FROM Omotayo Maimunat Sanusi, FEMI ADEBAYO’S WIFE: You all are quick to bring people down. How does the person who present an award be blamed for it? So if AMVCA gives an award to someone you believe is not deserving, you’ll blame the presenter of the award and not the AMVCA or judges?!!! Where are your brains? Well I don’t blame you all,

I blame the so called colleagues (enemies disguised as friends) Who find it easier to publicly call you out at every opportunity rather than putting a call through to you! Femi is damn too hardworking and supportive!
Madam, karma will visit you soon because you know Femi was only asked to present !
Your call out was definitely Intentional and hypocritical!

‘Dayo! You are an hyprocite and ev!l minded ! Just this morning you were apologizing to Femi on the phone. You claimed you didn’t mean it the way it was interpreted and that you would do a video to correct that but Of course you lied! Who God Has Blessed No Dayo Can Curse. The name LADIES BAG came as a result of my rough life in the college, back then in college I was the devil’s child, I was into hard drugs and womanizing. I Changed women like rapper.

    11th Hour:

    11TH HOUR

I walked into the pastor’s office and I met him sleeping. He has placed his head on the table and slept off.

“Sir, it’s time for the worker’s prayer.”

I quietly tap him. He raised his head and what I saw was the scariest thing I have ever seen. The first time I saw a powerful man of God crying. His eyes were so red and swollen.

    “Okay, tell them I’m coming.”

He uttered with quietly. This very Pastor Stanley, adored by all, has earned a deep affection for his remarkable contributions to the church. Under the church’s banner, he established numerous enterprises aimed at assisting fellow churchgoers. He uplifted every street hustler in the vicinity, harnessing their talents and abilities to transform them into a source of blessing for both themselves and the community.

Imagine Mufutau now Bro Matthew, is presently an engineer who repairs the church generator and other electrical faults in the church and in the community. He was no more that tout, but a responsible man.

Should I keep track of the number of people this man has financially supported to start their own businesses? The graduates he has connected with his influential friends to secure suitable jobs? And the widows and their families he has taken care of? The examples of his kindness and generosity seem endless.

It’s no surprise that his church is always overflowing with people. Little did anyone know that our pastor was simultaneously dealing with three major crises. Nevertheless, he never let his struggles show. I can vividly recall the moment when he held my hand, looked directly into my eyes, and gave me a reassuring smile.

Having been close to him, I have had the privilege of hearing him pray. He converses with God as if the Almighty were seated right there, attentively listening to every word. He is nothing like what one might expect at first glance.

“I am going to miss you, Ramsey.”

He said to me. I saw his eyes still welling up with tears. He took me in after my parents abandoned me with sickle cell. He has been the only family I have. We are five living under his roof. He feeds and takes care of our needs like we were his children.

“The government is coming to demolish the church today as well. But, I have also received the letter to vacate the church too. Some elders said I have made their children to stay far away from them because I got them jobs in far places. They reported me to the G. O and church administration.”

    I sat down with him talking until another Usher came to call him. As we were going into the church, he held my hand and looked into my eyes;

“People are selfish. They want to drink water without minding if the source is faulty. And if you stop giving, they will castigate you for it. I have saved enough money for all of you to start a good business of your own. My friends will take it from where I stop. Promise me you will not stop praying to God. If you stop, the angels will report you to me and if they do, I will send Gabriel to bring one of your ears.”

He quietly joked before entering the church. I ran to the bathroom to cry. I couldn’t hold it.

Not long after I began hearing noises emanating from the church, my curiosity compelled me to rush over and join the gathering. As I entered, I discovered a group of fellow workers, their mournful wails filling the air. It became apparent that the cause of their distress was the announcement of someone’s departure. In the midst of this emotional scene, Elder Timothy’s son unexpectedly leaped to his feet.

“I have the video footage of all the elders planning to remove Pastor Stanley. My elder brother just finished theological school. My Dad and other elders want him to take over from Pastor Stanley. I told them it’s wrong, but they shut me up.”

