Blood oozed out of my finger and I groaned in pains.

“Are you OK?” Bryan asked anxiously.

He quickly bent over to me and helped me up.

My eyes widened in shock as I watched him rush out and in few minutes came in with a first aid box.

“Huh? I thought he doesn’t want to talk to me? ” I thought inwardly.

He applied some mentholated spirit on my wound and I screamed.

He helped me quench the blood and tied it up with bandage.

My eyes couldn’t believe it!

When did he become so caring?

Like he really care about me this much???

He treated my wound carefully.

“How do you feel now?” He asked immediately he finished up.

“Mmm…. Am… Am better” I managed to say.

He quickly got up and picked up his pillow again.

He walked towards the door with the pillow in between his arms.

“Bryan????” I called even though I tried to hold myself.

He halted but was backing me.

“What?” He asked with a stern voice.

“Am sorry….” I said as I burst into tears.

“You don’t need to cry,,, cos I don’t think I deserve those tears afterall all of this is just a charade” He said still backing me.

“Still I shouldn’t have embarrassed you in public,,, I know all this is just an act but it should look real right?” I said as he sighed.

“Good night!” He said with a cold voice as he walked out of room.

I breathed heavily as I hugged the pillow squeezing it tightly.

         🌺 Bryan's POV:🌺

I laid on the bed absentmindedly staring at the ceiling fan.

Her image kept reappearing in my head.

Maybe it will be best if I forgive her.

She didn’t really mean to make me embarrassed and insulted in public.

I got up from the bed and walked out of the room.

I went straight to the room where she was lying alone.

She was shivering in cold..

Cold shivers kept running down her spine as the wind blew heavily.

I hurried off and came back with the duvet I took with me.

That is actually the only duvet here.

I spread the duvet and covered her with it.

I walked straight to the opened window and dragged down the curtains.

I watched her sleep peacefully.

“Am sorry as well Arianna…. I shouldn’t have made you go through so much just because of my emotions” I said to myself.

I was still peering into her face when her phone rang aloud.

I picked it up and muted it.

“Marvin?” My eyes widened in shock and blared in so much annoyance.

That jerk…..

I quickly rejected the call.

Why can’t they all get their eyes off my WIFE?

The call came again and I rejected it again and again.

I quickly brought out the ring I took from her in my pocket.

I took her hands and slipped the ring into her fingers.

“I don’t know why am being so protective but this is rightfully yours” I said as I kissed her finger.

Just then,,, the phone beeped and I picked it up.

It was a message from Marvin…

I gritted my teeth in annoyance.

I quickly opened the message and read aloud….

“Dear Arianna… Let’s meet at the coconut bar joint by 4pm tomorrow please” I read aloud and smirked.

He’s so hotheaded huh?

I quickly replied the message.

“OK I will be there and plz don’t call to remind me,, I will surely come”

I typed the message and sent to him and quickly deleted the other messages.

“We shall meet Marvin” I said as I patted Arianna’s head.

           🌺 Marvin's POV:🌺

I got the reply and excitement filled my mind.

She will be there with me??

I breathed out in relieve as I picked up the box of chocolates and flower I wanted to gift her tomorrow.

I rubbed my eyes and forehead tiredly.

I don’t know but I really like Arianna!

And I will surely marry her once she becomes mine.

Thoughts of the beautiful chubby damsel filled my mind.

Actually,,, ever since I set my eyes on her… I’ve loved her.

I kissed the chocolate box and smiled.

The alarm rang noisy as I rubbed my eyes weakly..

I opened my weak eyes sluggishly and gasped.

How did this duvet get here?

That was I noticed the ring on my finger.

My eyes popped out of it’s socket almost…….
