The water in the pool wavered as Gavin emerged out of the water. He ran his hand through his black wet hair that stuck s*xily as he leaned at the edge of the pool, he picked the glass of wine waiting for him there and took a sip from it. His phone began ringing.

“Dad, what’s up old man?” He picked the call, taking another sip from his glass.

“Young man, where are you?”

Gavin sighed, “At my apartment. What’s up?”

“Since you came back, I saw you just once. I don’t even know if my son is well or not, do you want me to die because of over worrying for you?” His voice complained over the phone.

“Dad, I’m 23. You don’t need to worry about me, I just like my personal space.” He replied.

“Won’t you at least come back home for the weekend?”

“Sure, if that’s what you want.” Gavin shrugged.

They talked for a while before Gavin hung up. He got out of the water and picked a towel, drying off the water from his body.

“Umm sir-” A young lady almost bumped on him when coming out of the apartment.

Kehlani rushed in the female’s dressing room. Daniel couldn’t sleep so she had to stay a bit longer with him, causing her to arrive late.

She brought out her uniform and began wearing it in a hurry. Meanwhile two other girls were there two, having a conversation with each other.

“Did you hear the announcement? The club has a new owner.”

“I know right? I heard that the former owner refused to sell it to all the previous potential buyers. For him to sell it, I guess the new owner must have bid a huge sum of money.”

“I heard our new boss is very handsome too.” The girls giggled.

“Quick, let’s get ready. We have an urgent meeting with our new boss remember?” One of the girls said.

“Oh yeah, that’s true! Let’s get going,” And with that they both left.

Kehlani furrowed her brows, “We have a new boss?” She wondered.

She quickly got dressed to and followed the two girls to the room where the meeting was held. All the staff members were present.

They were all murmuring and talking with each other but the place became silent as everyone diverted their attention to a man dressed in a black suit.

“Good evening everyone, as you all may know this meeting was held in order to introduce to everybody the club’s new owner. President to your our new boss, Mr. Jason Wright.” The man gestured to the entrance and almost immediately a tall handsome looking man casually walked in with his bodyguards behind him.

Kehlani’s eyes widened. It’s him! It’s that pervert! Her wide eyes followed him as he walked till he stood in front of others.

Jason smiled, “Good evening everyone, it’s an honor to…” Jason began speaking but nothing entered Kehlani’s ear as she just stared at him with wide eyes.

“Did he buy the club because of me? Is this because of what I said? He wants to get back at me?” Several thoughts kept running through her mind.

Her chain of thoughts was disrupted when everyone began clapping. Looks like he just finished giving his speech

Jason smiled charmingly at everyone, waving at them. Kehlani just stood rooted on the spot, still trying to process the shock she just got.

Her heart sank when he looked at her making her to jolt in surprise.

“The meeting is over. Everyone can resume their work,” The man in suit announced and everyone began leaving.

Jason left with two of his bodyguards while the third one walked towards Kehlani.

“Miss, our boss is waiting for your presence at the VVIP sector.”

Kehlani stared at the hefty man before nodding. Without complain, she followed the man.

They got there and the man opened the door for her to go in which she did. She met Jason, sitting down on the king sized couch.

“Leave us,” Jason muttered and all his bodyguards left the room.

Jason stood up and took slow strides towards her with his hands in his pockets, “Like my surprise?”

“If you’re doing this because of what happened last time then you’re wasting your time. I’m not taking back my words, you’re a filthy pervert and you might as well fire me right here and right now coz nothing will make me change my mind,” Kehlani said.

Jason looked a bit surprised for some seconds but he smiled it away.

“Still resilient I see? Better,” He smirked and leaned to her ear, “I like the chase. It turns me on,”