I recorded everything he said and dropped into the youth WhatsApp group. The majority of them were Pastor Stanley’s proteges. And they started chatting with me. I told them everything he was going through.

Suddenly, the rumbling of a truck and the deafening sound of a demolisher reached our ears, and we instinctively knew that the moment had arrived. The entire congregation, filled with a mix of fear and hope, gathered, engaging in fervent prayers and desperate pleas. Two men adorned in yellow headguards emerged and began making their way towards our sacred church.

An air of apprehension hung among the elders, their gaze shifting nervously between one another. Amidst the tension, some women found solace in singing hymns and passionately exclaiming their faith. It was then that I spotted Mr. Charles, the son of one of the respected elders, stepped out of his car and approached the pastor with determined strides, eager to exchange greetings and speak to him.

“Do you know me, sir? Or are you not Pastor Stanley?”

He asked. The pastor smiled. He hugged our beloved pastor. He knew our pastor was still trying to recollect him. He pulled him away from the crowd, but trust me, I was close by.

“During my NYSC in Lagos, you saw me walking in the hot sun on a Monday afternoon, I will never forget. I remember the clothes you put on that day. You pulled up and called me. You asked what I do, and I told you I was an architect. Not only that, but you gave me your friend’s contact. You asked me to tell the person I was from you. I did, and now the rest is history. That your friend respected you. I met a few others too. They shared with me all that you did for them. And now, I know why it is good to be good. One person from this church called my Dad, who happened to be an elder in one of the branches of this same church, that I should come and buy an abandoned site to build a petrol station. They told me the church has been closed down for two years.”

Everyone was shocked. Pastor Stanley just stood there without surprise. He was used to things like this.

“To preserve the current state of this church, it seems you have prioritized the well-being of its members over enhancing the physical structure. I am familiar with your intentions, and I have a proposal. I will arrange for the same engineer to be sent here, who will construct the church according to your preferences. The design will include underground shops and a restaurant. I will provide you with the plan, and please rest assured that you won’t need to worry about the payment. God has already taken care of it. Once again, I apologize, sir, and thank you for profoundly impacting my life.”

He concluded, gave him another hug and left with his demolishing trucks. The shouts and celebration was behind normal. As if that were not enough, our G. O’s Personal Assistant walked in.

We quickly rushed the service and handed the mic to him during the announcement segment. He collected the mic and sighed more than five times.

“Greetings to all of you from our beloved father, the General Overseer (G. O) of this ministry, and our mother in the Lord. I am here to bring you an important update regarding the news about Pastor Stanley’s departure from this church, which your pastor has shared with you. While that message may have seemed accurate, the G. O felt the need to seek God’s guidance on this matter, and the Lord has intervened at the last moment.

Only a foolish leader would allow a dedicated, honest, and humble servant to leave based solely on hearsay. Certain mischievous elders in this church attempted to undermine the work of God, hoping to manipulate the ongoing activities here. They seem to have forgotten all the good that Pastor Stanley has accomplished. However, I am pleased to announce that Pastor Stanley will remain with us. We should all thank God for pastors like him.

Allow me to highlight some of his remarkable contributions. Pastor Stanley has built three schools, providing church members’ children with a 30% tuition fee discount and free uniforms. He has also established two pure water industries, offering employment opportunities to your jobless children. Additionally, he has conducted numerous training classes in the field of technology and many other areas. His selfless acts toward humanity go beyond the ordinary.

The G. O has instructed me to inform you that Pastor Stanley’s position will no longer be that of a Pastor but rather the Head of the Zonal Headquarters. Furthermore, he will serve as an Assistant to our G. O, overseeing matters related to education and entrepreneurship.

Now, let us all rejoice and shout, “Hallelujah!” for this wonderful news.”

The entire church was filled with a flurry of activity as people scattered about, joyfully jumping up and embracing one another. Amidst the commotion, I spotted someone dear to me and rushed towards him, tears streaming down my face as I sought solace in his comforting embrace. At that moment, I understood the reason behind my tears. Everything around us has transformed, yet one precious thing remained unchanged. However, it remained a secret, known only to me.

