Things happen and though it concerns many, it hits some differently.
Growing up, I had two mothers. One biological and the other, one of my step mothers. I had two step mothers, but one of them, an angel in human nomenclature, remained a mother, clearly deleting the prefix “step” from her relationship with me
Now, I had a hard time telling this step mother of mine wasn’t my mother’s sister because the rivalry between my mother and the other step mother was clearly absent between my mother and this angel.
So, how do I accept the fact that after many years of calling her “Mama” and people referring to her as my “mama”, that I won’t get to see her again because she has suddenly decided to go join the angels above?
For over 48 hours, I’ve been waiting, wishing and praying to hear that the heavenly angels refused to let one of our earthly angels, the one who though was a step mother, was a second mother to me and my siblings, join them yet, but they have been too willing to welcome a saint home that they didn’t let mama return to us!
