    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Fifteen:

The next day we both went to the hospital to visit Olivia’s mother and Priscilla.

When Mrs. Sophia saw us walking into the room with Olivia confidently wearing our engagement ring all smiles, she smiled at us and nodded happily at us.

    We greeted her, elated.

She asked us to come closer and we did.

She told us to put our hands in her right hand and Olivia quickly took the lead.

Olivia put her hand in her mother’s open palm and I placed mine on Olivia’s .

“My greatest joy now is seeing that the evil I did in the past did not end up destroying your happiness.

Both of you will make a good family together and I want you two to try as much as possible to protect yourself from people like me and Mina.”

My heart broke. Having to hear my mother being used as bad example is the worst thing I never knew would happen to me.

“Dennis, Leah is a good woman. She’ll love you like your own mother and she’ll protect you in every area of your life.

Her heart is so pure. She’s so sweet and free minded.

Please try to love her, forgive your mother, forgive Leah too if she’s done anything wrong to you.

Accept her with your whole heart so that you all will live with little or know problems all the days of your life.”

Mrs. Sophia spoke gently while battling with her breath.

It was like she’d give up anytime soonest.

Leah was already shedding tears and I couldn’t help the situation.

Seeing my woman cry breaks my heart.

“I promise to always be a good boy with Leah.

Leah is heavenly and I will do anything to keep her happiness forever, Ma.”

“Please mother don’t leave me, dad is know more. Our church needs you.
I can’t handle that pulpit alone.

The world will be lonely without anyone to call my parents or siblings.

Please mother, please don’t leave me.” Olivia cried out.
I hugged her from behind in front of her mother and tried to console her.

“Olivia my love, life has an end. And my own end is here.

Leah will love you. Dennis will love you and I will love you wherever I am.”

She slowly pulled her hand away from us and stared at the wall opposite her for sometime before she turned to our direction again.

“Close your eyes let me pray for you.”

We both closed our eyes and she began praying for us.

She was praying when she breathed her last.

“Noooooo!” Olivia screamed and threw herself on the floor.

I carried her up and quickly took her out of the ward.

It was a difficult moment for us.

I never believed or wished Mrs. Sophia would leave the earth soonest.

But life will always be life….

Final day at the court, my mother was sentenced to death by hanging.

I ran away so I won’t witness the scene.

I felt extremely weak in my spirit to the extent I had to be admitted in the hospital the second time.

My mother was my world, my mother was my energy, my mother was my GO TO whenever I was broken and needed someone to talk to.
My mother was my everything beautiful on earth before anyone else.
My mother was extremely intelligent and knows what to say anytime and anywhere

But in all these, she let the devil ruin her.

    Oh I am hurting….

Olivia and I got married six months after her mother’s demise and Priscilla Nina Okoye found a place in her heart to forgive us.

Leah was the happiest woman on earth that day when Priscilla walked in on us eating lunch in the dinning room and joyfully jumped into her arms.

“Oh my daughter! My daughter!” I could hear her sob as she hugged her Nina passionately.

“Mother, Mother I am sorry life made all these happen to us.” Nina cried out.

It was all tears of joy.

We all hugged ourselves happily and celebrated a beautiful union.

Leah didn’t deny me a motherly love at all.

At some point I wondered if she was human. How can she love the son of a woman who caused her so much pain this much.

One day I decided to ask her and she just burst into laughter.

    “Dennis you’re my son.

Moreover I love my sister so much and she knows that.

Lastly, being good is a blessing and know matter what comes your way, never deviate from being a good person.

Cause evil never breeds good fruits.”

Leah is the sweetest mother anyone can ever ask for in Life.

Leah got pregnant and birthed two boys.

My wife, Olivia gave me a beautiful baby girl.

Nina and I couldn’t hide our joy as we welcomed our younger siblings.

We both took time and spoilt them with so much love.

Life is sweet…Just have the best people around you and every other thing will be in place.

    But remember,

    EVIL NEVER BREEDs GOOD FRUITS.

    THE END…!!!

    .
    ✨ Semi Final Episode ✨
    .

The next day I woke up feeling better than the previous day.

I was admitted in the same hospital as Priscilla.

Olivia, my father and my new mother, Leah were in the room and they appear excited seeing me awake.

Olivia came to sit close to me in the hospital bed all smiles.

“I thought I lost you my love, I am sorry about how I reacted to the whole thing at first. It was too childish of me to behave that way.
Please find a place in your heart to forgive me, Dennis.”

I felt a little burden lifted off my shoulder. God knows how much I have been praying to have my Olivia back but right now I was not in a hurry to accept her apology and jump into her arms.

I want to make sure she goes through the same emotional torment I went through when she called off the relationship.

“Where is your mother, how is she?” I asked, acting like I did not hear all she said.

My parents were standing behind her holding each other romantically.

My father looks so happy and his face brighten up like never before.

He found his peace of mind so why won’t he shine?

Love is a beautiful thing when you find a beautiful soul to merge with your own beautiful soul.

This kind of love makes you glow differently.

My father so much loved Leah. And that’s how I intend to love my Olivia till death do us apart.

“My mother is responding to treatment. But that part of her body where she was shot will not function anymore.”
    Olivia appeared sad.

“I’m sorry about everything that happened to your mother, Olivia.” My father cut in.

“Thank you sir. It’s not anyone’s fault. It’s her decision.”
    Olivia turned to me.
“I know you’re still mad at me and you’re right to be but don’t forget I still love you, Dennis.” Olivia said gently as she stood up and left the ward.

    My parents moved closer.

“Dennis, that girl really loves you. Please find a place in your heart to forgive her errors.
She’s human and acted in her human feelings.”Leah took my left hand in hers as she spoke.

“I love her more, mum. But I need to get out of here first before I know what to say.”

“Dennis, think deep and make the right decision.” My father added.

“How about Priscilla, how about my mother? What is their current condition?”

My father exhaled and put his two hands on his wife’s shoulder as he was standing behind her.

“Priscilla survived the storm. Your mother survived too but currently in jail awaiting the jury’s verdicts.

Sad thing now is, Priscilla’s adoptive parents have refused to let her go.

They threatened to sue us to court and Priscilla said she’s not ready to connect with us.

She despise us. She’s not happy to know we’re her parents at all.

And she’s not ready to forgive us.”

Leah had tears dropping out of her eyes as my father spoke.

“She told me to my face that I am the worst mother ever! She hates me Dennis.” Leah wept.

Priscilla has been through a lot too. Surviving the emotional trauma of repeatedly being raped and sleeping outside in the market when her father is a billionaire is really heartbreaking.

She has the right to be angry. I don’t blame her at all but and we can’t blame our parents either.

Leah was battling for her life when she was taken out of the hospital. Her father was forced to believe she died two days after birth.

We can’t blame our parents. The only person to blame here is my incredible mother.

“I understand how you feel mother, but we can’t blame Priscilla for acting that way.
Priscilla is hurt. Priscilla is broken.
I remember the first day I saw her at the park, she was looking so sick and hungry.

Sitting on that wet cold floor,
    thankhe memories are traumatizing.

But I will talk to her once I get back on my feet.”

“It breaks my heart so much that my daughter refused to hear me out. I was depressed for years thinking about her on that wheelchair.

I never left her. I planned a good life for my child. We planned well for her…” Leah cried out.
My father robbed her shoulder trying to console her.

    “Don’t worry mother.

    Just allow her to heal.

    Things will settle.”

Five days days later, I was discharged from the hospital and my family and I began the process of the court case on my mother.

My God, I hate the fact that I had to set my eyes on her each time we went to the police station.

Priscilla was still angry and had securities around her to keep us away from her.

On the forth day after I was discharged from the hospital, Olivia visited me at home to apologise again.

I was in my room trying to communicate with Priscilla’s family when Olivia walked into the room.

“I am sorry for not knocking. I was afraid you won’t let me in.” She looked down shyly, fiddling a White handkerchief.

“What are you doing here?” I feigned anger as I stood up from the bed.

“I am here to say I am sorry, please.”

“Olivia, I have another woman in my life so you need to leave right away.” I lied, trying to get her reaction.

She came close to me and peered into my eyes.

“Why are you lying to me?” She asked as tears ran down her cheek.

“Why should I lie to you?”

“Cause you want to hurt me like I did to you.” She hugged me passionately and cried on my chest.

I couldn’t pretend anymore. I hugged her back and kissed her hair.

“Short girl, I really miss you.” I teased her.
She looked at me and smiled.

“You know I’m not short, you’re just taller naw.”
    We both burst into laughter.

It’s been long I laughed this good.

“And about Priscilla, I really want you all to give her sometime to think for herself, heal properly before anything else.

She’s not ready to listen to anyone but I’ll try my best to talk to her.”

“Thank you so much Olivia. You’ve really done a lot for this family.

I really appreciate you for everything.”

She smiled and nodded like a baby, “You’re welcome my baby Dennis.”

I pulled her closer and put my two hands on her butt cheek and slowly planted a kiss on her lips but she quickly pushed me away.

    “What are you doing?”
She looked at me from my head to my toes, astound.

“Have you given your life to Christ now?” I laughed at her.

“What do you mean?” She put her hands around her chest.

“You don’t run away from romance.”

Since I have known Olivia, she can never say NO to romance even if she’s sick.

Know matter how weak she is, she’s always ready and available.

“You still have a bandage on. And you’re on medication. Where will you get the energy for sex?”

    “Stop thinking for me, Olivia?”

    “Are you in or not?”

She smiled broadly, revealing her beautiful white dentition.

Before I could take a step closer to her, she began unzipping her gown.

    “I can help…”
    I teased her.

She let her gown dropped to the floor, revealing her succulent bosom with her mind-blowing shape in a G-string pants but she still restricted me from touching her.

“Where did you keep the engagement ring?”

She asked, putting up a sad look.

I wasn’t expecting that question at all. This young lady was already standing naked before me and my whole body was already vibrating to devour.

And here she’s asking me for an engagement ring I don’t know where I kept.

Women are really dramatic o. Same person that threw away our engagement ring is now asking for it in the middle of this furnace feeling?

“Babe can you stop? I don’t know where I left it. I could buy another one and propose again, please.” I pleaded.

