Sola was looking too shy and anxious for my understanding. We’ve been together for so long, and in all the times we got intimate, she had been as fierce as she could be.
I wondered why she was looking so worried, almost as if she was afraid of me. “Could she be detèsting me because of my past relationships?” I wondered.
“Are you okay my love?” I asked her as I sat besides her on the bed.
“Of course, I’m good. Just a little apprehensive” she told me.
“Umm, mind telling me why you’re apprehensive? Is there something wrong?” I asked, afraid that something could be wrong with her body.
“Is it possible that something is wrong with her body, and she chose to keep it from me?” I thought.
She told me she needed to use the bathroom and rushed into the bathroom, leaving me more confused and worried.
“I don’t know why she’s apprehensive, but whatever it is, if it is something serious, I’m sure she’d have told me” I reassured myself.
When she got out of the bathroom, Sola walked up to me on the bed and squatted besides me.
“My love, I’m afraid. What if you don’t like what you’ll see? You’ve had a very active sexuà l partner, and I do not have any experience at all.
“What if my inexperience puts you off? What if after tonight, you don’t want me again?” she asked, tears flowing down her beautiful face.
My heart nearly shattered into a thousand places as I looked at her worry herself because of my past marriage, when in fact I should be the one worried that she could judge me because of it.
I stood up, helped her to her feet and made her stand besides me, then wrapped my arms around her assuringly.
“My love, in the past, I felt all that mattered between a man and a woman was his ability to provide her material needs and give her the basic care, but my first marriage failed partly because I didn’t see the need to take care of my wife’s sexuà l needs.
“You know that when I began what I had with Madonna, it was built on a premise of lûst and desires only.
“I didn’t care about other factors that should have been considered, and there’s no gainsaying that it was a total mess too, a collosal shà me.

Our kiss continued to deepen, and before long, we were rolling on the bed, both of us trying to out do the other, as we expressed our hearts with a kiss so sincere and expressive.
When I started helping her out of her clothes, it appeared Sola didn’t know or didn’t care, because she was still lost in the kiss, letting her tongue trace all parts of my mouth, as if she was on a mission to see the places she’d never seen before.
Our bodies remained entangled, our mouths fused and our hearts linked as I continued to caress her smooth and immaculate body.
Sola kept shivering as I touched her in places I’ve never dared to reach while we dated.

We both laughed our hearts out before he told me that he asked me out for a few minutes to remind me that his wedding was in two days.
And just as if the days were in a hurry, his wedding day came before we knew it.
Chuks my friend, and his long time sweetheart, got wedded in holy matrimony in grand style.
Our ship continued to cruise and Chuks who had been dyĂŻng to remain locked inside his cabinet with his wife as well, got his wishes.
We hardly saw each other, except for special meals that our families agreed to have occasionally.
It was a cruise to remember, and indeed, we all had fun. But just before our ship berthed on our return, my wife started feeling sick, getting us all worried and we had to see a doctor as soon as we got home.
Turns out my wife was a good goalkeeper. She caught my shots so well, and we were on our way to welcoming a product of our love that went in liquid and returned to us solid, some months later.
Our first son, Andrew Junior was born just about two months before we were called to rejoice with Chuks and his family on the birth of their daughter.
Sola and I lived on happily, even though she had decided to quit working full time, after she was confirmed pregnant to enable her care for home.
She gives me peace and so much happiness, that I can’t stop blessing he day I met her.
Some months ago, we welcomed our second child, my first daughter, and just like you must have already guessed, we named her Sola.
We visited Nigeria with out two children some months aftwr the birth of Sola, my daughter, because my mother had been calling non-stop about wanting to see my kids.
My mother didn’t let us go out with the children, but of course, my wife and I had to visit Chuks and his family.
The women remained inside catching up, and I walked out with Chuks to let the women do their things.
Chuks told me how he had gone to the village for Christmas and had seen Jane’s children, my erstwhile children, now living with Madonna in her new house and how that Jane had returned to the village with two new children, having been abandoned by her lover.
When Madonna left my house back then, i wouldn’t have been able to bring myself to sending those innocent children away, but I am always grateful to God that Madonna chose to send them to them to her grandmother before she moved in with Garba, because I wouldn’t know how I’d have coped with raising other people’s children, in my new marriage.
In all, I was happy that they were too young to have made so much memories with me, to make them always remember me.
I returned to the US with my family about a month later, and continued to live happily ever after with my Sola.
