Everyone were stunned to see Amanda pretending to be the winner when she didn’t even compete.

Melody was later restored to her place as the winner of the competition as her house returned to normal and Amanda couldn’t believe it. But to think of it there was no particular reason about her hatred for melody, she didn’t even understand whether she’s being controlled in the Marine kingdom or what.
The jubilation was so much in the air as Melody’s name went viral and across both in TV and radio. She was being carried high up as everyone celebrates her victory especially those who knew her story and her background. Henry couldn’t hold how happy he was for melody as he stood watching how she smiled and laughing as the students were over joyous. Gladys too couldn’t hold her happiness even Desmond who was now Melody’s partner.
Amanda left the place unnoticed as she covered her self with a hood and head back to their house. Mrs Armstrong was in the house relaxing as she heard distant chanting and voices celebrating someone she didn’t know but hearing the name of her daughter melody being called gave her assurance that all is well as she leaped outside to see a large number of students from golden gates school not minding the hot sun and the distance celebrating melodys victory.
Though Henry defended her but she loosed interest in him but Henry had no option than to let her rest first before explaining everything to her.
It was really a great day for melody as she delivered the news of her studying overseas to her parent who knelt down thanking God for answering the prayers concerning Melody’s victory. Melody’s picture was now posted everywhere as the best student for the years, both in social media and in the streets while they were encouraging students to study hard as her.
Many bill boards were set in the street with Melody’s picture on it as the best student of the year in secondary school, everywhere she goes she feel like a queen seeing her picture everywhere as if she’s a model.
It was on a Saturday evening when she was busy making fire so as to cook, she was squatting when she feels someone behind her. “Liar! You betray my love and trust for you Henry. I love and trusted you Henry but you didn’t noticed it only to dump me and go for Amanda ” she said as sad memories came back and fresh tears kept flowing out.
“I know I should have informed you first but I didn’t want to o do it that way because that was the best choice then. Melody I can’t trade my love for you for anything sake. I love you with the whole of my heart ” he said kneeling down as melody looked away so as not to be affected by his fake tears.
“Henry I loved you too with the whole of my heart and you were my world and everything to me, but not anymore Henry. I’m sorry Henry it’s over between us” she said trying to control her tears but it finally came as a down pour.
“No melody, it’s not over yet ” a voice that sounds familiar interrupted her from walking out of Henry. She looked back to see Desmond looking neat walking to where they all stood.

“Yes melody, it’s not over between you both. Henry sacrificed his happiness, his time and his love for you just to make sure that you win this competition ” Desmond said with all amount of sincerity.
“I’m sorry senior Desmond it’s over between us. He didn’t loved me he only tricked me” melody said sniffing.
“Melody you have to know this that I have been walking with Amanda just to see you both not together, but the day I saw how you felt for each other I decided to let it go. I loved you back then melody but I couldn’t make you mine so I decided to partner with Amanda just to make you mine and Amanda to get Henry to herself but I later discovered the truth and I had to accept it that way that no body can separate your love for each other because I see all seriousness in you both.
So why are you treating this poor boy this way? I know it hurts but you have to accept life and let go of the past, he did for a reason to see you win the competition melody so think about this ” Desmond said hoping his word have effects on her but she was not ready to accept their apology.

“No need to think about anything melody, everything is true ” a female voice interrupted her from a distance which she turned and was stunned with who she saw. It was Gladys all the way. What’s the meaning of this or does it mean you all were aware of all this and allow me to cry out my heart out.
“Gladys! She called as she hug her crying on her shoulders.
“Melodys it’s okay, everything they both said is true. Henry here loves you with all his might, he was just using Amanda so as to get the truth and the solution to your problem” Gladys said

You see what happened on the first day of the competition made Henry to go far just to see Amanda down and to see your victory. Henry did everything just for you and you alone dear, he’s a good boy” Gladys said and she hug her really tide crying on her shoulder as Henry as Desmond smiled.
Melody finally walked slowly to Henry looking deep into his eyes, they hug each other. Henry assured her that all is well, he looked at her pink lips and placed a soft kiss on them as she reciprocated. Gladys and Desmond looked at each other and smiled at the two lovers closing their eyes.
“Please don’t spoil me for my mom I’m a kid ooo “Gladys said and they all laughed.
Henry and melody reconciled that day as they both went back to their various destination.
It was really a great day for them both as they kept calling each other again.
Amanda was not even seen in school again as nobody knew her whereabouts but she was still in existence.

Melody finally wrote her waec and her result was superb, the day finally came for her to move overseas to further her study in higher level.
It was really heart breaking for her to leave her parents like that behind without anyone to take care of them, she she’d tears and bade them goodbye heading to the airport to move out to Europe. Henry and Gladys wave at her as she move with a car that took her out of side. Henry was already missing her.
Immediately melodys car came on the highway, two cars were tracking them behind. The speed at which they carried was indescribable as one wondered what’s going and who they are after. Melody too didn’t understand what was happening not until the men overtake them and step down off the car dressed in black attires from head to toe, the door of the passenger car was dragged open as one of them point a gun at melody in the forehead.
“goodbye miss melody Armstrong, tell Satan I said hello ” he said and pull the trigger sending twin bullets to her forehead as blood rushed out and melody gave up the ghost. Melody died instantly as they all left her body behind without her parent knowing about what just happened.
Henry got home and relax in his room, just then a knock sounded on the door as he wondered who it was, he walked to the door to open it but was stabbed with a knife on the belly as he fall flat to the ground with blood all over his body. The knife had a letter attached to it with an inscription that says “That’s for betraying me Henry “.
It was really a sad day as both lovers end up that way without nobody knowing.
Amanda was seen in the streets in the evening hour with a black hood on her face without anyone knowing its her as she passed with a cigarette in her hands smiling mischievously.
The news went viral that melody Armstrong is dead.