“Well….I don’t know where I kept my Vee baby as well… So until you buy another ring like that one, don’t touch me o.”

She bent over to pull her gown to dress up but I quickly stopped her and started looking for the ring.

I saw it in a dresser close to my bed and to be honest, I can’t tell you how joyous I felt that night.

I went on my knees with my bulge in my pants and proposed to her again.

This lady still did their normal women drama by waiting for three minutes before saying yes.

That three minutes felt like forever as my whole body was bur-ning to fulfill it desire.

Women! Women! That gender is designed to be extremely dramatic.

But with them, life sweet o

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Thirteen:

I felt I was dreaming seeing Leah attack my mother and the bouncer.

In facts, it was like a mystery to me that she stood up from that wheelchair.

I couldn’t believe it at all.

For twenty four years she has been there without saying a word to anyone except me today.

I don’t blame her at all.
Depression can turn anyone away from their usual self.

And Leah was not just depressed but broken, disappointed, betrayed and bullied by her own sister.

They say it is not the stab that hurts but looking back to see who is holding the knife; it doesn’t just hurt, it breaks one into a different world from the usual.

If Leah was told before now that her twin sister would make her life miserable, she would doubt it but facing the reality now, only God knows how she managed to survive the sad memories.

The memories of looking back to see someone who’s meant to love you as much as you love them, hurting you beyond words can express.

“How dare you Mina!” Her voice echoed in the building.

I finally gathered strength and stood up from the ground to attack the other guys who were trying to go after Leah.

My father was trying to free himself too.

I quickly grabbed the knife my mother used to stab me on floor and buried it into the arm of the guy behind me.

He let out a loud cry and fell down.

I pulled him to the balcony and pushed him out.

The other guys had fear written all over them . They were clearly afraid to die as they saw their boss pleading for her life before Leah.

“Don’t k-ill me sister, know matter what happens I’m still your sister.
K-illing is wrong.” My mother pleaded.

Her plea vexed me to my bones. How can a murderer preach that k-illing is wrong after wasting people’s life and even stabbed her own son?

Was she trying to be sarcastic?

    Maybe, yes.

“Mina, you’re the worst thing that ever happened to me.” Leah fumed.

The other four guys set to attack me but my mother told them to let me go.

    “All I ever did was to love you, trust you, forgive you countless times;
even after you drugged my husband and got pregnant for him,I did not hate you for that. I did not chase you out of my life.

I rather brought you closer and made sure you have a beautiful life with your son.

But you grew into a monster.

You sent my sister in-law to Poison me.

You took my daughter away from me for 24 years! Mina.” Leah shΓ΅t my mother’s right leg.

My mother cried out in pains and pleaded with Leah to pardon her.

“I can’t forgive you again, Mina.

You pushed my innocent child into the street in the rain and sun where she was constantly molested by those useless mΓͺ-n out there! Mina!
Why!? Why did you do these to me? Where did I wrong you ? Where?”

Leah broke down in tears. My eyes filled up with eyes but I tried not to let it drop.

    Crying is my weak point.

If I had cried when my mother stab-bed me, I would’ve been unconscious by now.

Mrs. Sophia was lying half dead on the floor struggling for her life.

Deep inside of me I prayed she’d survive it.

I did not want to see her d!e cause if not for her,my father and I would still be living with a devil called a mother and a wife.

Leah tried to pull the trigger the second time but it failed.

She threw the pistol away and walked back to balcony.

My father already succeeded in setting himself free.

The other guys had know guns on them. It obvious they were more like a guard to my mother and not gangsters.

As my father finally got on his feet, the four guys positioned to fight us.

My mother was struggling to get on her feet from the ground when her boys attacked us.

My father grabbed the first guy, picked the pistol up and sh-ut him in the eyes.

I was still bleeding that my vision became blurry and my hands grew feeble.

The second guy attacked me, pushed me against the wall and kicked me in the face.

“Let him go or I waste your life too!” My father came to my rescue.

I looked down and saw the other guys struggling for their life on the floor.

The guy took a few step away from me, put his two hands up in the air and went on his knees.

“I am only but a messanger. Please don’t k-ill me.” The young guy pleaded.

My father chuckled, wiped the sweat on his face with the back of his left palm and moved two steps closer to the guy.

“So you love to live? Yet you want to k-ill my son?”

“I am sorry sir. I was paid for this. I need money for my education so I accepted to do this so I can pay my fees sir.”

I felt bad for the young guy.

In his physical appearance, it obvious he’s suffering.

“There are so many beautiful means to make money legally to help yourself.

If you’re going to school to become a good citizen, you won’t consider this a choice of financial liberation to sort out your financial obligation, young man.”

“I was forced into it by my friends.”

While they converse, my mother already pulled herself off the ground, grabbed a shovel resting on the wall close to her and approached her sister, Leah who was standing at the balcony backing us.

My heart skipped but my mouth couldn’t let me speak.
I was wounded all over and weak at the same time.

I was totally weak as blood oozed out of me.

I tried to call my father’s attention to it but he wasn’t looking my way.

I tried to stand up from where I was lying on the floor but my strength failed me.

My mother quietly approached Leah at the balcony while my father was still talking to the guy pleading for his life.

My mother is not ready to let go. She really want to see her sister drop dead.

Just two steps away from her sister, my mother raised the shovel up not minding the blood flowing out of her right leg.

“Noooooo!” I finally found my voice to call everyone attention to it.

Leah turned back just at the right time and caught the shovel up in the air from my mother.

Leah took the shovel from her and pushed her down.

    “You’re so evil,Mina!

This is for my daughter! This is for me! This is for my husband and all the innocent souls you destroyed with your evil acts!” Leah spat out angrily as she pelt the shovel on my mother’s body three times.

Just then the police men arrived. My father put the pistol down and ran to Leah.

She walked into his arms and cried on his chest.

My vision turned black and total event in the building, impossible.

I was expecting my father to be happy with me that I revealed Leah is still alive but this man pinned me to the wall and yelled at me.

“How dare you!” His voice was so loud that it caught the attention of everyone here.

His eyes turned red like if it was possible, he would’ve shut me dead with its.

“So you knew all this years that Leah is alive and you kept quiet!? Are you following your mother’s footsteps? I thought I could trust you and give you a different life from what your mother has!”

I did not interrupt him. I allowed him pour out himself cause I understood my father was going through lots of pains.

“Dennis, where did I ever wrong you.” He was becoming emotional.

“You’ve never done anything wrong to me. You’ve been the best dad.

Trust me father, I can never live the life my mother has. I love her but I don’t love evil.
You know I will never support evil know matter who is involved.
I love a good life and for all the years I have been breathing on earth, I’ve tried my best to live right.

I got to know about it from Mrs. Sophia, Olivia’s mother.

    I thought she told you.”

My father loosed his grip on me and took a deep breath.

“That woman seem to know a lot and she’d also meet me in…”
He was still talking when Mrs. Sophia walked into the guest room.

He swallowed hard, glared at her and looked away.

“I’m sorry I kept all that away from your family.

I was just afraid Mina would k-ill me and take me away from my daughter; that’s why I decided to keep her secrets.

But now, I can’t keep it anymore.” Mrs. Sophia had tears running down her cheek as she spoke.

“How’s Priscilla?” My father was totally not moved by her tears at all.

“She’s fine and will bounce back but it’ll take some time.

She lost one kidney and her lungs were slightly affected.

    You just have to pray.

Doctors treat but only God can heal…”

Priscilla adoptive parents chose to keep an eye on her to avoid another pathetic stories while my father insisted we take him to see his wife, Leah.

    We didn’t hesitate.

We hopped into his car and zoomed off.

On our way, I noticed two cars following us behind. They took every path we used and every turn we took.

My father did not notice it likewise Mrs. Sophia.

I wanted to call their attention to it but I felt I was overthinking until we drove into the compound of the old abandoned house.

I saw the two cars parked far away from us.

I suspected it to be my mother or some bad gangs sent by her.

“Mr. Okoye, call the police right away. We are trapped.” Mrs. Sophia alerted my father.

Fear gripped me down to my bones.

“What do you mean?” My father looked around, fearlessly.

“I think they’re following us.” She replied.

“I noticed that too.” I added.

“Who are they? And how did they know we’re here? I hope you did not bring us here to k-ill us!” My father shot a deadly look at her but Mrs. Sophia stood still.

“Mina is monitoring your movement and if anything happens to us here.
It’s all your fault Mr. Okoye.

I brought Dennis here today and until we left, nobody came after us.” Mrs. Sophia was furious.

My father quickly called the police before we got out of the car and ran into building.

“We should be able to take Leah out of here before they get here.” My father said as we ran on the stairs breathing heavily.

Immediately we got to the balcony where Leah was sitting, these six strange men surrounded us.

“Your hands in the air and don’t move!” One of them commanded.

Leah was still sitting in her wheelchair, unmoved.

Another man handcuffed my father’s two hands to his back and kicked him down like a baby.

I couldn’t stand the sight so I retaliated in my little way.

I jumped up and kicked the young muscular guy in his face with my two legs.

He fell down but quickly got back to his feet and came after me.

I threw him a pun-ch in the face and grabbed his groin, he screamed into the air and fell down.
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain behind me and when I looked back, it was my own mother who just stabbed me from the back.

“You chose to destroy this family the very day you brought that girl into our family.

    I warned you, Dennis!

But you chose to betray your mother!

You followed everyone outside me to destroy me!

    I won’t surrender.

I am going down with all of you.”

She turned to Mrs. Sophia who was tied down on the floor by one of her men.

“I told you I will destroy you, Sophia.” She laughed out wickedly.
“Your death will be so painful.

So you took record of everything I told you as a friend and showed it to my husband.

And I just discovered, you made us bury a coffin with a moulded image inside.

    You lied to me, Sophia.

    You saved Leah.

    You betrayal!”

She stabbed her breast. Mrs Sophia let out a loud cry and the whole building echoed.

Blood filled the ground. From mine to Mrs Sophia.

Indeed, my mother is the devil’s wife or maybe the devil herself.

She went to my father who was also tied down to the floor and kicked his head.