Then two gentlemen walked in. They were in black suits. They inquired about the pastor. He met them and it was another mighty testimony.

Sir, I have been dispatched to escort you to Abuja immediately. We have two potential kidney donors awaiting your arrival. However, before proceeding, our organization would like to conduct a thorough assessment to determine the extent of damage to the kidneys.

He dragged me into his office and began to roll on the floor. He was filled with praise. All three problems were solved at the same time, on the same day. Tears continued to stream down his face, and at that moment, I knew where the help came from. Among the guys he had helped, some of them were doctors and wealthy individuals. I kept quiet and just smiled.

There was never a Sunday like that again in our church. He left for Abuja and two weeks later he returned stronger than before. He just kept smiling. As he walked in, we all gave him a standing ovation, to the Glory of God.

“When you next encounter me, simply address me as Wonder. Firstly, a church building that was initially slated for demolition underwent a transformation and was instead renovated. Secondly, my predicament took an unexpected turn and turned out to be a promotion. And thirdly, well, there is absolutely nothing that our God cannot do. Hold unto Him.

I almost lost faith in Him, but I persevered. Prepare yourself for what I’m about to express, as it may catch you off guard. We encounter a greater multitude of temptations compared to all of you. Moreover, it’s essential to remember that we, too, are humans with our vulnerabilities. Each day and night, tears stream down my face as I wait and yearn for God’s presence, hoping that He will intervene in my life. Alas, it seems as though He has not done so, as He intends to manifest His wonders in His own divine timing, which is truly remarkable.

When I received the news that I had a stage three kidney problem. Something died in me that day. Although I had witnessed miracles through my prayers for others, I began to think that perhaps God had forgotten about me. However, when I underwent the final test, I received astonishing news. Listen, if you want to serve God, serve Him wholeheartedly. Trust Him unwaveringly.

I was told that my kidney was in perfect condition. No cancer, no stones, nothing! Instead of relying on someone else’s kidney for survival, He chose to completely heal me! Isn’t God deserving of all our praise? Yes, undoubtedly, He is!”

Do you desire a miracle from God, regardless of what you are going through, He will see you through it all. You don’t need to run anywhere, God alone is enough and He is the surest Deal.

    Happy Sunday.

đŸ§‘â€đŸ’Œ The Man I Married Episode Six: 💞

For close to a minute I was silent, then pastor asked the question again..
Sister Sobiefaa will you marry bro David?

That night I couldn’t sleep because I know I don’t love Bro David but pastor said God told him we are Meant for each other. If I marry this man I will spend all my life fasting and praying. There will be no time for play and social life with him. I’m even sure he will be a virgin; will he even be a real man in the bedroom? He’s a type of man who will not care about his wife’s sexual temperament because of spirikoko assignment. He may even see sex as unclean and unholy. I judged him all through the night.

I shared my burden with Mr Alfred on reaching the office the following morning. He seemed to like the idea, ‘don’t you think Bro David will make a good husband?’ he asked. ‘He has been our prayer leader for the past four years, prayer leader ko,did I tell u I want to marry a prayer leader? I silent said that to myself as he continue talking
. He’s a child of God and I am sure of this; he is working, he has integrity, he’s spiritual and gentle. What else does a woman wants in a man? If you join your resources together you are sure going to start well and grow together. He advised me. His advice sounded nice but I was not at peace in my heart. But pastor said “we are meant for each other ” this kept ringing in my heart every time I made up my mind to turn down the proposal. The six weeks I gave pastor will elapse by Sunday. Pastor will surely summon me into his office to ask for my reply on the issue of Bro David. I was really confused and I felt like not going to church that Sunday.

I picked my Bible to read so I can pray and go to bed. I opened a place at random to read and it was 2 Chronicles 20:20
“And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

I read it over and over again as if I have never seen that verse in my Bible before. Could this be confirming pastor’s words “you are meant for each other”. No I told myself, this is talking about Israel and not Sobiefaa Oghenetega. But how would I tell pastor that Bro David is not God’s will for me? What would I give as a reason for rejecting the proposal? That he’s too spiritual? Of course that won’t be an excuse before my pastor.

