to do one thing or the other to disrupt this ritual. So, for the sake of the success of this ritual, I had to bring this” he said, blowing a grinded chalk over her face.
“When you leave here, you will not remember anything that will happen from this moment, and until I have successfully implanted an offspring in you, you won’t be able to make any moves.
“Only your mouth can remain functional now, because this charm can’t affect speech, but is potent enough to keep you where I want, and allow me make love to you, for as many times as I have to, before you’re qualified to leave here” he said, laughing hysterically, as he saw her making efforts in vain, to move her body parts.
He flipped the wrapper she had over her body off, and stood over her, smiling like a manĂŻac.
“Please don’t do this. I have a man I love. If failing to complete this ritual would mean my deãth, please allow me dïe chaste, because if you do this, I’ll still dië” she begged him.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t do your biddings. This affects you as much as it affects me.
“Plus, I am already like this. I won’t be able to function well again, until I have been able to discharge these minions that are now pushing to get off my propagator, and you know I can’t go to my wife because no body can come to this shrine until I sound the gong.
“So, just relax. You will feel better if you open your mind to enjoy this ride” he told her, and pounced on her.
