    I was quickly dragged by the vigilante as if I killed someone,they locked me in their prison while two bodied men watched over me…..I will be killed and buried alive together with my families in three days time for a crime I knew nothing about!
    They couldn’t even allowed me to explain myself!

    Later in the afternoon that day, I was crying bitterly praying to God to deliver me from the prison when my friend Fred came to me….he cried bitterly as well after seeing me locked up in a prison….
    But who could have done this to you Mike??That person will sure pay?Fred said while tear were rolling down on his cheeks!
    So I’m going to die like this??I asked!
    Few minutes later, Fred left!

    The next day,my parents were brought into the village by the vigilantes!
    Immediately they set their eyes on me;we all broke out with tears and cries.

    Mike; So this is how you are going to destroy this family??what would have been done to a son that I haven’t done for you!__?my father said with so much anger on his face!
    So this is how we are all going to die Mike? my mother added!
    I tried to explain to them that I was innocent,my mum seemed to believe me but my father was very angry with me.

    We were all locked up in the prison waiting for the next day to come so we will be buried alive since we don’t have any option than to die.

    Ahhhh hmmm despite all that are happening in this community, some people still have guts to steal?Fred replied!

    Ok Fred, I have to be on my way now,see you later;I said!
    Ok Mike, let’s catch up later;Fred replied and I left!

    Lo and behold,three days later, search has began from house to house; these people were searching with so much anger in their faces..they searched and searched, finally,they were already in my house!

    I wasn’t having any fear by then, because my house wasn’t the last place they were about to searched,they still have more place to search!
    I took them to my room,I was standing there watching them as they were searching!my sight was concentrated on them,I was looking at them with so much seriousness so no one will just formulate any false accusation against me!

    They were searching and few minutes later,they walked towards my bed,i was watching them with all seriousness and one of the vigilante raised my bed up,lo and behold,this golden necklace was found under my bed!

    Whaat? no no no no please I’m innocent..

    So I came from a small village where we lived under a very strong taboo! it was a taboo in my village to steal, ones you are caught, you will be buried alive with all your family members without any excuses or explanation..for that matter, everyone in the village always tread with caution.

    I’ve seen when a young man together with all his family members were buried alive because they claimed he stole someone’s goat,they couldn’t even allowed him to explain himself..he was just buried alive with his family members! There was no one to speak for us, our veins were filled with so much fear

    It happened that one afternoon I was bathing when I saw someone sneaked into my room,before I could shout and get out of the bathhouse,the man quickly left..I couldn’t recognize the person and what he was actually looking for in my room,but I knew the person was a man..i quickly check and searched my room very well to see if there was any change but I couldn’t figure out anything

    I was very anxious about the whole thing that very day.
    The next day,I went to see one of my friend (Fred) and i narrated what happened to him…he was surprised as well!

    Fred, to be frank with you,I’m really scared;you and I know what we have been passing through in this community; I said while crying!
    Michael, this is very serious,to be honest with you, I’m confused;but who was that man and what does he want; Fred said!
    I don’t know, let it not be what I’m thinking; I said!

    I later went home and I was still thinking about the whole thing,I searched my room thoroughly but still i couldn’t figure out anything
    Fear started running through my veins because I know what people normally do in my village even though I don’t know what the man came to do in my room