    My father stayed silent.

“You know what, I loved you from the first day I met you in our church and when I tried all I could to have you, you chose my sister.

What were you expecting? That I will let go?

I am sorry, but I made sure I had my own share of you.

But right now, it’s obvious you’re tired and so, I want to send you to your ancestors right away.”

She grabbed a pistol from the guy who was standing close to Leah and just as she was about to pull the trigger on my father, Leah got up,
Pushed the guy beside her off the balcony, took the pistol away from her and kicked her to the ground.

My eyes shone in awe. I thought she was a crippled in a wheelchair.

“How dare you Mina!” Leah’s voice came out loud and furious as she matched forward to my mother who was trying to crawl away.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Eleven:

I knew deep inside me, we won’t meet up to save the situation so I thought of reaching out to my dad.

We had just four minutes left.

I called him seven times but Know response.

I had to call my spies at the hospital but I was skeptical about it because I realized my mother is more dangerous than the devil we all know.

I don’t know if she has gone ahead of me to corrupt the mind of my spies.

Nevertheless, I called one of them.

“What have you discovered so far.” I asked one of my spies who didn’t hesitate to answer my phone call.

“We were not allowed into the ward anymore and with what I suspect, they are planning to slow her healing and they’ve succeeded in removing the drip on her.
Boss you need to come here right away.

I saw the doctor and the nurse you met in the morning walking into the ward with a suspicious look.

I don’t think the patient is safe, sir.”

At these point I wish I had a magical power to teleport myself to the hospital.

Just then my father’s call came in and I quickly answered.

Two more minutes left. My heart was almost jumping out of it place.

“Father please you need to go to the hospital right away to save Priscilla in two minutes, she’s in danger.”

“Two minutes? It’s impossible, son. It’ll take me an hour drive to the hospital from here.
What’s going on, please talk to me.”

I lost the energy to reply and didn’t notice when the phone slipped off.

It was already passed the time we were given to save her.

Olivia’s mother had so much attention on the road as she was on high speed to meet up with the time.

“It’s six minutes gone…” I said to her but she did not say anything to me.

    “Answer your calls, Dennis.
Olivia is calling…” Olivia’s mother called my attention to my busy phone lying on my thigh.

I was reluctant to answer the call cause I felt she was calling to discuss our failed relationship which I was not in the mood to talk about right now.

“Olivia can wait for now.” I replied, not looking her way.

I felt bad not being able to save Priscilla.

What if Leah end up hΓ¦ting me for this? She might think I’m part of my mother’s plan to destroy her life.

My head ached. My eyes became blurry and everything around began to irk me.

“Olivia can also be of help, Dennis.”

She answered the call and put it on my ear while driving.

This woman is just too good in her driving skills but at the same time, I knew it was dangerous having divided attention while driving so I took the phone from her.

“Did you know Priscilla was admitted in the hospital I work? I just found out.” Olivia voice came loud but in a hurry.
She spoke in a hurry and it wasn’t her usual way to speak like that.

That really struck me back to life. I totally lost memories of where Olivia works.

Olivia is working as a neurologist in the same hospital Priscilla was admitted.

My God! How did I forget that?

“Dennis, I perceive danger here, I saw your mother walk out of the ward dressed in black with a dark shade on.

I am sure you’re aware her visit can’t be of no harm.”

“Can you help me check on Priscilla right away? Do not end the call, go into the ward tell me what’s going on right away, Please.”

I heard her foot steps walking and I quickly said a prayer inside me for a good results.

“What’s going on here Doctor Samphire?” I heard Olivia asked, she was talking to the doctor I met in the morning when I went to check on Priscilla.

There was know response from the doctor.

“Dennis, wherever you are now, I need you to come to the hospital right away, her adoptive parents left the hospital a while ago.” She said in a whisper and the line went dead immediately.

    “What did she say, Dennis.”

    “You need to drive faster.”

“I’m fast enough and anything more than this could end our lives right now.

Though I’m ready to die but I’m not sure you’re.”

I was becoming impatient. Know matter her fast she was driving, it was like she wasn’t driving at all.

We arrived the hospital same time with my father and Leah’s adoptive parents.

It’s like the hospital called them too because Olivia said they left a while ago.

I jumped out of the car and ran past my father but he caught me halfway in the guest room.

“What is going on Dennis, slow down and talk to me!?” My father shouted at the top of his voice.

He was panting like he just ran a marathon race.

“They…they want to…they want to poison her like they did to Leah.” I stuttered as I gasped for air cause my father was holding the collar of my shirt to my neck.

Priscilla adoptive parents were standing beside us and immediately I disclosed Priscilla being poisoned, they ran to the ward and we followed behind.

As Priscilla’s parents opened the door, we saw the doctor walking out of the ward alongside the nurse my mother called her friend.

“What happened to my daughter!?” Priscilla’s adoptive father yelled.

“I am sorry sir but she couldn’t make it.” Doctor Samphire replied.

Before he could say another word, I threw him a punch in the face. He staggered back ward and put his hands on his face.

“Wha…” He was trying to say something when my father threw him another punch in the face, grabbed him by the collar of his coat and pinned him to the wall not minding the way he gasped for air.

The nurse was looking for a way to sneak out of the room but I held her back her and pushed her into the chair behind her.

“I warned both of you this morning, didn’t I?”

She shuddered and tried to speak but her voice failed her.

“Dennis, Mr. Okoye. We need to attend to Priscilla right away.
This is not the right time for this.”

Olivia’s mother pulled me away from the nurse.

“She’s gone! Don’t you understand! They poisoned her!” My father replied, angrily.

“Don’t forget I am a medical practitioner, Sir.
Let’s give her a try. She’s not the first.”
Olivia’s mother was set to commence treatment on Priscilla and I trusted her cause she told me she handled Leah’s case.

“The poison does lot of damage in the body system but with urgent medical attention, the damage won’t be much like destroying the womb, longs, kidney and the heart.

First it put the patient into a deep sleep and slowly damage the body system to death, we could save a life if we start now.”

Just then Olivia walked in with two doctors and a nurse.

“Please you all need to leave.” Olivia said as she walked passed me to the bed where Priscilla was totally covered from her head to her feet like the dead.

My father groaned and grabbed the doctor along as we walked out of the room.

“You need to get this man arrested, father.”

My father pinned the doctor to the wall again and spat in his face.

“Who sent you, tell me nothing but the truth!”

    The doctor quivered.

    “Mina…Mina Okoye Gilbert.”

“What!” My father couldn’t believe his ears.

I was not surprise at all and I did not hide my feelings.

My father left the doctor, dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out his phone.

He made a call and while talking, he walked out of the corridor to the guest room.

    I followed him.

Priscilla father was already in the guest room with his wife.

    They were both restless.

My father turned to me and cupped my face in his left hand.

“Why are you not surprise to hear that Mina paid the doctor to poison Priscilla.

What do you know, you’re aware of this right?.” My father asked with anger written all over him.

I was stunned to hear my father ask me such question.

Why will he think I know something about my mother planning with the doctors to k-ill Leah.

My father always think in different angle whenever he’s upset or suspicious of somethingthing so I did not react angrily to his question.

“I don’t know anything. But Olivia told me she saw her leaving the hospital few minutes before we arrived here.

I don’t know anything except that Leah is alive…”

    “Leah is what!?”

The expression on my father’s face had mixed emotions, sadness and joy.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode TEN:

My father told me how Olivia’s mother narrated everything to him and also sent videos as evidence to him.

He showed me the video and I watched how my mother strangled her mother in-law to death because she was totally against my father being married to her after she drugged his tea and made him sleep with her while married to her own twin sister.

My late Grandmother was a very disciplined woman who would never support evil know matter who’s involved.

I heard she stopped communicating with her son (my father) for a year before her death just to prove her disapproval in her son’s decision to marry his late wife’s sister for a wish he’s not sure of at all.

At this point I wish I was never born at all. My heart bled uncontrollable ill feelings that for the first time in my life, I regret being born.

Imagine growing up to discover you were birthed by a monster in a human form.

A woman who’d k-ill her own sister just to have her man and her home.

This is the true definition of a man’s enemy is the member of his household.

“I hate my existence, father.” I wept before him.

My father stood up, came to my sit and held me up.

“Son, your existence is a blessing to humanity and me. I don’t regret having you know matter what method you were brought into the world.
If you don’t have any reason to love your existence, make me a reason.
Cause I love you…I love you, everything inside and outside of you, I love you.”

My father spoke gently but in emotional tone. It was like he was going to drop a tear from his eyes.
But he managed to hold it back.

He pulled me into a passionate embrace and on his shoulder, I decided to accept my fate.

He robbed my back like a baby as I rested my head on his shoulder.

    I felt relieved.

“You have me here and you have everything for now.

You should know we’re not created to have everything in life, and if you are unfortunate to have a good mother, take it as part of life and learn to live with this part of life.

What matters most is that, you have God and I pray you have a beautiful marriage life far better I had with my late wife, Leah.”
My father’s words were like a miracle of healing to my soul.

But in his words, I realized Olivia’s mother did not tell him Leah is still alive and I was not in a hurry to disclose it to him.

We got home and met my mother in the dinning room working on her laptop with a friend we’ve never met.

“Good evening mother,” I greeted as I moved closer to her.

She quickly shut her laptop and pushed it aside.

My father left us and went to his room.

“Who is she?” I inquired to know about the young lady sitting beside her.

She was a very young girl and if I should guess her age, she’d be twenty three years old or below.

    “My friend.
She has accommodation issues so I asked her to pass the night here tonight.
I will get her a better accommodation tomorrow.” My mother replied, kindly.

    “Is my father aware?”

“It was so urgent that I couldn’t let him know before now. But I will talk to him later.”

I stood up and left without saying a word to both of them again.

The next morning I left home earlier than usual so I could see Priscilla at the hospital and also check on Olivia before going to the office.

I walked into the ward and the first person I saw alone in the emergency room standing close to Priscilla’s bed was the lady I met with my mother last night.

“What are you doing here? And who told you to watch over her?” I asked, giving her a scary look. She was almost trembling and inside me I suspected she’s up to something.

