Raven brought out a key from her pocket. “I borrowed it from Indigo, I heard it opens every door and locks” Raven said

Amour stared at Raven with tears in her eyes. Did she come here to save her?

Amour sniffed back here tears. “No” She uttered and Raven looked at her.

“I want to see Aurelio before I leave this place. I want to know what he has to say” Amour said and Raven’s shoulder fell in disbelief.

“They’ll kill you at the first hours of the morning and you’re here capping sh*t about that man!!” Raven exclaimed and Amour nodded.

“Suit yourself” Raven hissed and stood up then began heading to the exit

Raven paused and looked back at Amour. Amour smiled warmly at her, despite the bruises on her face.

“Big sis loves you” Amour muttered and Raven’s eyes widened.

Amour was brought at the center and she was made to kneel down.

“Today we’re gathered here to serve the rightful punishment that belongs to snitches as such. Take this as warning of what will befall on whoever dares to go against me” Godfather muttered.

“Godfather, permit me to serve her the rightful sentence she deserves” Cheetah said and Godfather nodded.

She bowed before moving forward, one of the clan’s men tendered the sword towards her which she took and began advancing towards Amour with a vile smirk on her face.

••AURELIO’S SUITE••

The clan’s doctor was seen checking Aurelio’s pulse while jotting it down in a book. He made to touch Aurelio’s forehead when his eyes swung open

“Boss!” Jumpscared, the doctor exclaimed.

Aurelio immediately sat up but groaned immediately, holding his lower back that was shot.

“Argh..” He groaned, running his hands through his hair

“Boss, thank goodness you’re awake” The doctor smiled

Aurelio’s eyes suddenly widened when he realized something.

“For how long was I unconscious” He asked

“About 10 hours” The doctor said.

“Where’s Amour?”

The doctor took in his lower lip. “She’s.. She’s about to get slaughtered” The doctor muttered and Aurelio immediately stood up with great difficulty

“Boss, you should rest.. You lost blood and-”

“F**k out of my way!” Aurelio pushed him aside, leaving the room immediately.

“Arghh!!” Amour cried out when she was given the last lash of whip on her back. No traces of tears were seen in her eyes.

Godfather ordered for her to be tortured before kílled. Amour looked up at Cheetah with nothing but rage in her eyes

“Are you ready to díe?” Cheetah muttered only to Amour’s hearing.

“Better kíll me now coz if I live to see the next day, I swear I’ll become your worst nightmare” Amour muttered and Cheetah scoffed mockingly at her.

“Say that to the devil” Cheetah said and raised sword, descending her on Amour’s throat.

“Amour!!” Flame stood up immediately but Cisco held her back.

The sword stopped just few inches away from Amour’s throat. Cheetah’s eyes furrowed when she saw a hand grabbing hers tightly

She looked up and her eyes widened when she saw it was Aurelio.

Gasps escaped from the audience lips. They were so concentrated on Amour that they failed to notice Aurelio arrival.

Godfather slowly rose from his seat.

Aurelio looked at Cheetah. “Drop it down” Aurelio said with a tone that welcomes no objection from held.

Cheetah slowly brought her hand down. Aurelio released her and faced Amour who was looking down.

He squatted before her and cupped her cheek. She slowly looked up and her eyes widened.

“Au.. Aurelio” Her voice cracked at the end.

Aurelio touched the bruises on her face gently. “Who did this to your pretty face” He muttered so softly

Tears fell from Amour’s eyes as she stared at Aurelio. No amount of words could expressed how relieved she felt to see he was out of danger.

“Aurelio, I’m sorry.. I swear I didn’t mean to-”

“In all this was your love for me… True?” Aurelio cut her off

Amour looked at him for a while. “I love you to the point where it becomes toxic to live without you” Amour whispered and Aurelio smiled

“That’s all what I need to hear”

Aurelio stood back up and faced Godfather who was looking at him with a bewildered look on his face

“Release her” He muttered.

“What?” Godfather muttered

“I said release her… Now”
