Doctor fenty paced around the conference room. Of course! she was summoned by the board of directors.

“We are taking time…let me do the operation already. ” Doctor fenty said and she checked her wristwatch. It was 3:00pm .

“did you know what you have done can cause you your license. Operating on a patient you have not carried out a test on…we don’t even know the cause of her slumping ” Mrs Giwa, one of the board of directors said.

Doctor fenty frowned. "I don't care whatever you people think about this. but I need to carry out the operation on her. She has limited time to live. I must save her"  said fenty.

“And do you even know the type of heart disease she has?” mr valentino asks.

” yes! Coronary Artery disease…it’s the most common diseases. And she has been keeping it for two years. She has limited time to live…in less than 5 hours she will be saying goodbye” Doctor fenty explains.

“Oh goodness! That is such a deadly disease. That old woman is playing with her life. How can someone keep a deadly disease for 2 years. well I hope she survives it…” Amanda said.
. Amanda is also one of the board directors.

"Yes! It's a 90/10 chance." Mrs Giwa said. 

           "That means her chance of survival is 10% percent and her chance of not making it is 90% percent" Amanda said.

“Her chance of surviving this deadly disease is very slim ” Mr valentino said.

"But I still suggest we shouldn't go through with this operation. It's so dangerous. Apart from her chance of survival she will suffer some serious complications " Mrs Giwa says.

” Let me go through with this please. let me” Doctor fenty pleaded.

Amanda sighed. “We understand your plight of trying to save this patient. it is part of humanity but can you have a rethink?” Amanda said.

“I don’t have to think about anything.I have to save her” Fenty said.

" Fine! You can go through with it but remember this that she will suffer some complications and most of all her chance of survival is very slim"  Amanda.

"And wait a minute! my father is the owner of this hospital so you should be  following my orders" Doctor fenty said firmly.

Just then a nurse rushed in. “Sorry for interrupting! But her granddaughter is here ” The nurse said and rushed out.

” I am doing this operation!” Doctor fenty said and followed the nurse.

                 Nanare became so restless. She cried her eyes out. This was the same way she loosed her two parents. They died in an accident but couldn't retrieve her mother's body. Her father's body was only retrieved from the accident.

She kept wondering what had happened to grandma that made her collapsed suddenly.

Nanare took her phone immediately and called Remita. The first person that came to her mind was Remita.

                 She called Remita's phone but it wasn't going through then she decided to call naomi. Naomi wasn't picking up either. 

Then she texted Remita.

      Marlon pat her back consoling her. But the tears became so worse. Nanare couldn't hide the tears. She felt so bad that she hadn't even spend close to a year with her that she collapsed.

"She would be okay. everything will be alright" Marlon consoled her.

Remita entered her hotel room with red. Suddenly she felt bad.

She felt like something terrible is happening.

 "Grandma!!!" She said.

“Grandma???” Red asks in confusion. He arched his brow.

 " my grandma. I felt she is in danger " Remita said.

     " Don't worry she's okay" Red said and pat her back.

  Red pulled her into a tight hug.

But Remita was still not okay.

“We need to operate on her right now ” Doctor fenty told Nanare.

Nanare became so confused as ever. " Operate on her?? why??? " She asks.
  "Don't you know why?? " Fenty asks nanare.

"I don't understand what you are talking about doctor. I don't get you. I am so lost" Nanare said in fear.

“Your Grandma is battling with an heart disease for the past two years. Didn’t she tell you anything??”

Nanare’s phone fell from her hand.
“What?? An Heart disease?? For two years? no way! This is ridiculous I don’t know what you are talking about ” Nanare complain.

Marlon picked up Nanare's phone on the floor.

“Well, this is not the issue.The issue right here now is that we need a heart donor. Since medicine won’t work on it. A heart transplant is more than necessary ” Doctor fenty said.

            " A heart donor?? heart transplant?? my grandma doesn't need those she is perfectly okay" Nanare said without knowing.

"Believe me...in less than 5 hours. She will give up the ghost. So that means within 1 hour you have to look for a heart donor or else" Fenty explained.

“No, no noooo…my grandma can’t die but this morning she was perfectly fine. She wasn’t showing any form or symptoms of someone battling with an heart disease ” Nanare said.

Then a nurse came. ” The theater is ready. The patient is there. The only thing missing is the heart donor” The nurse said.

Just then another nurse rushed in.

"Another complications!!!" The other nurse said.

    "What is it??" fenty asks.

 "The patient is awake but her breathing is not stable. She kept calling out Remita....Remita, Remita" The other nurse explained.

Nanare widened her eyes in shock.

     "Remita?? That's my little sister "  Nanare said.
    "Well, I don't care who she is...you need to get her here right away. Right away! " Doctor fenty said.

 Nanare became so scared. She tried calling Remita's phone.

  Finally she picked up.

“Grandma suddenly collapsed” Nanare broke the bad news to Remita.

Remita sprang up.

Red sprang up too.

"Grandma collapsed?? What is... I...don't get it. You are kidding right??" Remita said in fear.

 "No, Grandma is in the hospital you have to fly down here immediately. She wants to see you " Nanare said.

“Okay, okay ” Remita said but then she remembered she’s in California.

Remita bursts into tears. She was shaking badly.

 Red consoled her.