‘Good morning Sis Sobiefaa, I am sure you must have prayed enough now, the pastor asked. But before I say anything, Bro David can you share the revelation you shared with me on Friday again? Thank you daddy, Bro David shifted and sat well on the visitor’s chair with smile on his face. But I must be frank, I was irritated by the whole drama.

‘I had a dream last week after our departmental vigil and I saw Sis Sobiefaa crying and holding her wedding gown on her left hand but her man was not with her. Suddenly I saw you daddy and mummy asking her to go through a narrow road where she will see a tree with fruits and names written on each fruit. You instructed her to pluck any fruit of her choice from the tree. By the time she came back with the fruit I saw my name written boldly on the fruit in her hand then I woke up.
Mtcheeeeewww! Just imagine that lame and childish talk,I silently say to myself.

The pastor interpreted the dream and asked me to say yes to Bro David’s proposal as if its now by force.
Right in the pastor’s office he put an engagement ring on my finger. By the time I came out of pastor’s office, a lot of brethren were waiting at the pastor’s office reception to cheer us up. I came to meet the embarrassment of my life as every eyes was on the ring on my left finger. Congratulations! Congratulations!! Congratulations!!! The awaiting members gave me hugs and handshakes. Thank you all, I said as I put on a fake smile.

We courted for three months and wedded. There was no need for long courtship because we were both ready and mature. At the time we wedded he was 34 while I was 31. Just as I anticipated, our honeymoon was nothing to write home about. We lived in the same house like strangers, and we barely spoke to each other. He’s either preparing one sermon or Bible study note. He fasts three times in a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. He leaves the house anytime he’s called upon for any emergency prayer meeting. I was married but lonely.

“So, Noah…you left this house right? You finally left? Oh…you think I don’t know your plan?

“But…sir!, Why didn’t you say it out all this while! It could be dangerous! You…you….have heart problem and you’ve been keeping it to yourself! God!” Charlene shouted. She felt tears rushing out of her face.
“Come on Charlene.. it has not been confirmed yet.
I’m just assuming because of the symptoms I’m having and infact…I’m no longer having them.” Noah said, trying to convince her but Charlene wouldn’t hear any of it.
“Sir… please stop giving excuses!.you are endangering your life.

How…how come your wife doesn’t know?
We are going to the hospital this afternoon and there is no refusal.” Charlene said and Noah breathed in. He buried his head in his palms.

Enny and Esther we’re sitting on a sofa in their sister’s living room, drinking side drink and gisting while their mother lectured Flora their elder sister. They were on their way home from school for holiday and their mother had come to the airport to pick them and decides to see Flora at once.
However, she was not pleased with the mood in the house. It was getting late and Noah was yet to return.

“Now what do you make of this,Flora? O warned you severally to control your hot temper but no! I told you to be patient!” Mrs Adeline said to Flora who sat carelessly on the bed.
She glanced up at her mother.
“Oh please mom. Spare me that! I should do what?
Exercise some patience? So that all those hungry looking fowls will snatch my husband? It will never happen.

Not in this house!” Flora shouted, going out with her phone as she tried Noah’s number.
    It was not going.
“An an sis. We will soon be going na. Where is bross Yello?” Enny asked, referring to Noah.
It was almost ten and Noah was not yet back.
Flora was beginning to get scared as she dialled his number again.

Charlene had never been so confused in her life as she carried a tray out of her kitchen with a bottle of water in it,to the dinning where her boss was sitted.
Noah was lost in thought as he continued getting himself drunk.
Charlene placed the tray on the table looking at him.” Sir…. please….it’s already late and your wife will be bothered. It’s almost….”

“God Charlene!, You heard the doctor! I…I…..have a heart problem and it can develop to heart failure anytime if proper treatment is not done!
And you expect me to go to my nagging wife this night? So I can die?” Noah had tears in his eyes as he yelled in pain.
Charlene’s heart bled as she watched this man.