She was about to say something when the doctor walked in on us.

“She’s a nurse in this hospital, Mr Dennis.”

I turned to the doctor and looked him straight in the eyes.

“I do not need her close to Priscilla, I don’t!”

“I am sorry Mr. Dennis but she’s the only one I’m duty for Priscilla.”

I could see through the doctor’s facade the clear signs of danger.

I feigned a smile and moved closer to him like I was going to swallow him up, “Be careful so you don’t lose your job.”

I glared at both the nurse and the doctor and left.

Before leaving the hospital, I assigned two spies on the doctor and the nurse and I made sure I paid them beautifully in other to get a beautiful result.

By 5PM that same day, I got a message from Olivia’s mother to meet her at the back of the company where I work.

I quickly put things together and drove to the junction where she was waiting for me.

She had a hood on even when the weather was hot.

“Why are you wearing that?” I asked as she hopped into the car.

“They’re after me. They want to k-ill me but I have to confess everything before I surrender.”

    “Who wants to k-ill you?”

    She smiled in response.

    “Where are we going?”

To see Leah. That’s my last secret.

I already told your father the other secret with videos as evidence but I did not tell him Leah is alive.

I’m leaving that into your hands to handle.

    “Why?”

“Cause your mother is monitoring your father’s movement but she’s unable to monitor yours because of the security password in all your device.

That’s why she knew he was at the hospital with Priscilla yesterday and currently, the doctor’s working on Priscilla are going under her order.”

My head spin that I almost hit a car in front of me but Olivia’s mother quickly held the steering and evaded the danger.

    She’s a good driver.

“What are they going to do to Priscilla, I need to drive back right away?” I couldn’t hide my fear.

“I don’t know but we can’t go back for now.”

I wasn’t comfortable driving anymore so she took over.

We arrived an old abandoned house of a three storey building.

She took the lead and I followed.

The whole house had know light, so it was extremely dark inside.

It looked like the ghost houses I see in movies.

As we approached the balcony at the second floor, I saw a woman in a wheelchair looking at the beautiful city from the balcony.

She did not make a move or turn to our direction even when she heard our voices behind her.

“She’s been like this for years since I took her out of the hospital.
She never spoke to me. She never made a move even if someone is standing close to her.”

I was scared to go closer to her at first. I felt she’ll curse me because I am the son of the woman who is responsible for her current situation.

But I mustered courage and approached her.

I went on my knees beside her and and put my left hand on her wheelchair.

She turned to my side and smiled.

Leah was NO DOUBT a beautiful woman with a white small beautiful set of dentition.

She looked so much like my mother but her eyes were much more beautiful than my mother’s.

“She’s smiling at you?” Olivia’s mother was amazed.

“You’ve grown into a handsome man, Dennis.” She spoke for the first time in twenty four years and she called me by name.

“How did you know his name?” Olivia’s mother asked, but Leah did not respond.

Leah still look young, beautiful at her age.

    She’s a queen.

“And you also chose a good way of life, Dennis.
    I am proud of you,son.”

Her smile slowly fade into sadness.

    “I am sorry, Aunty Leah.”

“Save my daughter, she has ten minutes chance of being rescued from their cruel act.” Tears dropped out of her eyes.

“Who’s your daughter and where is she?” I stood up and was in a hurry to run out to rescue the innocent girl.

“At the hospital. They are planning to inject a Poison into her like they did to me.

    Please save Nina for me.”

I was still confused as I did not know who she was talking about.

Before I could ask her another question, she held my right hand and looked me straight in the eyes.

“You call her Priscilla Gowon but her real name is Nina Okoye, your sister.

    8 more minutes Dennis.”

She was referring to Priscilla and it means Priscilla is my father’s daughter, my sister.

“Please can you go with me?
I can’t leave you here, please.”

” No son, I prefer my world here where I won’t have any chance of meeting evil people who are not happy to see others progress.”

I knew she was talking to my mother.

    That really hurts.

I went on my knees to plead with her to follow me but her response kicked me out of the building to my car.

“Save my daughter! Six more minutes!” She screamed into the air and her tears rolled down uncontrollably.

Olivia’s mother and I quickly ran out of the building.

But our journey would take us half an hour and we have just six minutes to save Priscilla.

    My God….

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Nine:

We got to the hospital and Priscilla was immediately taken to the emergency room for treatment.

Her adoptive father constantly shot a deadly look at me as we sat opposite each other in the guest room.

It was already 5PM in the evening but everywhere was dark cause it was about to rain.

    My phone rang none stop.
I checked it and I saw missed calls from mother, missed calls from my secretary at the office.

I dropped my mother a message that I’m fine but at the hospital with my father.

Then I turned to my father and whispered in his ears, “Can I go to the office now. I have lots of work waiting for me.”

My father didn’t say a word to me. He acted like he did not hear anything I said to him.

Then I thought I made the wrong request. I should not have asked for that when my friend, Priscilla is lying half dead in the emergency room.

“I am sorry Dad,” I quickly apologized to him but he did not say a word to me or make a move like a human being was sitting beside him.

I am working for my father and a day without going to the office, my father would discipline me and still Slash my salary.

My father was just too punctual.
He doesn’t joke with his business no matter Who’s involved.

At home he’s a loving father, at the office he’s a very tough boss.

My father treats me same way he treats his other staffs.

When I newly resumed work in his company, the staffs never knew I was his biological son until the day my mother came to his office to celebrate his birthday.

I went through the normal process of applying for the job just the way every staff in the company did.

I went for interview, submitted my application letters and credentials.

The company told me they would get back to me but I did not get a message from them for two weeks.

I went to my father to ask why his company were delaying to get back to me even when I am his son.

My father burst into laughter and told me no one in the company knows if he’s my father or not.

And he won’t give a job because he owns the company but he would only employ me if my certificate prove I can work with him.

And he’s not going to employ me into his company if his manager did not accept my credentials.

Then I realized I am a son of a well principled man.

I went back to the company and pleaded with them to give me a try and see what I can contribute to the growth, success and health of the company.

They said they’ll get back to me and I waited for another two weeks before I got a call from them.

I was almost giving up at some point but when I finally got a call of acceptance from the company, I quickly resumed work without delay.

Back to the hospital, I relaxed back on my chair and shut my eyes.

“You can go but remember, you’re still a suspect…” My father finally replied me but telling me I was still a suspect almost made me cry.

Like I might be taken back to jail anytime soon?

I said a silent prayer to God to help Priscilla make it out of this situation alive.

The young lady was terribly injured. She had a tear on her face, a tear on her two legs and a tear on her stomach.

I hope she’ll recover with her beautiful self again.

It broke my heart seeing an innocent girl suffer for no reason.

“Thank you father,” I stood up and left the hospital to the office.

I had a lot of work to attend to and the company closes by same 5PM I resumed work.

The other staffs closed for the day and I was the only one left to sign all documents on my table.

I attended to everything before 9PM. While I was preparing to leave, I heard a knock at door.

I told the person to come in and my father opened the door and walked in majestically.

I made a polite bow with my two hands aback and greeted him. He smiled and and nodded happily at me.

“I am proud of you son. For the past five years of working with you, it’s been all success and great increase every year.”

I felt a little peace and joy inside me. My head has been aching since last week because of all the drama I’ve been into especially my failed relationship.

This just gave me a little joy and a little healing from all the pains in my head.

“Thank you so much, father.” I bowed.

    “Sit let’s talk, son.”
I pulled a chair for him to sit before I sat down opposite him.

He cleared his throat, took my right hands in his and played with my fingers.

For the first time in my whole life with my father, I felt like his full son in his company.

My father has never been unkind to me but he has never been this sweet like today.

“Son, I know you’ve noticed what has been going on with your mother and I this few days.

You’re not a kid. You’re not a baby. You understand everything. Don’t you?”

“I do father.” I replied gently.

“Know deep in your heart that I love you with everything that makes me your father and no matter what happens, I am still your father and I love you and will do anything to make you comfortable in life except staying married to your mother.”

I felt cold and sick immediately.

    “I am sorry son.

But I want to dissolve the marriage.”

Goose bumb filled my skin and I couldn’t hold back my feelings as I let my tears dropped.

Seeing my parents apart was one thing I never prayed for and never wished for no matter what happens between them.

My father quickly wiped my tears off.

“Son, I know this really hurt cause children never love the feeling of having a broken home.

I never knew that one day I would come to this point in my life where I would want to divorce my wife.

But life will always bring up something new everyday.

I am doing this cause I discovered your mother is the household enemy I have in my life.

    I am so sorry son.

I tried my best to make life easy for my children but I’m sorry things are happening this way.”

My body grew weak and my voice thickened in pains.

I had no energy to say anything as my father spoke.

    “I found my daughter…”

“What!” I was astonished to hear that cause we were yet to go for a DNA test with Priscilla.

Or did my father go for it behind me?

” I know you’re surprise.” My father had joy written all of him.

    “Can I…Can..Can I meet her.?” I stuttered.

“Yes son, tomorrow. Cause right now you look so stressed and you need to rest.”

“Why do you want to divorce mom, father.”

My father took a deep breath, leaned forward, looked into my eyes and replied, “Your mother strangled my mother to death in her sleep because my mother was totally against our marriage.

And also k-illed my sister because she threatened to tell me that Mina told her to poison her twin sister in the hospital.”

I couldn’t believe what my ears heard.

If I was told by a stranger, I won’t believe it at all.

My whole body went cold and feverish.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Eight:

    I couldn’t believe what I read.

    Leah is alive?

It sounded ridiculous, impossible and strange in my ears.

Everyone knows Leah is not alive. My father said that too.

Now it downed on me that my parents are at the level of going apart.

If Leah is alive, this marriage is set to collapse.

The words ‘Leah is alive’ reverberated in my head until I slept off.

The next morning, I decided to do away with everything that was haunting me.

I quickly showered, arranged my briefcase and dressed up for work.

I was trying very hard not to think about everything happening around me as I prepared for work cause I didn’t want any distraction at work.

Then I remembered Olivia’s mother told me to protect Priscilla and I haven’t reached out to her since yesterday.

But who are those intending to k-ill her?

    My mother?