Red called Jude immediately. Jude is Red's personal manager.

“Prepare the jet! we are going back home” Red said with authority.
He hanged up.

Naomi heard the news.She became scared and sprang up in fear. Of course! Naomi had called her.

Remita hurriedly packed her bags. Red helped her. She was sad.

 Soon, the jet was ready.

Red had allowed naomi to follow them. Genesis, Tasha, jeremy and Daniel consoled them and bade them goodbye.
  Tasha felt so sorry for Remita. Tasha knew Grandma will die.

"She has limited time to live. " Tasha muttered.

    Remita still couldn't believe her ears. She couldn't stop crying. Red consoled her and pulled her into a hug. Remita cried on his shoulders.

Red suddenly felt like crying too. He felt so bad for his girlfriend . He was sad.

Naomi cried too. She didn’t even look at Red and Remita’s side. She just sat at the other corner far away from them.

 Remita didnt know what she was going to do if something bad happens to Grandma.

After 10 hours, They arrived.

   A  6 black cars arrived with a white flashy limousine. 

The security guards rushed out and guarded Red . Remita was troubled. Red held her hands tightly. Naomi became jealous.

      " I love you...keep calm" Red whispers to Remita.
 The reporters came rushing at him. They kept flashing lights. 

The security guards blocked them from moving closer to him. …. …. He entered the car with Remita and naomi.

The car sped off.

Nanare stood beside grandma. Her eyes were still opened.
Doctor fenty was surprised grandma was still alive .

      "She is a strong old woman" Doctor fenty muttered.

 Doctor fenty still hadn't carried out the operation on her because grandma refused. 

Grandma knew even if she is operated on, she will die.

Soon, Remita rushed in with Red.

Everyone was stunned to see Red.

Grandma smiled tears when she saw Remita and naomi. Remita knelt in front of Grandma.

"Grandma, what happened to you?? how did you end up here..." Remita said in tears.

Grandma held her chest in pain. The pain was terrible. But she still managed to talk.

Grandma held Remita's cheek and smiled in tears. 

" i am sorry Harmony, Peace and Nanare. I am so sorry. " Grandma began.  

Remita nodded negatively. ” don’t be sorry Grandma. You don’t need to be sorry” Remita said.

" I am really sorry...for keeping this from you. For the past 2 years. ... (sobs) I have a terrible heart diseases which will take my life sooon. I should have told you girls but I did it for the sake of you Remita, to save up for your surgery but when you started talking I became so happy. But it was too late for me to go do the surgery because the disease had eaten deep in my heart ... I am really sorry for keeping this from you girls..please forgive me " Grandma confessed.

Nanare hit her forehead. " but you should have told us Grandma. It wouldn't have come to this at all " Nanare cries out.

“But grandma you should have at least told us… Why did you do this grandma??” Naomi said in tears.

” Nanare said in the text message that you need a heart donor. I can donate mine. I can give you my heart Grandma. I am ready to save your life in exchange with mine. I don’t care if I die. I am ready to give you my heart Grandma. You don’t deserve to die. ” Remita said in tears.

 Tears dropped from Red's eyes too. But he cleaned it immediately but grandma saw it.

Red remembered the night his parents were killed in front of him. He felt so sorry for Remita for going through this.

" no, you can't donate your heart to me Harmony, You still have a lot of things to achieve. A lot of journey to pass through. Please when I am gone...don't cry always be happy because I will always be with you girls. I love you Harmony, peace and Nanare and nanare always be a good woman, Get married while you are still young. Naomi be good to your sisters, Don't ever leave them, I love you. Remita, I love you so much " Grandma said.

Her eyes were still opened.

Naomi went out with Remita and Nanare. The nurses took them out. 

Red was still standing. He wanted to leave but grandma held his hands. Red turned to Grandma.

Grandma touched Red’s cheek and smiled tears.

“Please I am leaving Remita to you now. please protect her for me. I am giving you my blessings. Please watch over her for me. Don’t allow her get hurt. Always watch over her. I know I will die now with a smile on my face ” Grandma said.

Red nodded positively and held grandma tightly.

” I promise you grandma I will never leave her side ” Red promised. ¹
The life supporting machine beeped and the graph showing on the life supporting machine became flat and grandma gasped for her last breathe.

Doctor fenty tried to revive her but it was too late. Grandma had died.

Remita rushed in and mover closer to Grandma's lifeless body. 

 "Grandma!!!" Remita shouted.
      Remita hugged Grandma's lifeless body. She shakes Grandma's body.

" Please don't die yet. Wait for me Grandma!! Stay with me!!! please Grandma. I can't leave without you grandma..please stay!!! " Remita cried.

Red cried with her but he was still strong for her.

” Time of death : Thursday, February 11th 2021″ Doctor fenty said.

The nurse recorded.

“Noooo, my Grandma is not dead. she is still alive” Naomi rushed in and pushed the nurse away. She pushed Remita on the floor and clung to Grandma’s lifeless body.

 Red hugged Remita. He consoled her but she kept crying her eyes out. 

     Nanare entered too with Marlon.

Naomi cried on Grandma's lifeless body. The nurse covered her body but Naomi removed the white cloth.

  Marlon gripped Naomi and took her outside.

 Remita cried her eyes out. Red felt really bad for her.

 It really felt like a nightmare for Remita.
