“Are you serious?” Gloria half yelled as I nodded my head.

“Yeah… He’s out with one of his sluts” I said with a shaky voice.

“That’s so bad of him… But why do you seem too disturbed?” She asked anxiously.

I gulped nervously as I turned my face away from her.

She sipped the wine in front of her with the straw still looking at me for answers.

I opened my mouth to say something but words refused to come out of my mouth.

I closed my mouth again and scratched my head.

“Disturbed? I… I… Am not disturbed? Uhh… Why should I be?” I stuttered as I blinked my eyes.

“Are you sure?” Gloria asked glaring at me suspiciously.

I inhaled sharply.

“What are you talking about Gloria?” I asked with a sting of guilt.

“You know what am talking about…. Are you falling for him?” Gloria asked as I choked.

I coughed slightly before facing her.

“Did you say falling for him?” I half yelled as she nodded.

“You heard me… I can see the fire of love in your eyes” She said as I freaked out.

“Hell no… I can never be in love with that jerk” I said as I sipped my wine as well.

“I hope so cos you know all this is just fake and it will never last” She said as I bowed my head in sadness.

She is really right after all.

Here I am thinking about him while he’s there with some hag making out.

Tears welled down my chubby cheeks as I quickly wiped it off.

I can’t let Gloria see the tears.

“Arianna?” I heard a familiar voice say from behind and turned around.

I hopped into my car and headed straight out of the hotel.

Thoughts ran through my mind.

I thought this is what I wanted,,,,

Like I really wanted to make love to someone.

But why couldn’t I do it.

I stared at my finger and the ring I wore on my fourth finger in my left hand.

I picked up the phone and looked at the phone’s screen.

I quickly rejected the call as I dropped the phone again.

The phone rang again and this time,,,, I rejected the call and switched my phone off.

“Fvck off bi+ch” I muttered under my breath.

I was already home so I pressed on the car horn.

Few minutes later,,,, Nadia flung open the gate and I drove into the duplex.

She smiled at me and waved as I got down from the car.

“Hey bro….” She said and ran into my arms.

“Aww… How are you?” I asked forcing a smile at her.

“Am fine…’ She said as I walked into the house.

I peered around the house and noticed it was rather to quiet.

“Where is Arianna?” I asked with an arched eyebrows.

“She went out” She replied calmly.

“What? Where to?” I asked anxiously.

“I don’t really know” Nadia said as I breathed heavily in worry.

“You look worried…. Are you OK?” Nadia asked as I forced a smile at her.

“Am fine… Just worried about my wife” I feigned a smile.

“You should have worried earlier when you left us to your emergency meeting” Nadia snapped as I coughed slightly.

“I’ll go rest upstairs” I said as I walked upstairs.

Where could she have gone to?

I kept thinking and thinking.

I walked into the room and glanced at the wall clock.

It was almost 7pm.

I gulped down the last content of the glass of whiskey and belched noisily.

“I think you have taken enough already… You’re hurting yourself” Marvin tried stopping me but I pushed his hand aside.

“No… I don’t think I’ve had enough,,, I need more! I need to forget all my troubles” I said with a shaky voice.

The truth is,,,,, the thought that Bryan is somewhere with a whore makes me go gaga.

Marvin and I had gone to take few glasses of drink but I decided to take much alcohol.

Probably to forget my problems like I put it.

And I finally succeeded in getting myself drunk.

Marvin helped me up as I staggered again and again.

I coughed a little as I smiled crazily.

“You really have to be home by now… It’s past nine already” He said as I laughed.

“I need more drinks… Just a few more and… ” I said as hiccup didn’t let me complete the statement.

He drove me in his car and speeded out of the bar.

I paced around the room impatiently as I stood in front of the glass window.

Looking outside to know when she’s back.

Oh God!

I just hope she’s safe…..

In two minutes time,,, it will become to 10pm.

I was still worrying when I heard a car horn.

The car door swing open and to my greatest surprise,,, it was the guy I beat up the other day.

He opened the other side of the car and carried out my DEAR WIFE..

I freaked out…

I watched Arianna laugh crazily at him….