She can’t do that at all. That innocent girl hasn’t done anything wrong to her.

I went downstairs and met my mother in the dinning room having breakfast alone.

I greeted her and walked passed but stopped at the door and went back to her.

I put my hand on her shoulder, then I heard her sub. It really broke my heart.

I love this woman (my mother) beyonds words can explain.

But the evil she has done which I heard but I’ve not confirmed has really torn my feelings for her.

Though I don’t need to confirm from her if she did all I heard in that voice record cause her actions recently shows she’s guilty.

“Relax your mind mother, no matter what happens, I’ll always love you.” I tried to console her.

I didn’t wait to hear a word from her when I walked out.

On my way to work, I stopped by to check on Priscilla.

I did not go inside the house cause I was hurrying to work; so I called her to come out and meet me at the gate.

Immediately she came out of the gate, unknown masked men grabbed her and threw her into their bus that was parked behind me.

I saw the bus earlier before I called Priscilla but I didn’t suspect anything because I thought it was a commercial bus.

I was confused at what to do next; call the police? call my father? Or call my mother?

I was totally confused and scared at the same time but then, I thought of following them.

I plugged in my car key and went after them.

The bus was in a high speed and they took a path that was completely out of the human world.

The road had no homes, farm lands or police men.
It was totally silent, cold and surrounded with forest. Dark forest.

As we got to a place where Know human presence could be felt except us, the bus slowed down and the masked men came down and started shooting at my car.

The situation became tough for me that I had difficulty reversing my car.

I said a silently prayer to my God and managed to reverse my car and drove back home.

It took me two hours before I arrived home.

I barged into the house, panting.

My father was sitting in the living room working from home as usual.

He jumped up when he saw me barged into the house like I was being chased by ghost or something terrifying.

“What is going on, Dennis?” My father asked as he came closer to me.

“What’s wrong, son?” My mother came holding my arms, looking so worried.

Before I could say a word, we heard a knock at the door.

My father went to open the door and there we saw three police men with a man in his late 50’s standing at the door.

“Who are you? And what do you need in my house?” My father inquired, in his gentle voice.

The man glared at my father with his red eyes like he’d te-ar my father apart.

“Your son kid-napped my daughter and we’re here to arrest him.” The man spoke angrily to my father with his hoarse voice.

    My father turned to me.
His look scared me out of this world, his face was red, his eyes blare out anger.

I’ve never seen this part of him before. My heart almost pulled out of it place cause it throb was faster than the speed of my car at this point.

I opened my mouth to defend myself, but my father’s stare sent every word back into my belle.

I felt so weak and suddenly I fell on my knees with my heads bowed.

All I saw in my father’s eyes were pains, disappoinment, ‘a believe’ that I kid-napped Priscilla.

I don’t blame him at all. He might be feeling I’m following my mother’s ways cause I am a ‘Full mummy’s boy.’

I was closer to my mother than my father.

I had tears rolled down my eyes and then I felt handcuffed on my hands.

“Don’t take my son away!” My mother screamed at the police men as they led me out of the house.

I was jailed for three hours before I found my voice and finally spoke up.

My father came to the police station and I took time to explain everything to him.

I promised to take them to where I stopped while following the bus.

My father accepted and spoke with the man who was obviously Priscilla’s adoptive father.

I was released and to be frank, jail is one of the worst place to be in this life.

Three hours of my stay there felt like hell.
The floor was covered with dirty, mosquitoes everywhere and foul smell emitting from the inmates body.

I almost passed out while perceiving these terrible smell against my wish.

My God, jail is another place called hΓ«ll.

After three hours drive, we arrived the cold path where the masked men attacked me.

The police men flung into action and began a search.

My father and I stood beside the police van while Priscilla’s adoptive father sat in the car.

I looked around and saw a bus in a ditch.
It was like it summersaulted into it as the bus tires were upwards.

I called my father’s attention to it and he called the police men.

Priscilla adoptive father jumped out of the car when he saw us running toward the bus.

My father ran faster than everyone.

    His energy was unbelievable.

We got there and my father quickly pulled off the bus door.

There was only one person in the bus and it was Priscilla.

My father gently pulled her out of the bus and before we took three step forward, the bus went ablaze.

    We were all shocked.

Could they have planted a b-umb in the bus?

Priscilla was stiff, her face and body was covered with bloo-d and dirt.

My father gently put her in her adoptive father’s car.

As we were about to move, the masked men stepped out and began shooting at us.

The police men challenged them and we seized the opportunity to escape.

While in the car, my father leaned on Priscilla to check her pulse.

His countenance changed as he turned to face me who was already trembling in fear beside him.

“Is she breathing?” Priscilla adoptive father asked while driving.

“Drive faster. She’s half gone…” My father responded…

Thank you for choosing Siri as your online beautiful sweet story reading partner. Today we have “Mini Me Episode 7 Or Chapter Seven Of Mini Me by Real Alina Stories Or Novels To Read with Siri.”

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Seven:

I played the voice record and the first voice I heard was my mother.

“Why did you keep the child? I paid you handsomely for this, Sophia.
    How dare you disappoint me!?”

Her voice came out loud and violen-t.
I heard a slap in the background and it was clear my mother slapped Olivia’s mother.

“I made you what you are today. I brought you out of that dungeon of a house and gave you a luxury space to live and enjoy your widowed life, Sophia!”

“I’m sorry but I couldn’t soil my hands with the soul of an innocent child so I took her far away from the vicinity.”

Another slap came out loud in the background and it was my mother doing that to Olivia’s mother.

“Don’t lay your hands on me again, Mina. I’m not a kid and I have right to do whatever pleases me.” Olivia’s mother warned.

“You don’t have right to do whatever pleases you for a service I paid you for, Sophia!”

“You told me to eliminate the ch!ld of which I did. I eliminated the Innocent Nina out of your home.

That’s my own part of elimination, Mina.”

    “You…” My mother growled.

“That brat history is back to destroy my beautiful marriage and everything I have built with my man, she’s coming to destroy my home!”

    Olivia’s mother burst into laughter.

“Mina,” she laughed again, clapping her hands.

“You’ve built nothing with that man for the past twenty four years of living in a loveless marriage.

Just pretending and acting to everyone and your son that all is well.

I wonder how you manage the emotional torment of being with someone who doesn’t love you at all.

All the witch doctors you visited couldn’t help you out.

You don’t have a husband and a man yet, Mina. You’re still deceiving yourself.

For your information, the real owner of the house is coming home.

You don’t have marriage neither do you have a home.

My only concern is that innocent boy, he doesn’t deserve a mother like you.

Look Mina, I’m tired of keeping quiet.

I want to open up to the world about everything I did with you especially to my daughter.

    I can’t keep silent anymore.

I want to set my soul free.

Even if I die in prison, I know I was able to tell the truth know matter how much it hurts.

Truth always hurt you know, Mina.” Olivia’s mother chuckled.

“Don’t mess with me, Sophia. You know what I’m capable of doing!” My mother yelled.

    “I know,Mina.
You can k-ill for a living.
You can send your boys to k-ill me or harm my daughter.
I know what you’re capable of but…Watch your back, Mina.”

“Well, you know I’m afraid of nothing. Not only will I deal with you but nobody is finding out anything, not my husband nor my son and if you still have a reason to breath, stay out of my way…”

“Your husband is not unaware of what is going on right now and he’s a way too smart you know.

All he needs now is just the raw truth.

But right now, he knows he’s married to his worst enemy.
    Just be careful….”

The voice record ended and then I heard a knock at the door.

Before I could say a word to the person, my mother walked into the room.

“What’s going on son, the house keeper has been knocking on your door for long now.

    Dinner is ready.”

I didn’t say word to her.

She moved closer and cupped my face in her hands.

This is one of the things she does to me that makes me feel like a baby. It makes me feel loved beyond measures.

But right now, it feels like misery.

“I’m sorry I didn’t hear her knock. Maybe I was deep in thoughts.”

    “What are you thinking,son?”

I looked down and threw my phone aside.

“Listen son, Olivia doesn’t deserve you. She’s a bitter lady.

And whatever her mother said to you about me are all lies.”

“How do you know she said something to me?” My mother was taken aback.

She wasn’t expecting that question at all.

She hugged me and rested her head on my shoulder.

“I know she said something to you. She’s an ev!l woman.
Listen son, they’re out to destroy this family. They’ll tell you so many evil things about me but don’t fall for it, I’m innocent and I have never committed any crime.

The only crime I have committed was to love you, give you a complete home of father, mother and a child in a luxury home.”

I pulled her away from my body, stood up from the bed and took few steps away from her.

“Please don’t run from me, son.” Tears rolled down her eyes.

“I need you now more than ever please. Do not hurt me like everyone is doing right now, you’re my only hope.”

Today is the first day I would see my mother cry and it really hurt me like I was pierced in the heart.

I went to her and hugged her again.

We both went to the dinning together but when I go there, my father was not in his seat.

My father has never missed his dinner since I have known him.

His dinning chair has never been vacant except he’s out of the city or country for a business.

We sat down and I decided to look around for my father to be sure my eyes are not deceiving me.

“Where’s daddy?” I asked my mother who was comfortably eating her meals.

“He’s not having dinner tonight, he said he’s tired.” My mother replied, unperturbed.

“Mother, things are not going well in this family since saturday night after your birthday.

I am not a kid, mother.

Can you please explain to me what’s going on? My father can never miss his dinner when he is at home.”

“Nothing is going on son, relax. Your father is just stressed out.”

“Mother what is going on? Tell me the truth.”

“Couples have issues once in a while in marriage.

It’s normal. Please relax and enjoy your dinner, son.”

I was not comfortable with her reply.

In facts, I became unnecessarily scared.

I was scared of the spoon I was holding, scared of the chair I was sitting on, scared of the table, scared of the food before me and scared of the woman (my mother) sitting opposite me.

    I tried to pretend but I couldn’t.

I quickly dropped the spoon and ran back to my room.

I didn’t understand why I was running that way.

Imagine a thirty years old man running like a baby being chased by a monster but nothing was chasing me at all.

I locked my door and made sure I pulled out the keys.

