“Ariella!!” Ariel screamed, running towards the road, but just before she did that, Jaycee pulled her back. “Ariella, why are you trying to run to the road? You almost got hit by a car” Jaycee said.

Jaycee gave Ariel a can of soda, and Ariel sighed before accepting the drink from him. “Are you okay now?” He asked.
“Yes I am fine” Ariel answered curtly.
“You once had a sister?”
“I don’t want to talk about it” Ariel said.
“I will listen to whatever you have to say Ariella. A problem shared, is a problem have solved” Jaycee said.

“I will be fine Jaycee. Once I drop Dario in his house, I will give you a call, so you can pickup your sister’s car” Ariel said.
“Alright Ariella. Drive safely” He said. Ariel smiled lightly, and entered the car. All through the way to the hospital, she kept thinking about her sister, and it made her really sad.
Ariel entered Dario’s ward when she arrived in the hospital, and she saw him sitting on the bed. He was already dressed up, and he was obviously waiting for her to pick him up like she promised.
Ariel sighed and walked closer to him, trying to act as if she was alright. “Have you been waiting for Long?” She asked. Dario looked at her and smile. “I thought you won’t come back”
“If you had thought that way, then why didn’t you leave?” She asked.
“Because I was praying you’d come and you did” He said smiling. Ariel smiled lightly, and Dario knew instantly she wasn’t in a good mood.
“Were you able to catch the killer?” Dario asked.
“Yes we did. MCC is taking care of it. Let’s go Dario, you need to take some rest at home, because school starts tomorrow” Ariel said, plainly.
Dario looked at her for a while, before nodding his head.
“Where is your house?” Ariel asked as they both entered the car together.
“There’s somewhere I need to go” He said.
“Just tell me your house address Dario, I have something to take care of” She said.
“Since you are busy, I will just take a cab” Dario said, trying to get down from the car, but Ariel held him.
“Your wounds are still fresh. The doctor said you are not allowed to move around like you please” She said.
“Are you going to take me there or not?” He asked, blinking his eyes and Ariel sighed.
“Where do you want to go?” She asked.
“Just keep driving, I will give you directions” Dario said, smiling. Ariel started the car and drove out of the hospital.
“I thought you don’t have a car, how come you have one now?” Dario asked, as she drived.

“What are we doing in a game station, Dario?” Ariel asked as she looked around the station, which was filled with different kinds of game.
Dario smiled at her and made her sit on an available chair inside the game station. “I will right back, Ariella”
“Where are you going, Dario? Don’t leave me here” She said.
“I am not leaving you here, Ariel. I will be right back” He said, and went to meet the cashiers of the game station.
Ariel watch him as he talked with the cashier, and they handle a game card to him, and after that he came back to her.
“Here you go Ariel” Dario said giving him a game card.
“What this for Dario?” She asked.
“It’s a game card. You can pay for whatever game you’d love to play with it, there’s lots of cash in it” Dario said, smiling.
“I am not in the mood to play Dario” She said, trying to walk away, but Dario pulled her back. “I know you are not in a good mood, and that’s why I brought you here” Dario said.

“You are sad about something, and I know you don’t want to talk about it, so I won’t ask or force you to tell me. “Go ahead and play whatsoever game you want. It’s going to be fun, trust me. I can’t join you because my wounds are still fresh” Dario said, and when Ariel was hesitating to moved, Dario took her hand, and made her sit in a chair, which was meant for car race game.
“Go ahead, Ariel” He said, giving her the game card. Ariel slowly took the game card from him, and in just few minutes, Ariel sullen face began showing some smile, as she played the game.
She also played different games inside the game station, and seeing how happy Ariel was, made Dario so happy.
Ariel pulled the car into a halt when she arrived in the gate of Dario’s mansion, and she looked at him with a smile on her face. “Your can go in now” She said.
“You are okay now, right?” He asked.
“Yes I am fine Dario. Thanks for making me happy” She said.
“Can I get a kiss as a thank you instead?” He asked smiling.
“Do you want me to reopen your wound instead?” He asked, wearing a serious look on her face.
“I was just joking. See you in school tomorrow Ariel”
“You too Dario. Don’t forget to take your medicines okay”
“Fine. I will”
“Will you be able to do the trainings tomorrow?”
“Leo who is a senior student in MCC is a friend of mine, I will just talk to him tomorrow. So don’t worry about me, ok” Dario said.
“I never said I was worried about you” Ariel mumbled. Dario looked at her and smile. “Goodnight Ariella” He said, and came out from the car.
Ariel drove off, and Dario only went inside the house, when the car was out of sight.
“Where the heck have you been Dario? I was so worried about you, and you made it worst by keeping your phone at home” Madelyn said.
“I am sorry Mom. I just needed some time alone because Lorenzo was here. What about Dad?” Dario asked.
“I made up stories as to why you aren’t at home, if not he’d have contacted your school. You came to spend the weekend with us, but you never spent it with us”
“I am sorry Mom, I promise to spend next weekend with you”
“If you say so. But are you alright. You aren’t yourself. Are you by chance in pain?” Madelyn asked, trying to go closer to Dario, but Dario snuggle backwards.
“I am fine mom. I have to go back to school tomorrow morning, so good night” Dario said and went to his room. He locked his room door, and stood in front of the mirror, looking at his bandage stomach.
“I am sure she’s going to come back for me again. If she wants me dead for whatever I did to her sister, I am going to accept it” Dario said with a sullen face.
His phone made a buzz sound, he took his phone and sat on the bed, checking what the message was all about. A smile appeared on his face when he saw it was a message from Ariel.

