Lamine Yamal continues to capture the attention of his followers, but this time it is his double, a regional soccer player from Cebreros (Ávila) , who has recently risen to fame due to his incredible resemblance to the forward.
Recently, the young man known as Lamine Yamal’s lookalike was walking down Passeig de Gracia , where he was mistaken by several Yamal fans, who approached him excitedly believing him to be the real Barcelona striker.
Who is Lamine Yamal’s lookalike?
Lamine Yamal’s double is Raúl González , a 17-year-old regional football player from Cebreros (Ávila) , known for showing an incredible resemblance to the current Barcelona star.
The figure has gone so viral that some of Lamine’s followers approach him to take photos with him. They also make videos that they share on social media and quickly go viral on the Internet.
In the Antena 3 program , Raúl mentions that being Lamine ‘s double has brought him several rewards, and one of them is earning money through the videos and content he makes: “I have earned something, through the videos and things like that,” he admits.
Raúl’s resemblance to Lamine is more noticeable due to the hair colour that both have. In response to this, he admitted: “Yes, I got it done because we said that if Spain won, I would have to get it done.”
In the interview conducted by Susanna Griso , Raúl was asked if his resemblance has helped him to get more girls, to which he replied: “Well, the truth is that yes.” He admitted that he enjoys his resemblance to Lamine, but that he continues to concentrate on regional football.
What do you think of its resemblance to Yamal?
“I’m told this a lot (that I look like Yamal ), in almost every stadium I go to they always sing to me and ask me for photos, at parties even more. I play in the same position as him, I’m a Barça fan and my idol is Lamine,” González said in another interview for “El Chiringuito.”
He also said that he thinks it’s good that people believe he is the real Lamine: “I wear it spectacularly, I like that people believe I am him : I know more people, I am better known… I like that people recognise me on the street.”
