Just then my phone rang I went into the sitting room to get my phone. The moment I saw who was calling I felt hopeful.
It was Stella. I picked it hurriedly wondering what she wanted to say.
“Hello.” I heard her say on the other end.

“Ola, I just called to tell you this.”

I had lost my appetite. I called Stella numerous times but she ignored my calls.
The door opened and John came in.
“Welcome back.” I greeted.

John sighed looking at me pitifully.
” Let me go and sort myself out. I will be back.” He said as he went into his room.
When he came out in was in a blue top and a jean trouser.
“Are you going out.” I asked.
“Maybe.” He replied as he lied down on the sofa.
“This Cynthia of a girl. Do you know where she works.”
” No I don’t. I know nothing about her. All I know is that she is Stella’s sister.”
” Okay. But do you know you know where Stella works and the favorite places she goes.”

” Then tell me.” John urged me.
I felt a bit nervous but I told him.

“Where are you going to.” I asked.
