Vee arrived shortly, and he got the right keys from the reception before walking in.

He actually suddenly got a call from Jazzy, telling him to come here, so he had to come out of curiosity after leaving the dorm.

He opened the door and went in, and his eyes widened when he saw Daniel on seat.

“Kang Daniel?” He said shockingly. Faniel smiled widely.

“Nice to meet you, Hwang Vee. Jazzy will soon be here” He said.

“Wait…what are you…

“What am I doing here? Jazzy is my friend so we planned to meet you here tonight… together” Daniel cut him off, and Jazzy came in immediately.

“Yo! Dude you’re here already!” He smiled, hugging Vee before he knew it.

“Hey…are we friends?” Vee said surprisingly.

“The fact that I called you to come here and you came…means you don’t hate me despite how I treated you in the past, and we can be friends cos I have a lot to learn from you” Jazzy replied as he broke the hug.

“A lot to learn?” Vee said in confusion again.

“Just sit first, stop being awkward” Daniel said, and Vee sat slowly with the two.

“I got your line from your girlfriend so don’t wonder too much and thanks for coming” Jazzy said.

“Let’s drink” Daniel said, pouring wine in the three cups on the table.

They clinked glasses and drank at once.

“Now down to the main deal. Vee how do I become a lover boy?” Jazzy asked seriously, and Vee choked on his drink.

“What the … Jazzy!”

“I’m serious, so don’t even turn me down. Daniel said I’m immature in romance so I’m trying to grow up” he replied.

“F**k” Vee muttered, and Daniel laughed

Jazzy was about to talk again when his phone started ringing again.

“What the hell!!!” He shouted frustratedly and grabbed his phone to smash.

“Stop! Who’s it?” Daniel asked quickly, and he sighed.

“My ex”

“Rhapsody?” Daniel said.

“Then pick up and tell her off if you’re not interested anymore” Vee said.

“I don’t want to, she might wanna meet” Jazzy replied.

“Just pick” Daniel urged him, and he picked reluctantly, clicking on speaker so they’d hear too

“Jazzy…” She cried.

“What again?” He asked.

“I promise this will be the last time I’d do this, but I really need your help. You know my condition, right? Please don’t turn me down and let’s meet now” she said.

“Meet where?” Jazzy asked.

“My house..

“I’m not coming to your house. Can’t be seen with you right now” he replied.

“Then I’ll send you an address, please be quick” she replied, and he hung up

“You’re going to her?” Daniel blinked.

“Yes. It’d be the last time anyways, but she’s tricky, so I need you both to follow me so she won’t try anything funny. You both can just watch us at a distance while we talk” Jazzy stood.

“Both of us? Including me?” Vee said.

“Who else do you see here? Come on dude!” Daniel pulled him up.

“Shhh” Daniel hushed, and Vee sighed before following them out.

They planned to come back after leaving Rhapsody, so they left in Daniel’s car.

Rhapsody sent the address before they started the drive.

They arrived at the old studio in ten minutes, and Vee grimaced immediately he came out of the car

“Who meets their ex in this kind of place? I’m even scared to go in” Daniel said.

“I feel awfully uncomfortable” Vee said.

“She’s not an assassin so chill guys” Jazzy said and led the way in.

Daniel pulled Vee in with him, and surprisingly, there’s no Rhapsody in sight.

“What’s this?” He said.

“This looks like a set-up scene in movies” Vee squinted.

“Exactly! Jazzy you should call her” Daniel faced him.

Jazzy got his phone to make the call, but then they heard a clicking sound behind.

The three turned back at once, and their eyes widened at once too when they saw masked Vodka in black behind them, pointing a gun directly at their middle where Jazzy is standing at.

“Lay low!” Vee shouted, and they all went down on their chests immediately the gunshot came.

The bullet rammed into the wall, and another gunshot came again, but they rolled away from their spots on the ground to another spot

The third one almost got Jazzy, but Daniel quickly pushed him away from the spot.

“You ok? Jazzy!” He called frightfully, and Jazzy began shaking, sweating as his heartbeats started coming rapidly.

He looked at Daniel’s terror-stricken eyes, and when he made to talk, he held his chest as his breaths started ceasing.

The attack!

“Jazzy!” Daniel shook him, and he began gasping for breath fast, holding Daniel’s shoulders tightly.

“My…my….. ches… arggggghhh!!!” He screamed loudly.

Meanwhile, Vodka dropped the gun already, he actually ran out of bullets.

He brought a knife out of his bag and started charging towards Jazzy and Daniel, but immediately he got there and made to stab Jazzy, Vee’s kick came from the right side, hitting his face.

He fell heavily, rolling down the floor.

He stood instantly, and Vee started running to him.

“”Vee! No!!” Daniel shouted.

“My chest!!!!!!” Jazzy cried out again.

Vee got to masked Vodka and made to throw him another kick, but he grabbed his leg and crapped him off and ground, landing him down.

“Ahhhh!” Vee groaned painfully as his shoulders got scratched.

“Vee!” Daniel shouted fearfully from where he’s sitting with Jazzy. He got his phone and even got confused on weather to dial the ambulance for Jazzy who’s crying in pains or the cops.

He finally dialed the cops first.

Strangely, Vee has perceived the perfume he’s smelling from the masked guy right now somewhere before, but he just doesn’t know where.

Immediately he stood from the ground, Vodka grabbed his hair and made to throw his head at the wall, but Vee’s hand was faster.

It went between his legs, and he grabbed his Mr. Man so tight, squeezing it madly in his palms.

“Argghhhhh!!!!!” Vodka’s muffled yelp filled the studio as crazy pains hooked him down there.

“Scream, bastard!” Vee spat as he squeezed tighter, and Vodka cried out painfully again through his mask.

He was forced to let go of Vee’s hair, and at the same time, Vee’s second hand went to the mask on his face.