Students could be seen patrolling round the school, and some hated to be back in school, because their training became harder than before.
“I hate it in MCC. I want to go back to my daddy. We are humans and not cows, they shouldn’t be given us trainings meant for animals. Dario is so lucky he escaped today’s training” Nora said.
“This is what you get for entering a cop college because of a Guy” Jessica said.

“Nora came to MCC because of Jasper” Jessica said.

“Jasper is a Playboy, so I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t know about it. Anyways my mom is taking me for shopping after school tomorrow, and she wants you to tag along. After shopping with her, we can return back to school before light out” Jessica said.
“Alright” Ariel said.
“Let’s go to class, and wait for Nora to finish running and come back” Jessica said, sarcastically. They both laughed and enter the class, and just as they were about to sit down, Caramel, Candace and Camila sat down on their chair.
“Sorry Ariella, but find somewhere else to sit” Caramel said.
“Get up” Ariel said.
“And what are you going to do if we don’t?” Candace asked.
“Should I show you what I can do to chewing sticks like you?” Ariel asked.
“Did you just call us chewing stick?” Caramel asked, standing up to her feet, Candace also stood up too, but Camila’s eyes were fixed on Daniel, who was talking to a girl.
“Yes because that’s what you two look like. You can sit down in this chair if you wish to, if that what will make your brains work like that of a human, because I think you have fish brain” Ariel said, and the students laughed.
“How dare you call us fish brains. Just because Dario and Jaycee always hang out with you doesn’t mean you are that beautiful” Candace said.
“At least I am not from an extended family of apes like you both. If my beauty is making you burn, just drink sniper. Because even if you both go under the knife, you both will still look like the two ugly stepsisters of Cinderella” Ariel said, and the whole cop students laugh.
“Ariella!!!” Caramel and Candace screamed trying to attack Ariel, but a lecturer entered the class.
“What’s going on there?” He asked.
“Nothing sir. Two sickened agric fowls were just cocking” Ariel said and sat somewhere else with Jessica.
“Everyone settled down, classes is about to begin” He said. Caramel and Candace looked at Ariel, Ariel smirked and gave them the middle finger.
“Ariel is going to regret calling us names” Caramel said fuming in anger.
“I just want to kill her. What’s your suggestion Camila?” Candace asked.
“Huh? Did something happen?” Camila asked, looking at them
“Are you trying to say you didn’t hear the whole insults Ariella threw at us?” Caramel asked.
“No I didn’t” Camila asked.
“What’s going on with you Camila, ever since you came to MCC, you have been absent minded” Candace said.
“I am fine” She said.
“Whatever Camila” Both of them said and faced the lecturer.
Camila looked at Daniel, and he gave her a look filled with hate, before looking elsewhere. Camila blink her eyes trying not to cry.
“Seriously Ariella, I thought you were the quiet type because you always wanted to be on your own, I didn’t know you are good to laying abuses on people”.
“That’s my calling, looking for trouble and insulting people” Ariel said, and Jessica laughed.
Classes began, Jaycee, Jasper and Brett entered the class, like wise Nora too, but all through the classes they took for that day, Dario didn’t attend, and Ariel was somehow worried.
“Why do you want to know where Dario’s apartment is in MCC” Leo asked. He is a senior students, who also have his own apartment inside MCC.
“Dario wasn’t in class today, I just want to know if he is okay” Ariel said.
“it’s light out already, I don’t know how you came out from your dormitory, but I think you should go back to your dorm. I am in charge of punishing students who wander around after light out, but I am just going to pretend I didn’t see you, so go back to your dorm Ariella”
“Dario was stabbed and I am sure you know about it, and that’s why you didn’t allow him to train today. I just want to see if he is okay” Ariel said.
“Do you know the precaution if you are seen in Dario’s room?” Leo asked.
“I know, and I promise you, I won’t get caught. Please just tell me where Dario’s apartment is here in MCC” Ariel pleaded and Leo sighed.

Ariel slowly opened the door of Dario’s door, since it wasn’t lock. She looked around the living room, but Dario wasn’t there.
“Dario” She said, whispering his name, and the next thing she heard was the heavy panting coming from the room.
“Dario!” She said, and quickly entered the room, and she saw Dario shaking his head left and right. His eyes were tightly close, and he was sweating so much.
“Please don’t kill me. I didn’t mean to to it, please don’t kill me, I don’t want to die” He said, with his eyes tightly closed.
“Dario” Ariel said, rushing to where he was. Dario woke up from his nightmare and hugged Ariel, tightly.
“I don’t want to die” He said crying, still hugging Ariel.
“You are not going to die Dario, it’s just a nightmare” She said.
“Please stay with me, don’t leave me. She is going to kill me, if you leave” Dario said, hugging Ariel tightly. He didn’t know he was hugging Ariel, he thought he was still in his nightmare, and someone has come to save him.
Ariel broke the hug, and look at Dario. His eyes were close, and he was trembling in fear. Ariel cupped his face, and caressed his face with her thumb. “I am not going to leave you Dario” She said and kissed him.