I sat on the floor and screemed into the air. My voice was so loud that I heard knocks on the door and it was my father calling me.

I tried to stand up, but I was so weak.

All I needed was to sleep again.

He knocked for long and when he didn’t get a response, he said “Stay strong for me son, you mean the world to me.

    Good night.”

I managed to pull myself to the bed.

I grabbed my phone and opened my WhatsApp.

I wanted to check if Olivia dropped a message for me cause my head needed her attention right now.

I have sent her loads of messages but she just read them and ignored it.

    This one hurt differently.

Just then her mother’s message came in and I quickly opened it.

“I do not intend to destroy your family in any way.

I just want to free my head and know that when I die, I have know evil baggage in my hearts.

Don’t worry about Olivia, she’ll come around soon.

She’s mad at everyone including me.

I just need a favor from you, protect Priscilla.

    She’s not safe.

    They’re coming for her.

    They’ll k-ill her.

Her mother would like to meet her alive when she’s able to see her family again.

I mean, Leah is still alive.”

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Six:

I can’t remember if I have shed tears the way Olivia made me pour out my myself today.

I have never experienced a failed relationship.

Olivia is the first woman I’ve ever been with and for the three years of being together, she has been so peaceful, understanding, respectful and kind.

She’s just so good in all ramifications. I’m not sure I can afford to let her go.

I picked up my car keys and drove down to her house.

I knocked at the door twice before the door came open.

It was her Mother and she was not pleased to see me, unlike her who was always happy whenever I visit.

    “Good afternoon…”
    She cut me short immediately.

“What are you doing here, young man.”

“I am sorry mum if I have mistakenly done anything wrong to this family and my Olivia. I am so sorry please.”

“We forgive you but we do not want to ever have anything to do with your family anymore.
We’re Christians and we’re not ready to be associated with an evil soul.
    Please leave here right away.”

“I am so lost in this whole changed of attitude and I don’t understand who’s an evil soul.
Can I at least know what I did wrong?”

She kept quiet and Olivia shouted behind her “Your mother wants to ruin my family with her evil. I don’t want to see you here ever again!
    Leave my house!”

I moved closer to her mother “Mom, I call you mother cause I love and respect you as a mother. And for the past three years of being with your daughter, you’ve never been unkind to me and I really appreciate it.

Please can you explain things to me. I’m totally lost here and my head can’t figure out anything.

I am mentally distressed, please mother.”

She stretched forth her hand and touched my head, “You’re innocent of everything and you don’t deserve to be treated this way.
Please you need to go home and rest. You look so stressed.

We will drop you a message later, okay son.”
I was not satisfied but I had to respect her words.

I got home and met my mother in the living room.

I don’t know what came over me but I found myself approached her angrily.

“What are you hiding from us?” I asked without greeting at all.

“Where are you coming from, Dennis?” She asked as she stood up and faced me with anger written all over her face.

“I went to the eatery with Olivia and you know what, she called off our relationship.
She said so many terrible things to me.”

    “And?” My mother appeared unperturbed.

“I am pained. I feel pains in my heart and head.”

    “Funny, Dennis.” My Mother chortled.

“What does Olivia have that other women out there don’t have?
Is that why you’re looking like a half mad man? You have what it takes to have as many women as you want, Dennis.”

“Is that what you want? For me to have as many women as I want when I’m not a dog? Mother, what are you really saying?
Is that a noble life to live?”

“Dennis, that family don’t deserve us.”

“You think?” My father asked from the stairs as he approached us.

My mother looked away. I perceived trouble. I have never seen my parents this way.

“Mina…” My father called my mother by her name for the very first time of the twenty four years of staying married to each other.

“The only one who don’t deserve good people and good family as in-laws like Olivia’s family, is Mina.”

    My mother stayed silent.

My father turned to me, “Stay strong son, she’s just hurt for now but she’d come around soon. I assure you.”

I was flustered. My parents have always been that lovey dovey couples. But right now, I was seeing two love birds being hostile to each other.

“I’ve never seen you two like this, father.
    What’s wrong?”

My mother quickly cut in, “couples quarrel sometimes. It’s normal.”

My father quietly picked his car key and left.

I ran to my room to have a bed rest.

I’m exhausted beyond words can express.

I woke up and quickly checked if Olivia dropped me a message.

She didn’t but her mother did.

She sent me loads of messages and a Seven minutes voice records on WhatsApp.

I always have difficulty listening to voice records especially if it’s more than sixty seconds but this one, I was in a hurry to listen to everything and more.

I first read her first ten chats “Son, everything happened when you were yet to understand this world and it’s unkindness.

I have been friends with your mother and her late twin sister, Leah since our years in primary school till date.

Leah is your mother’s twin sister. The woman your father was legally married to before your mother manipulated herself into that marriage.

I have kept this away from my daughter for years now cause I saw how you both love yourselves and I didn’t want to spoil things for you two but I am her mother and I can’t watch her walk into something I am not comfortable with at all.

Your mother came to my house this morning to harrass me while I was preparing for church service.

She’s mad at me that I saved Leah’s daughter life against our initial agreement.

I am a mother and I couldn’t watch anyone sniff life out of the innocent child’s life, so I hid her in a carton and kept her at the dump where anyone can easily find her.

I worked at the hospital where Leah was poisoned after birth and because I was the nurse in that ward, I was a prime suspect and I lost my job for it.

My career died because of that very act.

The case was published in the internet and newspaper.

I will advise you to take time and listen to this voice record.

This is our conversation this morning when she came to harrass me.

I recorded everything unknown to her.

If you don’t believe my words, I’m sure you won’t doubt this record.”

I’m afraid to click on this voice record now cause I’m not sure I can handle what is inside.

In this whole thing, I’m yet to know if my mother poisoned her sister, ordered for daughter to be k illed but at the same time, I’m amazed Olivia’s mother knows about all these and chose to stay silent all these years even when her career flopped because of it.

    Was her life threatened?

    Why open up now?

    What happened all these years?

Could it be that I caused everything when I introduced Priscilla to the family?

    Is Priscilla actually Leah’s daughter?

    My world…..

    I don’t know what to think ….

Thank you for choosing Siri as your online beautiful sweet story reading partner. Today we have “Mini Me Episode 5 Or Chapter Five Of Mini Me by Real Alina Stories Or Novels To Read with Siri.”

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Five:

My father I know has always been a very humble man who’s very stingy with the words of his mouth.

You would hardly see him talk for too long. It’s tiring to talk when it comes to my father.

At these point I knew he was already tired of talking but I need to know the truth.

“If we must declare Priscilla your missing daughter, we have to run a DNA test.
But my mom said she died just two days after her mother passed away.

So…I don’t really think Priscilla is any way related to us.

    Just a striking resemblance.”

“I’m not surprised you feel this way, son.” My father adjusted in his seat and sat in a way he could face me.

I was just trying to pull my father to spill more details about his late wife.

I knew somehow Priscilla is not just an ordinary person and my father is too convinced that his daughter is alive.

“I made investigation when I arrived Nigeria and discovered my wife was poisoned. She did not die due to child labour.
    She was poisoned.
Moreover, the person made it clear to me that my daughter did not die in their hospital as I was told.

If my daughter is dead as declared, it’s either she was k!lled or relocated to another vicinity.

But your mother made it clear to me that the child was buried, yet couldn’t take me to her grave.”

I took a deep breath and parked the car for us to discuss better before we get home.

This story is obviously pointing all accusing fingers at my mother.

It means she knows what happened to her sister, Leah and the baby.

“When your mother got pregnant, Leah rented an apartment for her outside our estate.

Though Leah never abandoned her. She made sure Mina, your mother and the baby never lacked anything.

Six years after my wife graduated from the University, she got pregnant and then I got a contract outside the country.

Leah brought Mina back to the house after I left.

And she made me understood Mina is her blood sister no matter what happened and she’s the only person she could trust with her life while pregnant.

So your mother was the only one who was fully taking care of Leah until she put to bed.

On the 24th of July, I had a phone call with my wife before she went into labour.

    She looked healthy.

But after delivery, it was a different story entirely.

When I returned to Nigeria, Mina told me Leah made a wish that I marry her twin sister and give her a complete home.

I know I can do anything to please Leah.

So I married your mom and learned to love her.

And I wanted to make sure my son, Dennis has a family to call his own.

Leah always visit me in my dream and insist my daughter is alive and suffering.

The doctor also made it clear to me that my daughter was taken out of the hospital alive but Mina denied it.”

“I don’t know how I feel now father.
But if Priscilla is the missing daughter, I’ll be glad to have her in our home but I don’t want this to separate you and Mom.”

My father put his hand on my shoulder.

” I can’t promise anything for now son. But if your mother has hand in whatsoever happened to my wife and daughter….” He stopped halfway and took a deep breath.

“What ever you’re doing, as long as it’s good. I will support you.” I told my father who just smiled at me.

It’s now obvious my parents didn’t have the perfect marriage I envisioned to have.

My father married my Mom to fulfil a wish; a wish he’s not sure of at all.

And while staying married to my mother, he was still secretly looking for his daughter and making investigation on his wife’s death…

In his words, I perceived he’s ready to dissolve the marriage anytime if he finds out my Mom has hand in his wife’s death.

Off course my mother couldn’t be trusted after she drugged my father to sleep with her while married to her sister.

There was a total silence in the car and I didn’t bother to stare up more conversation cause my father was obviously hurting.

We arrived home and met my mother in the living room lying on the couch.

I greeted her but my father just went straight to ask her why she left church without letting him know.

    “I had a stomach upset.
I’m sorry I didn’t want to distract you.”

I left them and went to my room. Just as I was about to take off my clothes, my phone rang and my mom walked into the room.

    It was Olivia calling.

“Son,” my Mom called as she walked closer to me.

    “Yes mother.”

“I do not want to see that Priscilla girl in my house ever again.”
    I was shocked, extremely shocked.

My Mom is now making herself a suspect to this case on ground already.

“Why Mom? What is her offense? Why can’t she visit us?”

“Cause I said so. Don’t disobey me.” She walked out immediately.

Olivia’s call came in the second time but I wasn’t in the mood to talk.

I threw the phone on the table beside me and sank into my bed.