    How unfortunate could someone be!
“You…you… mean you are spending the night here in my house?” Charlene asked and Noah looked up at her and stood up slowly as he stood facing her.
He was already drunk as he struggled to stable himself.

“Not only spending the night here with the woman who has shown me what care is…..I want to show you some appreciation.”
Noah said through clenched teeth and with that,he threw his hands behind Charlene and grabbed her, pulling her closer as his lips fastened on hers…in a very long deep kiss.

Femi asked for God’s grace to open up to his wife as advised by his friend. He went home to meet her already packing her things, he quickly moved closer to her and knelt beside her.

    Femi: Babe…….

    Kunbi: who is your babe??

Femi: can you please hear me out?

Kunbi: what do you still have to say?

Femi: I want to tell you everything, what happened between Tamar and I

Kunbi: I don’t think there is a need for you to tell me

You had the opportunity to tell me, things won’t have gotten to this level if you had opened up earlier. What do you think opening up now will do? Bring back, my son? And to think we waited before getting that child from God. Femi, for peace to reign, we should go separate ways. At least, you have a child with Tamar

Femi: Babe, please, don’t say that. Tamar isn’t my wife and I am not sure the baby is mine

Kunbi: but you slept with her right? You slept with her because you couldn’t control the thing between your legs.
If it had been your past alone, I won’t be so bothered but the fact that you slept with her is something I can’t take.

Femi: Kunbi, please, if you leave me, my life won’t be balanced again

Kunbi: (dragging her luggage out of the house) You should have thought of that before hiding things from me, you should have thought of that before sleeping with another woman.

Femi: See Kunbi, I didn’t sleep with her intentionally, I was forced to do so

Kunbi: (sarcastic) Wow, like she raped you???

Femi: she said the only way to have my secret kept is for me to sleep with her and I fell for it. I never knew it was a ploy.

Kunbi: you are the most foolish man I have ever seen. Listen and listen good, don’t ever try to come for me, I am done with this marriage.

Mrs. Oyewole: just take a look at yourself, I don’t understand when you become like this. Femi, you have made me a laughing stock, why can’t you run to me when things began to degenerate? Why can’t you even open up about your life? And till now, you still wouldn’t say anything.

Femi: Mum, can you let me think?

Mrs. Oyewole: That’s all you have been doing, thinking and crying. Is that the solution to the problem?

Femi: what else could be the solution, Mom? Kunbi doesn’t want to see me

Mrs. Oyewole: knowing what you did to Tamar and making amends should be the next line of action. Do you think Tamar doesn’t have more plans to execute? She is only waiting for you to recover from the loss of your son. She will come for you when you least expect

Femi: Mom, I am ready for her. Let her come and kill me. What is left to live for?

Mrs. Oyewole: you need a slap to reset your brain. Do you want me to bury you?

Femi: Mom, if you care to know, she is Elder Seun’s only surviving child who lived with me. I raped her back then…..

Mrs. Oyewole: yeeee, you mean she is Tanimola?

đŸ‘« My Virgin Sister Episode Sixteen:

I slowly pull the entire length of my cock out of her snug, little pussy until just the head is inside. Then, just as slowly I push it all the way back in. She is steaming hot and so tight that it feels like a thousand needles are massaging my cock. I repeat the slow sliding in and out until she is arching her back and raising her hips up to meet my strokes. It’s like a dream. I’m actually fucking my sister! My cock is sliding in and out of my twin sister’s tight, virgin pussy. No one will ever feel her pussy like I’m feeling it right now. I start pumping faster.

“Yeah, Jack, faster like that. I want you to fuck me faster.” My sister is now raising up her ass and matching me stroke for stroke. Her hands are gripping my back, pulling me tightly against her. My face is buried in her neck and my arms are under her shoulders. With my hands holding her body from sliding up the bed, I slam my cock harder into her pussy. My balls are slapping her ass and she’s grinding her clit against me as I plunge deeper and deeper into her hot, virgin hole.

