Kim Won came back from work like nothing happened, and Jillian was already waiting for him at the living room.

He sat, and she began dishing food for him.

“I missed your food” he said, and she smiled as he began eating.

He was eating the third chopsticks when she poured him some wine.

He picked the cup and drank from it immediately, and her smile turned wicked.

He dropped the cup and took his chopsticks to continue eating, but the chopsticks fell from him when pains gripped his chest.

He grabbed the chest and began sweating instantly, coughing repeatedly.

“It’s time up, I’m sorry. At least you got to enjoy my good before dying” Jillian said.

He fell from the chair to the ground and wriggled in pains for a minute before giving up.

Jillian grinned as she grabbed her phone, calling Tsunami.

“He’s gone. Now I need you to clear his lawyer. There’s no way the will will be read without him, so automatically, I get everything” she said.

She was still on it when Jacob came in, and his eyes widened.

“President!” He shouted, rushing to him.

“President! President!” Jacob shouted again. No changes, so he called the ambulance.

CITY HOSPITAL, 30 MINS LATER*

Jillian could be seen crying profusely in the hallway when Ruby rushed in.

She was out with Yuri when it all happened.

“Mum! Mum what’s up with dad? Mum!” She shouted.

“I dunno!!! I really dunno!” Jillian cried more.

“Calm down madam, he’d be fine. He still went for an health check yesterday and he was perfectly fine” Jacob said beside them, and then the ward door slid open, revealing the doctors.

“How’s it? How’s my husband?” Jillian spranged up.

“Actually… it’s a fatal 3 minutes failure. It happens as a result of overworking sometimes” he replied.

She walked in fast and stood with the doctors.

“Say it” she muttered.

“I’m sorry, but… President Kim Won is gone” the doctor replied.

“Mum! not you too!!! Mum!!!” Ruby shouted, running after the stretcher as they took unconscious Jillian in.

NEXT DAY, JEGUK HOTEL*

“Why does the meeting place have to be here?” Richie said as the planners came in. Everest and Mrs. Kelsey.

“Should we have planned it in my house?” Everest rolled eyes.

“Careful” Richie replied, and he sighed.

“In the past 18 years. Jillian frequented just three places. Kings Hotel, Kim mansion, and the third place which I’m very sure she’s keeping the money in” Mrs. Kelsey said.

“Where?” Richie asked.

“A graveyard in the outskirts of this city” she replied.

“Grave what?” Richie’s eyes widened, and Everest patted his shoulder.

“Nothing should shock you about them anymore, they’re not humans” he said.

“And tonight is the night we take the money. Unfailingly tonight” Mrs. Kelsey said.

“Then I should head to the burial already.” Richie replied.

“Of course, he was once your dad” Everest said, and Richie almost laughed.

“Jillian is about to get the shock of her damn life” Kelsey smiled.

BURIAL GROUND*

The ground is filled with mostly company rich men like Kim Won himself, all in a sad black apparel as they stared at the coffin which was placed beside the grave.

It’d soon be lowered.

Lovelyn is absent, and though it shouldn’t be bothersome, but Jillian couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Why the hell would she be absent at the burial of a father who has been pampering her for the past three days?

Ruby is beside Jillian, but her tears are fake.

Maybe the death of her dad is a blessing. At least, her mum will have unlimited access to his wealth, meaning more money for her too.

It was finally time to lower the coffin into the grave, and Jillian broke down in tears again.

“My husband can’t be gone!!!! He can’t be gone!!!! Won you can’t do this to me!!! Won!!!!” She started rolling on the ground like crazy, and those who didn’t want to cry started crying too.

“I pity her” Mira muttered, but then a black Mercedes drove into the ground roughly, and immediately it halted, Lovelyn came out of it, snatching the attention of everyone.

The second door opened, and Kim Won himself came out of it in a black suit plus equally dark shades.

If shock could kill, then 99 percent of the people would be dead by now especially Jillian.

She stopped rolling on the ground, and her eyes almost left their holes. The shock was insane.

“She’d probably bribe you with a delicious meal when you get home, but trust me inside the wine or water, there’ll be an injection” Everest continued.

“Stop blabbing!” Kim Won shouted.

“I have a call spy app on my mum’s phone so I overheard their conversation when your wife told her to send over the injections!” Everest shouted, and Kim Won gasped again.

“What!”

“But don’t worry. Even before the call, I changed the injections without my mum’s knowledge, so it’s fake. It’d make you lose consciousness though, but you’ll wake up after an hour” Everest said.

“What do I have to do?” Kim Won asked fearfully.

“Make a deal with the doctors and tell them to fake your death announcement to deceive her and play along. The rest is easy” Everest smiled again.

Kim Won and Lovelyn finally got to the center where the coffin is.

The mouths of everyone is still wide open in utter disbelief.

“Won?” Jillian muttered, shaking so much already.

“Who died? Please” Kim Won replied, taking off his shades .