The phone rang the third time and I decided to answer it.

“Meet me at the eatery opposite your house, now.” She ended the call immediately.

I was reluctant to leave the house cause I was feeling tired and mentally distressed.

She called again and warned me not to keep her waiting.

Her voice came with anger and I decided to go meet her.

I met her sitting pretty in her church dress but she was obviously not in a good mood.

I sat beside her and took her right hand in mine but she pulled it off.

She opened her hand bag and brought out our engagement ring and placed it on the table.

“What are you doing?” I asked, surprised.

“If is about Priscilla please get that thought out of your head.
I don’t have any intimate relationship with her.”

    She chuckled.
“You can’t have any intimate relationship with her except you want to commit incest.”

“What do you mean?” I was stumped.

“I mean, I can’t marry into a home of someone who has the soul of a human but the heart of a devil!
I can’t marry into the home of someone who can lay down the life of anyone, anyone! Wether family or friends, just to have what does not belong to her.

And if anything happens to my mother, if anything happens to my mother!

You all will meet me in court!”

    She stormed out.

My head ached, tears welled up in my eyes and my heart felt a kind of pain I have never experienced in my whole life…

Thank you for choosing Siri as your online beautiful sweet story reading partner. Today we have “Mini Me Episode 4 Or Chapter Four Of Mini Me by Real Alina Stories Or Novels To Read with Siri.”

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Four:

The next morning after we were done dressing up for church, Olivia sat me down to ask me questions about Priscilla.

I knew she would definitely come up with this so I wasn’t caught unaware.

    Women will always be women.

    “She’s just my friend.”

    “Just a friend, Dennis?”

Olivia thought I was having intimate relationship with Priscilla and felt she’s the one my family like cause of how how my parents welcomed her.

“I saw how your father stole glances at her last night. Your mom danced with her with so much joy and comfort.

Where were you when your mother was calling you last night? What were both of you doing?”

    “Are you jealous Olivia?”
I asked to provoke her more.

“What!? What do you mean, Dennis?”

“It’s baby, not Dennis.” She swallowed hard.
Her was face had anger written all over.

“When you’re done being jealous, join me in the dinning room.
I’m sure my parents are waiting for us.”

I walked out on her. I know she needed a very clear explanation of who Priscilla is to me.

But not now. I have to figure things out myself before bringing it to her table.

I walked into dinning room and met my parents and Priscilla already having breakfast.

I greeted them, pulled a chair and sat opposite Priscilla who was sitting beautifully in her red wine dress and light make up.

Olivia walked in wearing a beautiful smile but I could see through the smile that she was upset.

She greeted everyone and sat beside me.

“So you mean you don’t know anything about your first family and Where you were born?”

My father asked Priscilla who had her beautiful eyes on her breakfast.

She’s shy but brave and outspoken.

    “No sir.

My first family I know told me they picked me from the dump.”

“So why did you leave your first family.” My father was keen to get every information about this girl, Priscilla.

“They loved me at first when they never had a child and I was their only child.

But after God blessed them with a baby, I became something they despise with everything within them.

They accused me of being a witch. Sold the story all over the internet and the vicinity.

They pulled me out of school, starved me and gave me a bed to sleep at the balcony even when it rained.

So…I ran away to the street where I met Dennis who gave me food after starving for weeks.”

“My God! You mean some human beings are really that mean! My God!?” Olivia exclaimed, amazed.

I was amazed too. My head ache at what this little girl has been through for what she knows nothing about.

My Mom stayed silent as this whole conversation went on.

“There’s so much wickedness in the heart of humans.” My father exhaled.

“So you don’t know what your real mother looks like? I’m so sorry babe.” Olivia tried to console Priscilla who doesn’t look sad at all.

She was telling us her story with ease. Know emotions attached at all.

“I know what she looks like.”

“Hmmmm?” My father leaned forward and had all his eyes on Priscilla.

“She looks like me. I am her carbon copy.
She visits me every 24th of July to wish me a happy birthday.

She’s the only one who doesn’t call me by my name, Priscilla.

    She calls me Nini.”

My father’s cutlery slipped off his hands into his plate of pasta.

    “Nini?” He asked, curious.

    “Yes sir.”

“Just Nini ?” My father was so inquisitive about Priscilla’s life story and this showed he was serious about finding his daughter which he believed is still alive.

“She called me Nina just once. I was six years old then but she never called me Nina ever again.”

My Mom adjusted her chair backward. She wasn’t eating her breakfast. She was clearly uncomfortable and her face had trouble written all over.

I don’t know what is about to befall us through Priscilla but I just hope it doesn’t tear my family apart.

I despise divorce. I grew up seeing my parents as the best couple in the world and wished my marriage to be like theirs.

I don’t know why I’m thinking this way though. But the way my Mom excluded herself in the whole conversation, it’s obvious something is wrong.

And whatsoever my dad is trying to find out about Priscilla, my Mom is not comfortable with it.

I sensed trouble and this made my head ache even more.

“You’ll be fine Priscilla.” My father assured her.

We ate our breakfast quietly without saying a word to each other until we were done.

My mother already excused herself and left the dinning room when Priscilla revealed the name her mother calls her whenever she visits.

After having breakfast, I drove Priscilla to her home and drove my family to church.

After church service, my Mom was nowhere to be found at in the church and her number was not connecting.

I drove Olivia to her house and took my father to a salon to have a hair cut.

On our way home, I decided to have a little conversation with my father about Leah and Priscilla.

    “Dad,”

    “Son,”

“I am sorry about what I want to tell you right now…”

    “What is it.”

“Last night I overheard you having a conversation with Mom about Priscilla and Leah.
    Who’s Leah.”

“Why were you eavesdropping on us. You know that’s a disrespect.”

“I am sorry father. I was going to my room when I heard you talking with so much pain in your voice.
    It drew my attention.”

    “Okay…”
“So… Who’s Leah? Why are you so much interested in Priscilla life story?”

“It’s a long story son. A very painful long story and I wish at the end you don’t hate me or hate your mother for any reason.”

“Not at all father. I will always have a reason to love you both.”

    “Hmmmm.”
My father exhaled, “Leah is my late wife. The first woman I was married to before your mother.
    She’s your mother’s twin sister.”

I was shocked to the bone marrow.

I wasn’t expecting that reply at all.

I was expecting something like Leah being my father’s mistress.

But somehow I knew Leah wasn’t just any kind of a woman cause of the way my father spoke about her with my Mom.

But at the same time, I wasn’t expecting her to be anything close to a wife to my father or twin sister to my mother.

“Leah was a woman who wanted a beautiful life for herself and her family.

After we got married, she brought in your mother to live with us.

Leah was still schooling while your mother was into catering and was mostly at home.

She made the food we eat.

One day, she drugged my tea and….I don’t know what happened, but we made love and she got pregnant.”

    He paused and swallowed hard.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Three:

The living room was already filled with the guests of twenty seven people excluding my father who was standing in the middle of them.

I don’t know what he was saying to the guests cause immediately the door swung open, he paused, turned to our direction and beckoned on my mom to come forward.

As my mom walked towards him, my Father’s eyes roved to Priscilla who was standing next to me.

I guess he lost concentration on what he was doing while staring at the innocent girl beside me cause he didn’t notice when my Mom got close to him until she tapped him.

My mom turned to look at Priscilla and smiled beautifully at her.

I felt good. Maybe my mom like her already. Though she’s not yet aware Priscilla is the girl who was believed to be a witch for a reason I don’t know.

The party ended by 11PM and Priscilla had to sleep over.

I went to the visitor’s room to have a little conversation with her and while I was going back to my room, I heard my parents discussing about her.

    Their door was slightly opened.
I stood aside and eavesdropped on them.

“I couldn’t get my eyes off her. She has Leah’s eyes and sat on the couch just the way Leah did.
You know the only difference between you and Leah are your eyes.

    She has Leah’s eyes.

I don’t know how I feel honey, but when I had a hand shake with her, something inside of me echoed BLOOD.

I feel she’s my missing daughter. Leah’s daughter! My blood.”
My father said to my Mom.

    Leah? Who’s Leah?

I kept asking myself as I waited for my Mom’s response.

It took her five minutes before she spoke up.

“Baby, it’s been years now and we’ve agreed to never discuss about Leah and whatever that relates to her.

And remember I told you Leah’s daughter was declared a witch at the church and during labour, she died and her baby followed two days later.

You were outside the country babe. I tried my best to handle the situation the way I could but all to no avail.

We’re all created two in life and Priscilla is another me.

You’re just overthinking. You still have that feeling that your daughter, Nina is still alive that’s why you feel this way.”

“I’m not overthinking. I know what I feel and my dreams are real.
Let me shower and have a bed rest.”

I heard him walk into the bathroom.

My head is totally occupied right now and I don’t know what to think at all.

I went into my room and met my girlfriend, Olivia undressing to shower.

I threw myself into the bed and watched her walked into the bathroom.

    “Beautiful as always.”

“Thanks handsome.” She shut the door and I sank into my thoughts again.

I was battling so much in my head trying to figure out who Leah was to my father.

And how she’s related to my mother.

Was she my mom’s sister, cousin or just a friend?

My dad said the only difference between my mother and Leah is just the eyes.

    Were they twins?

My dad said after he had a handshake with Priscilla, something inside of him echoed BLOOD.

It was the same feeling I had when I hugged Priscilla.

I don’t know what it’s about to unfold on us with Priscilla, but whatever it is, I just pray it doesn’t separate my family and make me have a different feeling towards my mother and father.

I’m afraid of divorce and I’m not ready to see my parents go through that process.

I never heard my father ever had a woman before my mother but through their conversation tonight,

It’s clear enough that my father had a child with another woman.

Could Leah be my dad’s first wife? Or a girlfriend he had a baby with outside wedlock?

    I am older than Priscilla.
And I clearly saw my parents wedding pictures. Though I was also in the picture of their traditional marriage.

Which means they had me before they got married six years later.

And growing up, my father always talked against having extra marital relationship.
“Cheating on your partner in marriage is the bigges disrespect you’ll ever bring to your home.”

So… It’s obvious Leah is not a woman my father had after marriage.