“Keep going faster, Jack! Yeah, harder like that. Don’t stop, Jack. Don’t stop. Yes! Yes! Ohhhhh God! Jack! Jack! Pleeeeeeeezz don’t stop!! Ohhhhhhhh.” She is clawing at my back and screaming as we keep up the pounding rhythm of our lovemaking. I’m getting close and I’m trying hard to keep up with her, as she arches up and down faster and faster, pushing my cock in and out of her incredibly tight pussy.

“Ohhhhhh, Don’t stop, Jack! I’m cumming!” She wraps her arms around me and holds me tightly to her. I pound into her as hard as I can. My balls are slapping against her ass and I can actually hear my cock moving in and out of her slushy, wet pussy. When her fiery pussy walls clamp down on my rigid cock, it puts me over the top and the first load of cum, to ever touch her virgin pussy, is squeezed out in spasmic bursts from my hard, throbbing cock. She bucks and shivers as our orgasms meet each other in a climatic push and she wraps her legs around me, holding me deep inside her.

We are both panting and I can feel her chest rise and fall against mine. I turn my head and kiss her gently on the lips. We stay tensely pushed up against each other, waiting for our orgasms to subside. My cock is fully spent inside her and I can feel her pussy pulsating around it. I relax a little as I lay there on top of her, catching my breath. Neither of us says anything for a long time. We just hold on to each other basking in the afterglow of her first time. Lisa is the first to speak.

“That was wonderful, Jack!” she says, turning her head to look at me. “It didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. You were so gentle and so loving. And of course, you had gotten me so hot.” She’s smiling up at me with her head tilted to one side. “So, still think being with your sister is weird? Do you think what we’re dong is wrong?”

“It isn’t weird, Lisa. What’s weird is that you’re so incredibly sexy; you make me forget about any girl I’ve ever been with or even fantasized about,” I say, kissing her on her lips. “I really love you Lisa, and I don’t want to stop what we’ve started.”

“Neither do I, Jack,” she says, squeezing her pussy muscles around my spent cock. “You’ve made me into a woman today. I want you to keep making me feel like a woman.”

“What will be wrong is if we let ourselves get caught,” I say, looking at the clock. “Speaking of which, we better get ourselves and your bed cleaned up. We have about another hour before Mom gets home. I think we should take a shower.”

“Together?” she asks, smiling up at me.

“Yes! And then we need to wash your bedding and air out your room. It smells like sex in here. Tomorrow we need to remember to pull back the covers and fuck on the sheets instead of the bedspread.”

“Tomorrow? So you’re already planning ahead, huh? What have you got in mind for tomorrow? Are you going to assign more homework for tonight?” Lisa asks, laughing.

“Yes. Tomorrow, the day after, and the day after that, and the day after that,” I answer, kissing all over her face as I speak. “And since you’re such a good student and you got extra credit for your additional research last night, I want you to do some more research tonight. I want you to look up all the different sexual positions you can find and make a list of the ones you want to try,” I tell her, moving my mouth to her neck. “I already know of two that I want to try. I really want to do it with you on top, so I can watch your sexy tits bouncing up and down, and play with your nipples while we fuck. And you have such an incredibly beautiful ass, Lisa, that I can’t wait to fuck you from behind and watch the curves of your ass, while my cock slides in and out of your pussy.”

Impregnate Me Or I Die Episode 4

Thank you for choosing Siri as your online beautiful sweet story reading partner. Today we have “Impregnate Me Or I Die Episode 4 Or Chapter Four Or Part 4 Of Impregnate Me or I Die Story or Novels To Read with Siri.”

🧛 Impregnate Me Or I Die Episode Four: 💚

My husband practically dragged me to the hospital. He made all the complaints to the doctor as I was economical with information about my health so as to avoid any treatment that will jeopardize my chances of conceiving that month.
Immediately the doctor asked me to lie on the patient stretcher so he could observe me. He did I quick scan on my abdomen, ‘madam you may
stand up.’ He said after the scan. My eyes were fixed on his l-ips, anxious to hear his diagnosis.

