Gwen was still sleeping when Dominic’s phone rang. He sighed and checked it, it was his dad calling.

He rolled his eyes and cut the call.

“I don’t need to hear anything he has to say” he muttered and the phone began ringing again.

Gwen groaned in her sleep and he sighed. He angrily took his phone and stood up, placing Gwen to sleep comfortably on the bed.

He went to the veranda and picked the call.

“What is it dad? Stop calling me!” He said angrily.

“Come home this instant!” President Jameson ordered.

“I’m in school dad, you can’t order me around, why don’t you just leave me alone huh?” Dominic was already angry.

“Listen boy, I’m telling you for the last time to come home or I’ll come get you personally” president Jameson replied and hung up.

Dominic was a little close in throwing his phone but it took a deep breath and relaxed.

“I’ll just go to see the simple thing he has to say and come back” he muttered and went back to the room.

Gwen was still sleeping so he went to freshen up then took a small paper and pen.

“Livy we don’t have too much time too..” Octavia paused on her steps when she saw Livy laying down on her bed and playing games with her phone.

“Why aren’t you dressed yet!” She demanded.

“Please get out of my room Octavia” Livy rolled her eyes, still playing her games.

“We are going to the president’s house, your father is waiting,” Octavia said angrily.

“Then go and count me out,” Livy scoffed.

“I can’t take this” Octavia rolled her eyes and walked out of the room and a few minutes later, the door pushed open and the senator stepped in.

“I give you just one minute to meet me in the car or else..”

“Or else what, Senator George?” Livy stood up from her head and faced him.

“I’ll send someone to end the life of that pathetic boy you’ve been seeing behind our backs,” Senator George replied.

Livy’s eyes widened.

“You better not touch him, he’s the only one that cares about me! The both of you are just selfish!!” She shouted.

Senator George smirked and pressed his phone, he should hear.

“One minute, get dressed, come to the car or Mathew is gone!” He said and left.

“Bastard!” Livy gritted her teeth.

“Good morning Mr President” senator George shook hands the moment he came in contact with the president.

“This is my wife Octavia and daughter Livy” he introduced Octavia and Livy who were standing beside him.

They were actually in the dining room.

“Nice to meet you guys, this is my wife Judith and my son is on his way” president Jameson smiled and they all sat down.

Judith was secretly glaring at president Jameson.

“Your daughter looks beautiful” president Jameson commented but Livy rolled her eyes.

Octavia stylishly stepped on her legs and she forced a smile.

“I haven’t seen your son, where is he?” Senator George asked.

“I’m here” a voice sounded from behind and they all turned back to see Dominic standing by the door.

President Jameson smiled.

“That’s Dominic, my son” he said and Dominic moved forward.

He looked at everyone on the table then his eyes landed on the girl of his age sitting beside a man he recognized as the senator.

He slowly clenched his fist but didn’t say anything. Hope it’s not what he’s thinking.

“Dad, who are these people?” He asked angrily.

“You can see two elders in front of you so have a seat and greet them,” president Jameson replied, stylishly giving him some side eye.

“I believed I asked a fûcking question!” He replied.

“Dominic watch your words” Judith cautioned him.

Livy rolled her eyes and took a glass of water.

“Can you just sit and listen to what your father and I have to say?” Judith said calmly.

“No, I’m not sitting until I know what these people are doing here!” Dominic replied.

Livy banged her fist on the table when she’s had enough and all eyes went to him.

“Why don’t you guys just tell him that you want the both of us to get married” she shouted and Dominic’s eyes went to his dad.

“Getting married? Really dad?” He said disappointedly.

President Jameson looked at Judith.

“And mom you’re with him, I thought you were on my side here” Dominic added, staring at his mom.

“Baby..” Judith stood up but he moved back and shook his head.

“I’m glad we are all here, let me make it clear in front of everyone. I’m not marrying anyone, I have a girlfriend which I love very much and she’s the only one I’m planning to marry in the future” he said out loud.

There was silence in the whole room before president Jameson finally burst out in laughter.

“Plan.. planning to marry? You’re not talking about that church rat are you?” President Jameson coughed as he laughed.

“I’ll say it again dad, my girlfriend’s name is Gwyneth Lee, if it’s not her then it’s no one,I’m not marrying this girl!” He replied and Livy gasped then huffed.

“I mean duh! I don’t want to marry you either, I have a boyfriend too” She rolled her eyes and looked elsewhere.

“I’m glad we are on this page and if everyone will excuse me I’ll take my leave” Dominic turned around and began leaving.

President Jameson angrily stood up, he dipped his hands in his pocket and brought out a gun.

“One more step!” He threatened as he pointed his gun at Dominic.