And if my Mom was so bold to discuss the Leah woman with my father and bold enough to console him, it means Leah is someone who’s more than just a mother to his said missing daughter.

Women don’t take it lightly with their men when it comes to talking about their mistress.

I tried to put everything about Priscilla off my head and sleep but I just couldn’t.

I was still deep in thoughts when Olivia tapped me.

She jolted me out of my thoughts.

“I have been calling you, Dennis. Are you okay?”

I nodded in affirmative, staring at her.

“Don’t lie to me Dennis. Something is eating you up.
    Talk to me.”

    “I’m fine, Olivia.”

She sat beside me with her towel tied round her chest.

“I have known you for three years, tell me what’s going on with you.
I feel something is eating you up.”

I didn’t want to share anything about Priscilla with her yet.

“You’re eating me up, Olivia.” I took the towel off, revealing her beautiful soft skin.

“I’m not in the mood. Don’t touch me. Tell me what’s wrong with you.”

“I’ll put you in the mood.”

I lifted her into the middle of bed.

“Don’t force me Dennis, I’ll scream rape o.”

I took my hands off her chest in fear.

I thought she was serious about it but she burst into laughter and quickly took off my belt.

Olivia is a daughter of a famous pastor in this city.

When I first met her, I told her no sex till after marriage.

She agreed for the first six months and after that, she threatened to leave the relationship if I continue with the NO sex till after marriage.

She’s someone that can never say NO to me even if she’s sick

Tonight own shock me to my bones.

“Chicken like you. You’re scared of going to prison?” She laughed.

“Naughty girl, I’m not ready to go to jail for any crime.
    So leave my trouser alone.”

“Leave what? My friend come here and fornicate in peace…”

“Olivia the bad girl.” That was my nick name for her in bed.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode Two:

She tapped me on my shoulder and I jerked out off my thoughts.

She’s talking while I was lost in my thoughts.

“Are you okay?” She asked, peering into my eyes.

“Yeah…” I tried to comport myself.

“I was just trying to recall if I know who you’re talking about.” I lied, I don’t know why.

I just felt something I can’t really explain.

The way my mom was so upset when I told her about giving this girl my food, I felt indifferent about it cause my mom usually give people foods and clothes.

And now this girl just look like her in every angle except her nose and eyes.

She has same voice as my Mom and her smile made me more suspicious.

I don’t want to ruin her birthday today but I really feel like to go home with Priscilla.

“Do you mean that boy that gave you food and water seventeen years ago?”

    She nodded in affirmative.

“Was he with a man dressed in a blue jean shorts and white shirts.”

“Yes, his name is Mike Ebunor. He said that that very day.”

I drew her into my arms and hugged her passionately. I don’t know why I felt so much love for her.

I just felt there is something about her that’s connected to me.

” I’m the one Priscilla! My name is Dennis Okoye. Mr. Mike Ebunor was my school bus driver!” I disengaged her and put my hands on her shoulder as I spoke in her face with so much joy.

    Why was I so happy?

I quickly took off my hands and apologized.

“I’m so sorry about that. I’m just so happy to see you again.”

She just stood there smiling at me without saying a word.

“I’m happy you saved my life, Dennis.
That water and food you gave me that very day brought a miraculous energy that carried me to my place of joy today.
    I’m grateful.”

She spoke gently and softly like my mom.

I just hope I’m not over thinking.

    “You’re welcome once again, pretty.”

    “Thank you, Dennis.”

We exchanged contacts while we discussed about the nature of her job.

“Can you come over to the house today? It’s mom’s birthday today and I’ll be glad to have you at the party ground.”
    I grinned.

“I’ve never been to a party, Dennis.”

“Let’s make this your first then.

    What do you say?”

“No problem but I’ll close by 7PM.”

“The party starts by 6PM till whenever. So I’ll pick you up when you’re ready. Just give me a call.”

She shook hands with me and left.

    I couldn’t shop anymore.

I immediately lost concentration as all my mind could think about was…

Who’s Priscilla? Why do I feel this strange connection with her?

She can’t be my sister. My Mom only has me and I’m the first and only child.

    Priscilla looks younger than me.

She looked like a lady in her 20s

Maybe twenty five years of age.

    So…. Who’s Priscilla

By 6:27PM, I got a call from Priscilla.

I went to her home to pick her.

I met with the family she introduced to me as her parents.

We exchanged pleasantries and I left with Priscilla.

While in the car, I decided to engage her in a little conversation.

“So… Priscilla, what happened after that day we met? I came looking for you several times and I asked questions about you.”

“I’m sorry I got you worried about me.” She replied with a smile, revealing her white teeth like my mother.

    “That’s fine, pretty.”

“After eating to fill that day, I joined some children to help people carry their goods at the market in exchange for a little token and I slept at the market when they close for the day.”

“Alone? Hope you were never molested?”

I was so shocked to hear such revelation.

Her face turned pale and she looked down twiddling her face napkin.

“I’m sorry if I made you sad.” I quickly apologized and hoped not to hear she was ever sexually abused.

“I was r@ped a lot of times at the market. And most times by a particular mad man who took it as his responsibility to always have me whenever he wants.”

A tear dropped from her eyes.

My heart bled so much pains.

I clenched my fist and punched it on the steering.

I groaned and she put her hands on my shoulder to calm me down.

“Calm down and drive Dennis. I came out of it strong and bold now.” She wiped her tears off her face and I tried to hide my emotions.

We arrived at the gate of my family house and the gate man quickly threw the gate opened.

Mom and my girlfriend were outside waiting for me.

    She looked so worried.

I checked my phone and saw seven missed calls from her.

    My phone was on silent….

I opened the car for Priscilla and she beautifully stepped out in her wine dress.

My girlfriend ran toward us along side my mother.

“What happened to you, son?” She cupped my face in her hands. My mom is 5ft tall and I’m 6ft taller but she always find a way to cup my face and that makes me feel loved.

“I’m sorry mom, my phone was on silence.”

My girlfriend drew closer and I hugged her and gave her a peck…

My mom turned to Priscilla and was completely taken aback.

“Oh pretty MINI ME…” She said, almost in a whisper.

    “Who’s she Dennis?”

    “Priscilla, she’s just a friend.”

“Wow. It’s just like I’m seeing my younger self.” My mom was obviously amazed.

“So if I ever have a daughter, this is how beautiful she will be? Oh my goodness!” My Mom exclaimed with joy

Again my thoughts were interrupted when mom said ‘If she ever.’

It means she never had a daughter and Priscilla is not what I’m suspecting to be.

Or should I believe humans are just created two in life?

But why do I feel she’s part of me?

I was happy my mom was cool with her.

I really can’t wait to have Priscilla in my family even if it cost me taking her away from her recent family.

I just need her need in my family.

I’m just so connected to her in a way I can’t explain.

I just hope my suspense are just figment of my imagination.

    “Please come into the house.”

My mom took the lead and we followed…

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό Mini Me Episode One:

“She’s dying of hunger!” I shouted at the top of my voice as I struggled to grab the lunch box from her and yet, she refused.

It was a Monday morning and I was already prepared for school while Mom prepared for work.

My mom packed my lunch box with my favorite food, water and fruits juice.

I was so happy. Not that I was going to eat the food but I was going to give out one of my best things to someone I feel needed it more than I do.

Thirteen years old me was so glad I would be practicing the act of giving for the first time today!

We drove to the gate where my school bus usually come to pick me and there I saw her sitting helplessly on the cold wet floor.

She wrapped herself with a dirty wet duvet. My eyes teared up.

She was a young girl I usually see at the gate. I heard from my school mates that she was abandoned by her mother on the street because a prophet said she’s a witch.

“Mom, can l give her my food?” I asked my mom in the car while we waited for my school bus.

“No son. She’s a witch, that’s why she’s suffering. You can’t give her your food.”

“Mom, she’s a special child and she needs food.”

My school bus arrived and my Mom grabbed my lunch box and headed toward the school bus.

I ran after her and tried to snatch the lunch box from her but mom’s hand was stronger than I could imagine.

I’ve always heard women are weaker vessel but my mom’s hand was a stronger vessel here.

“She’s dying of hunger!” My tear dropped as I struggled to take the lunch box from her.

But mom insisted she’s a witch and deserve to suffer.

I don’t know how true it is, but I don’t think an innocent child deserve to suffer for any reason.

If she’s possessed, then the prophet should’ve prayed and set her free. That’s what Christ did.

    He set the captive free.

And she’s just an innocent little girl looking four or five years younger than me.

“Get into the bus!?” My Mom yelled.

I hurried into the bus and we zoomed off.

I kept my lunch and prayed I see her after school.

While we were going home, I told the bus driver what I wanted to do.

Luckily for me, he was a good man and he felt the same thing I felt for the girl.

When we got to the park, we saw her sitted far away from humans as usual.

The driver followed me to where she was sitted, crying.

I consoled her and gave her the lunch box containing my lunch and some snacks the driver bought for her.

She jumped on me and wept on my shoulder.

I was pained within me seeing an innocent child cry that way but I felt a little freedom in my spirit for being able to offer her food and water.

“God will send you the help you need, friend.”

I never set my eyes on her again after that day.

Seventeen years later, I was at the mall shopping a birthday present for my mom when I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder.

I looked back and I saw a light skinned lady standing before me.

She was such a beauty and she looked so much like my mother.

    “Hi…My name is Priscilla.”

    “Hi, I’m Dennis.” I replied.

    “I’m sorry for disturbing you…”

    “No… You’re not.” I cut in.

“I’m a staff here and I have seen you here countless times. I’m sorry…but you look like someone I have met before and his name is Dennis.

But I met him seventeen years ago at Admiralty park. I was just a little young girl battling unknown situation then.

I mean… I used to live at the park where my Mom abandoned me because she was told I’m a witch.”

    She chuckled.

I was lost in my thoughts staring at this young lass before me.

    She is the girl! Yes!

She still had that beautiful eyes and dreadlocks on.

But I never knew her name.

    I only told her mine.

But….she look so much like my mother and she has my dad’s nose.

    I didn’t notice this back then…

Why is she looking so much like my mother?

    No difference at all…

    What could that mean?