‘Sir, madam is having an infection and that is the cause of the pain, I will place her on medication for two weeks. I will also treat you so you won’t pass it to her again through s€×ual intercourse.

Does it mean I am not pregnant? I asked myself and unknown to me my silent question was loud enough that the doctor heard it. ‘No madam, you are not pregnant. Even if you were pregnant I would prefer we take care of this infection first.’ At that moment I hated my husband for bringing me to hear this bad news, I hated the doctor too for giving me this bad news. For the period we spent with the doctor I was quiet all through. in,side the car while going home I didn’t say a word to my husband neither did I reply any of his conversations.

We got home and my husband gave me the dose for that night. ‘I won’t take these drugs because I know I don’t have any infection. Even if I have an infection, my God will heal me.’ I told my husband.

My husband was not happy about my attitude and I could see anger all over his face. The drugs were too powerful for an expectant mother and I didn’t wish to take such medication at the moment . It will suspend my plans of getting
pregnant for two months. If I take the drugs now, it will flush out my pregnancy and will not allow
me observe my ovulation time for the next month. I refused to take the drugs but kept praying to God for this month’s pregnancy to
stay. I started vomiting some days later. I quickly rushed to the calendar to calculate the days I
missed my period, it was the 29th day after the last circle. I quickly put a call through to Sally, ‘I think I am pregnant’, I told her on phone. ‘Have you gone for a test?’ she asked me. ‘I have been vomiting for two days now and I haven’t seen my menses for 29 days, do I need
any test to know I am pregnant?’
‘Missing your menses for 29 days and vomiting are not enough to conclude you are pregnant.

Dear friend, please go for pregnancy test tomorrow. I know it will surely be positive,
congratulations in advance.’ she said. I couldn’t explain what I felt because of what Sally said and the congratulation greeting. My fear with going for pregnancy test is the fact that I will not be able to withstand “madam you
are not pregnant” or “madam the test is negative”. I decided I won’t go to the hospital
for a test until I see more signs of pregnancy. My husband and I had not been friendly terms
because of my refusal to take the drugs prescribed for the treatment of the infection. I
knew I was still in control of his heart because of the love he had for me, so I wasn’t afraid. More
so, I know telling him that I was pregnant will change his attitude, all I needed was just to be sure I was pregnant.

I waited on till the 36th day before I told my husband I was ready for a pregnancy test. He
smiled and said ‘pregnancy test you will have.’ He quickly dressed up and we drove to the hospital. This time I was more optimistic
because I had seen almost all the pregnancy signs I have heard of in my life. My blood sample
was taken, ‘you may wait at the
reception,’the lab lady announced to us. But this was not the method last time, I sat with the man
while he did the test. Why is this lady asking us to go out first for a test that’s less than fifteen minutes? We obeyed and went to sit at the reception. Fifteen minutes later she called out my
name to come for my result. My husband asked me to sit down while he went for the result but I
pretended as if I didn’t hear him, so I followed him right behind. As soon as I saw the lady handing over a brown envelope to my husband I started feeling dizzy.

    Before my husband could
collect the envelope I was down on the floor. All that happened thereafter was explained to me when I regained my consciousness.

My infection had gone bad at this time, with whitish and creamy fluid coming out of my private. I knew I had no option this time other than to submit myself for treatment. The drugs were intimidating and horrible but I didn’t have any other choice than to complete the dose. I took the drugs in pain and bitterness. After two weeks I was asked to go for scanning to know the level of my responsiveness to treatment. The doctor wasn’t satisfied with my condition so he placed me on another two weeks heavy treatment. Those times were close to hell for me. One wh0le month of swallowing pills and heavy antibiotics.

