      Remita walked briskly to the class but she met Genesis and Tasha on the way.

  " Hey!! Remita. Good morning" Genesis said.
      " How are you doing??" Tasha asks.

    A small smile crept out of Remita’s lips. ” Good morning. I am doing okay Now…thanks for asking” Remita said.

    " Jeez!! you look so much pretty this morning,tell me the secret...babe" Genesis said.

       " awnnn...thank you" Remita said and blushed .

    Just then Sophie appeared out of the blue .

    She was holding a pink rose and a small cup cake. She cat walked to Remita. She stood in front of Remita smiling.

    Students gathered.
    Remita frowned.

    ” Speaking of the devil” Tasha said.
    ” you are the devil here Tasha” Sophie said and smirked.

    Just then she handed the cake and pink rose to Remita.

    " My condolences" Sophie said and smiled widely.

The students began murmuring.

    Remita moved closer to Sophie.She frowned.

    " This stupid cupcake and rose of yours" Remita muttered.
      " My condolences...They are for you...they are for grandma" Sophie mocked.

        "Are you nuts?? Are you crazy?" tasha asks.

    ” Who give pink roses for condolences?? What the heck???. ” Tasha said.

     "And even cupcakes.Are you mad??" Genesis asks Sophie.

  " Y'all talking right? I am just greeting the poor Grandma...I even ordered the most expensive rose and cupcake for her" Sophie mocked again.

   " I don't need your filthy rose and cupcake...now get out out of my face " Remita blurted in anger.

 Sophie laughed. " It smells good right...Right now you are nothing but an orphan...a cheap prostitute and a bitch. You deserve to be alone for the rest of your life.  You are nothing but an orphan now. I will make sure you keep suffering till your last breathe " Sophie said.

Tears formed in Remita's eyes. It almost dropped but she held it in.

    Sophie saw the tears.

    She collected the cupcake and smashed it on Sophie’s face.

    The students bursted into laughter. Sophie became mad and angry.

    She was disgraced and embarrassed.

    " That looks good on you sophie" Remita said and left.
    The students started taking pictures of her.

    They posted it on the Internet, it went viral.

    Remita rushed to the ladies toilet. She rinsed her face with water. She held the tears in strongly. Because she had promised Nanare that she would not cry again.

     She cleaned her face.

    Then she went out of the toilet.

    She saw Darren in front of her.

    Darren stopped her. Darren stared at her from her head to her toes. He licked his lips.

    " Hey!! Are you okay??" Darren asks looking at Remita's bosom. 

  He quickly moved his eyes away so Remita would not catch him staring at her b**bs.

    ” Thank you I am fine.” Remita said. ” My condolences ” Darren says.

    Darren pulled her into a hug. Her b**bs stroked his chest. He feel her breast on his chest.

       Remita tried to disengage from the hug but Darren held her tightly.

    Remita breathe heavily. She held her chest in fear.

  He dragged Remita to his side.

     " You don't have any right to touch her like that" Red said with authority. 

Darren smiled. " Can't I hug my friend anymore??" Darren asked and smirked.

    ” Hugging her romantically?? You are harrassing her for goodness sake…Even when you know she’s struggling to get out of your tight grip” Red said in anger.

    Even when Red is angry he is still looking damn handsome.

  " I never knew that was his intentions towards me...I am sorry...don't get mad at me" Remita said almost crying again.

    Remita almost cried. Red pulled her to him and wiped her eyes.

" you know how much I hate to see guys touching you. it makes me mad!! Especially that guy" Red said.

    I was awakened by my ring tune, I checked who the caller was and discover it was my mother-in-law. With fear all over me, I sat up from my bed deliberating if I should pick or not.     With a shaky finger, I picked up the call.

    Mrs. Luis: Mr. Femi Oyewole, meet me at my house today by 4 pm

    At 2:30 pm, I found myself preparing to go to my mother-in-law, my father-in-law passed on two years after my wedding. She looked at me for some minutes before asking me to take a seat. That moment was one of the toughest because she was someone I hate to offend.

    Femi heaved a sigh of relief when he left his mother-in-law, he thought she was going to shout and say awful words to him, he never knew she would handle things with maturity. After catching his breath, Femi walked slowly to Kunbi’s room, praying that God would touch her heart. Getting into her room, he met her sitting close to the window, there were dried tears on her face which signified that she had been crying.

    A glance at Kunbi made him realize that she had lost so much weight, her eyes sunk deep and her face looks pale. His heart broke as he remembered he was the cause of all this.

    Their only means of survival was to gather firewood from the bush and sell. She was happy staying and helping the Grandma. She wasn’t worried about school because no one could afford to sponsor her education. She was comfortable with her life in the village. She woke up with fear one morning screaming and shouting, the Grandma managed to calm her and ask her the problem, she narrated that someone appeared in her dream trying to talk to her but she didn’t want to listen and that was why she kept screaming. The same dream happened several times and she kept screaming.

    One morning, she went into the bush to look for firewood, she met some other children in the bush that were talking about cultural competition and she decided to join the conversation but they ignored her, called her names, made jest of her and told her she can’t participate because of her family atrocities.
    That made her feel so bad and moody, she got home and asked the mother what happened in her family and why the villagers keep talking about her family atrocities. The Grandma kept silent for a long time and tears started dropping from her eyes.

    Bisola kept wondering why the Grandma was crying but the Grandma couldn’t say anything. Later that night, they went to sleep and bisola ran out of the house crying and screaming that the Grandma woke up walked up to her. The Grandma asked her what Happened and she narrated the same dream she has been having about a man appearing to her and trying to talk to her. After Narrating the dream, She also asked the grandma why she doesn’t have siblings and relatives that has come to visit them.

    The Grandma after hearing the story of the dream again and the question about not having siblings or relatives that comes to visit them, she cried and told Bisola to sit down for her to explain why she has been having that dream and who the strange man is…….as soon as they both sat down, the tears started dropping from the Grandma’s eyes and she started narrating the story of her family to her.
