    Mr. Sunday Adeyemi, a school owner in Ibadan, has reportedly disappeared with funds earmarked for students’ WAEC and NECO exam fees, leaving their educational prospects in jeopardy.

    The shocking revelation came to light through Adejoke Lasisi, the founder of Planet 3R, who took to Facebook to share the distressing news.

    According to her post, many parents had gone to great lengths, even borrowing money, to ensure their children could take these crucial exams.

    However, their hopes were shattered when they discovered that the school had not registered their children for the exams despite collecting the fees.

    Adejoke’s post was fueled by both anger and personal experience, as her younger brother had once been a victim of a similar incident. Fortunately, her family managed to rally support and funds to re-register him for the exams.

    The school owner’s actions were described as a betrayal of trust, especially considering he had operated “The Lord’s Favour” school for more than two decades.

    It was revealed that Mr. Adeyemi had allegedly sold off his properties, including his home and the school itself, to finance his escape abroad, leaving the students and parents in a state of disbelief and hardship.

    Adejoke concluded her post by emphasizing that while everyone has the right to seek opportunities abroad, it should not be at the expense of others, especially when it involves breaching trust and jeopardizing the futures of innocent students.

    I was in high school and she was in Junior Secondary School. There was about five year’s difference between us. I was a prefect in the school. I was the social prefect. She was in her first year in the secondary. She was nevertheless a bit too big for her age. That was why she wasn’t very afraid of me when I came to their class that morning to flex and exercise my new powers. I had always wanted to be a prefect, so when the opportunity finally presented itself, I was very happy. I fact, I was overjoyed.

    I was the social prefect and that meant I was in charge of all the school gala nights and every other social outings. I came from a good home by village standards in those days. A car brought my sisters and I every morning to school. We spoke English at home unlike other kids who spoke Pidgin English. My uniform was nicely tailored and I always carried myself with the airs of an aristocrat.

    Almost every girl in school wanted to hang out with me because of the aforementioned reasons. I had a lot of girls at my disposal. However, of all the girls I would have used, of all the hearts I would have broken, I fell in love with a first year student in the junior secondary.     I was in their class that morning to punish some students who didn’t show up for the normal Wednesday after school exercise. I had a long list in one hand and a whip in the other.     “Ok. I will do my best.” I promised. I was dumbfounded. Her courage, gentle ways and frankness had completely taken me off guard. I left immediately and went back to my class. I spent the rest of the day thinking of our encounter that I got distracted in class and was sent out of the Philosophy class. It was almost break time so it didn’t make any difference to me.

    It was break time now. I was sitting on a bench in front of our class when she happened to pass by. She came to me, greeted and didn’t continue.

    “What do you want?” I asked.

    “I sell sweets. Do you want some?”

    “No, I don’t have money to buy. I have had lunch already and I am fresh out of cash.” I explained.

    “I will lend it out to you and you will pay later.” She quickly said.

    She gave me some and I ate while we chatted and laughed. It seemed so odd and so strange because of the differences in our class and status in school. However, somehow it also felt oddly right.     Kaden and James noticed I and Tracey’s stare and glanced at us. Tracey quickly looked away and I rolled my eyes at her and kept on staring at James who shyly looked away pretending he didn’t see me.
    I stood up wanting to go meet him when Tracey pulled me back.
    “what are you doing?” she asked.
    “I’m going to meet James” I tell her.

    “Have you dated anyone before?” she asked as I sat down.
    “nope” I replied.

    “what made you two break up” I asked.

    “He said i was too clingy and that I was a burden, and that was it, he broke up with me!” Tracey explained and I gasped.
    “what? What a rude boy, how could he do such a thing” I exclaimed. “tell me about it” Tracey rolled her eyes.

    Everyone went back to class, and we did four more subjects before school was over. Immediately Tracey came over to meet me.
    “so.. Getting ready for drama class?” she asked as I shoved my books in my backpack.
    “drama what?” I asked and primped my hair back.

    “Drama class! Don’t you remember it’s among the school’s three main after school activity?” Tracey said and I breathed out an “oh” remembering when the principal mentioned it.
    “Well since you mentioned it, we Better start going, early birds take the morning breads” I quoted and Tracey laughed.
    “where the hell did you learn that, it doesn’t make sense” Tracey said still laughing and I joined her. “I just made it up” I laughed.
    It’s odd laughing with someone other than Naomi, but still feels great.

    We were the first to get to drama class and I met with the drama teacher who’s almost in his 50’s I didn’t have to introduce myself to him cause the principal already talked to him about me.
    The people attending drama class were so many, but amongst the full crowd I could still see James. The drama teacher taught so much about drama the prose and other stuff and after that we were dismissed and all went home.

    I sat down on my bed and placed my laptop on my thigh. Streaming the novels to read, but just then my room door opened and Naomi Walked with her curly black hair swaying around her face as she walked happily to my bed.
    “hi Sam. I came here as soon as I heard you’re from school” she said and sat down on my bed opposite me and I closed my laptop and smiled at her.
    “What? Was school that fun today?” naomi asked and I moved closer to her.

    “female duh!” I rolled m eyes

I was so confused I didn’t know who to believe or what to do, but then Mabel came and screamed seeing the blood ,” you both have to get to the school’s clinic” Mabel said and Fiona gave her a glare and said “stay away from freak”..mabel returned the glare and held Jenny’s hand and said something to her and they both walked away to the direction of the schools clinic..

    Fiona quickly came to me and hugged making my uniform stained with her blood.. I quickly disengage and yelled “what is wrong with you Fiona why are you so juvenile and delinquent.. You just think about your self don’t think about others why would you ever hurt Jenny, why, you disgust me a lot.. ” I said and she slowly cried and went on her knees “Jack please am so sorry for everything forgive me “..”please Fiona just stop all this” I said angrily and me and Dexter walked away

    School that day was not normal Jenny didn’t come to class at all but Mabel, I asked her about Jenny and she said she’s with her dad.. And I know it was trouble..
    I didn’t concentrate so much on the day’s work.. I just kept thinking about all these stuffs.. School was over and I head home. I saw my mom on the couch, eating and smiling.. Happily.. “good day mom” I greeted .

I took my bath and ate dinner ..after that I did my math assignment and started reading cuz our final exam is at the corner, but I couldn’t concentrate because of what happened earlier in school,

    During night time I kept tossing and turning on my bed I couldn’t sleep but later
 I fell asleep.

    The next morning I went to school and I saw Jenny going into the class I caught up to her and she was smiling beautiful and dammit she looked beautiful.. “what’s with the smile” I asked..