I became jealous of Sally as her pregnancy advanced by the day while I was battling with an
infection. Three months later nothing happened, all my attempts to get pregnant never materialized. I became tired of life and wish I could just die. My inability to conceive turned into a nightmare. My husband had grown leaned for too much of s€× yet I was not pregnant for once. I
made a lot of research on Google and other fertility websites all to no avail. I forced my
husband to see a specialist on my inability to conceive but I was advised to calm down and that I had no need to worry until after one year.

One year looked like ten years. I can’t wait for one year, I told myself. I must be pregnant next month by all means.

My phone rang while I was in the bathroom twice. When I came out to check my caller, it was Sally. I called back, “hello Sally,’ ‘hello
Maryam’, she greeted back. ‘I called to inform you that I was delivered of a baby boy
yesterday,’ she said. I managed to congratulate her, I faked happiness but I was not happy deep
inside of me. After we ended the conversation my body system changed immediately. Many evil
thoughts took hold of me. My friend who we thought will not be able to get pregnant is now a
mother, Maryam the holy V-rgin cannot achieve one day pregnancy.

    It was useless keeping my
V-rginity all these years. I should have enjoyed
myself like Sally did. All the years of denial were needless after all.

My husband came back from work that day with a news of promotion in his office. He was so excited about it but I was indifferent, neither did I show any sign of happiness. “Sweet heart, you
didn’t even congratulate me for my new promotion,’ he queried. ‘Why should I congratulate you? Other men are impregnating
their wives you, you are bringing promotion letter to the house. I want positive pregnancy test
result in a white envelope not a promotion letter in a brown envelope.’ His countenance
suddenly changed from good to bad.
He just quietly left me in the sitting room to the bedroom.

I went after him and scre-med at the top of my voice, ‘Impregnate Me or I die! Strong and real
men give their wives children’. My husband did not alter a word and that made it painful. I moved
closed to him, held his cloth as if he was owing me money. ‘If you are man enough make me
pregnant now,’ he held me and said in a calm tune, “God makes all things beautiful in his own time”.

Our marriage will soon be one year and I have not been seen with pregnancy. I no longer
attended church regularly for shame and unnecessary questioning from church members.
In fact, I began to hate those prayers people do whenever they see me. Those prayers makes everyone know you are waiting on the Lord for fruit of the womb. I started avoiding some women in church for the embarrassment from
their so called prayers and wishes. This continued until I met with Mama ibeji, they call her mama ibeji because she had a set of twins. She walked up to me after Sunday service, ‘Mrs Omeiza
how are you?’ ‘I am fine ma’am’, I replied.

‘Can I have a chat with you? Yes ma’am.’ I already knew she was going to talk about conception because she’s one of those zealous women who will not mind their business in church. I just wanted her to say what she wanted to say so I can go. ‘I know what you are going through Mrs Omeiza because I was there too. I waited three years after our wedding before God
answered me.’ I didn’t know she waited that long anyway before having her children. She told me about a pastor in Abaji who God has been using to answer the prayer of waiting mothers.
She promised to take me there if I was willing.
Why won’t I be willing? I want to carry my baby too.

How to tell my husband I want to go and see a Prophet over conception is a big problem. He will never subscribe to that idea because he is a man of faith. I started thinking of lies and immediately I thought of telling him I want to go and see my
mom. I got it all planned out with Iya ibeji and we took off to Abaji the following day. When we got
to Abaji I was expecting Iya ibeji to take me to a church since we were going to see a prophet but
I was shocked to my bones when we got into the hotel and iya ibeji bought a ticket in my name at
the reception. I summoned courage to asked her, “ma I thought you said we are coming to see a
prophet, why are we here in a hotel?.” Do you want to carry your baby or not? She asked me as she looked through my eyes. Of course I want to carry my baby. So I replied, ‘I want to carry my
baby.’ It seems a section of the hotel have been leased to prophet David Evans for this work. We
got to the section and met two other women on the waiting queue.

We sat down and waited for
our turn. When we got in, I was expecting to see a man on suit with a Bible on his table and
probably a bottle of anointing oil but that was far from it. Rather I saw a funky man with a well
furnished office surrounded with beautiful electronic gadgets. This man can’t be a prophet, I thought within me.
